Hoke decides to pin an ad on the Questboard: For Trade: 1 Topaz for your 1 Garnet.

"Hopefully Elphaba will be along soon. I need to add a Garnet to my collection."

Probably so. That was my 1st artifact, and is really quite useful. Allows an unimbued weapon to damage Ethereal and Undead.

That's what the quest says, but I was just making sure it wasn't a typo. That's better than SP, especially if I equip the Flagpole!

Hoke enters the Marketplace yet again. He has a few items that he hasn't used and may sell for the right price. He walks once again into Fabian's shop. "My good sir, how much would you pay for these items?" Chains of the Pongcanis Chief (Hero Pierces SP if fighting from Front, Enemies ignore SP if hero fights from the back row, cannot be removed in battle) Electro Gear (Adds lightning-element to physical attacks and protects from lightning-elemental damage, accessory) Cultist Hat (damage vs undead)

Does the Samurai Helmet give WP or SP? Quest says WP, but I am just making sure. I thought it was for SP, but oh well either way!

"Here, take this instead." Hoke gives Tesni 30 gold and accepts the Samurai Helmet. "Hope to put it to good use soon. Mayhaps you have heard of a quest with the Shadeaux family? I seek their patronage."

"How does 25 gold sound?"

"Mayhaps you could get a quote? I would hate to swindle you out of such treasure."

"Interesting....." Hoke said as he inspected the helmet, "What would an item such as this be worth to you?"

Hoke gave you a Chicken Leg which is +1 to Health.

"Interesting thing is that, because of the abilities of the party, there didn't seem to be much of a challenge. You should have seen the treasures in the Fields, but I am guessing there was plenty of loot after all the bandits were vanquished. Have anything of interest aside from the wonderful blade you now carry?"

Hoke strikes a pensive pose and scratches his chin. "Not bad, not bad. We took out a Kraken and a Titan, among other things," he says with a wink.

Hoke walks up to the ladies and pats Tesni firmly on the back. "I see you made it back from the bandits."

He will be a Mystic Knight for awhile. I plan on purchasing Grand Tonics & Ether Cores to help with the Ether consumption.

Don't forget I have the Electro Gear too, so when it's equipped, Hoke automatically deals Lightning Damage.

Hoke enters the Hall with his new equipment in tow. He would need to adjust and fit everything properly. He sat down by the hearth and set out his equipment and began sorting it all.

Hoke enters the Marketplace once more and heads to Fabian's. "May I have a pair of Pugilist Gloves and the Heavy Armor? Thanks." Hoke hands Fabian 310 gold leaving him with 1013 gold.

Need some opinions on Hoke's build (I'm looking at you Flipz!). I plan on purchasing the Pugilist's Gloves and Heavy Armor. This will bring Hoke up to SP 27 with base attack (level + bonus) to 33. It will also give him immunity to Weakened and Frail/Fragile. When the Flagpole is in use, Hoke will be at SP 30. I will also still have 1,000+ gold to work with, with 100 of that going to purchase a Garnet from Elphaba when she shows up. I plan on buying Grand Tonics/Ether Cores as Enchanting items in getting ether expensive. So here are my questions: -Is this a solid plan? -Should Hoke ditch the Counterstrike Gloves in favor of the +2 bonus to attack and immunity to Weakened with the Pugilist Gloves? -What's the best gem combo for a 2 weapon system? I am leaving 1 weapon unimbued to deal with Ethereal enemies. -Should I immediately consume the Level Up Mushroom to get 4 artifact slots? The reason I am hesitant is because I want to go Dragoon before level 40 so that Hoke has full control over the dragon. -What artifacts should Hoke equip that are in his inventory, including the theorized addition of the Pugilist's Gloves and Heavy Armor? Thanks!

How wants to go on a Quest with Hoke? He's got you covered with at least 3 SP for the whole party!

I probably already know the answer, but I am going to ask anyway. Can any weapon/shield in the Mystic Knight's inventory be the recipient of Enchantment, or does that item have to be equipped to be Enchanted?

Hoke entered the Hall after his visit to the Marketplace and approached Benji. He plopped down a bag filled with 75 gold coins and smiled. "I believe we had an arrangement," he said cheerfully.

Ok, I wasn't sure because it was a Black Knight specific item, and I didn't know if that hurt the price.
