    Sorry guys, have been doing Christmas stuff for the past two days. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. Hoke nods to the nords in greeting before they lock into combat with Jess and Benji. He trusts his companions can handle these two with ease, but he would watch the fight carefully to study the nords style and techniques in case they would ever be used against the party. Hoke had been around long enough not to trust warriors who reveled in combat.

    "Are the orcs attacking the bridge to halt the construction or simply to raid for supplies? Perhaps it's a group of young orc warriors who are over eager to prove their prowess in battle. Wouldn't it be prudent to contact the various orc tribes to ascertain which or who is behind the attacks rather than lump them all together?"

    Can you post updated stats from the last battle? As they travel, Hoke looks around at the party to make an assessment of their strengths and weaknesses. It seemed to be a group with good talent and valuable skills. He was pleased to have each of them along. "Does anyone of you care to borrow any of my unused weapons or artefacts? I rather they be in useful hands than sitting useless in my pack."

    From previous quests, I was under the impression that Secondary/Second Party Leaders were there in large groups for battle purposes in case the Party Leader was KO'd and did not have out of battle command/party decision functions. But hey, it made for some good RPGing and brought up a conversation on play styles.

    Case-by-case basis really. Like with Mystic Knights/Alchemist/Rogues/Tinkerer or whatever the new Marketplace Class is called, I look at what transpired over the course of a battle. If a Mystic Knight got an Enchantment or two, they wouldn't wind up with the Bright Polish or Grating Stone. If the Alchemist made a few items in their rolls and their inventories were pretty well stocked, then most consumables would be spread elsewhere. If a Rogue steals hundreds of gold in a battle, then the loot gold would go towards those who still fought but didn't have a means to generate gold.

    50 gold a pop or whatever was even and consumables. Whoever got the beard and sword would be short at least the gold.

    See, with something like that, I would spread the loot/gold out over every PC. Everyone winds up with something.

    Stingy? At the end of the battle everyone wound up with gold. The rogues got a whole lot more gold AND consumables/loot. Every PC uses Phoenix Essences. It's the (only?) one consumable you can't use on yourself. If you have one, you might as well consider it as belonging to the party.
