  1. It does't really matter what size it is, as long as it does't use the 6 hole pulley wheel, and i just suddenly got this ideal because i brake a combo lovk with a hammer the other day.
  2. Its about $10 per cart, and if you eant next day shipping it costs about $75! I bout 120 tread links and the sprockets pack for 24 dollars, but with shipping it's around $32! Also, on bricklink you can get a whole unmog wheel for about $4
  3. Do you guys know of any simple combination lock that is used in a container and doesn't use the pulley wheel?
  4. Most of them usually have paper and cardboard on them, but hen we sort we don't really sense those things, so they go with the container.
  5. The prices don't seem a lot but the shipping costs around $10, better off looking for the piece part on bricklink and remember to try and buy all your parts from one person.
  6. No, it senses dencity in percent, so in the block programing it can show up as light level or sound level. It is the blue thing in the back of the first robot. They also alow you to do ANYTHING in exhibition, they encourage you to think out side the box and use other things. We also wanted to impress the judges by using chips and not using already pre made sensors.
  7. Thanks, i will also be updating as my team moves on... I also started this project in november 2012. We were thinking this way because you can save a TON of money by doing this, and you can be nice to our local garbage men
  8. Hello all, This year i am competing in the 2013 robofest competition, as this is my first year, we were really new to robofest and how it worked, apart from one kid (the one in the video). My team's name is Metal Robots and i am competing in the junior exhibition competition. As of today my team won first place in school competition of the 3 teams (originally 9 but 6 dropped out), so my team is moving on to state competition! anyways, here is the video. NOTE: the person in the video is not me but one of my teammates. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lq5A-QwR0xY Thanks for viewing! EDIT here a picture of me and my teammates winning the school competition! I'm the shortest one there it is also at my school. EDIT sorry about the video, my friend some how delted it, ill try to fix it as soon as possible.
  9. Im thinking that those technic beams probably have the ball socket at the ends, because i have those too.
  10. WOW! All those pin ball machines, how much are your power bills?
  11. I like the new ideal as i do not have any of those parts either, but one could still buy it from bricklink.
  12. Yeah, i think this should just be locked.
