Great review Legoking! But I already said that in the Academy I think... Now I can finaly give you a (I wasn't allowed in the Academy since I am no teacher)

Must fully agree with this statement and more: if TLC wanted to produce Star Trek, they would have bought the license, they have a lot more capital then Megablocks, so they could easily have outbid them on that... And if they would release it now, they would have to competite with Megablocks (aside from with the SW line)as well, since I am pretty convinced Megablocks bought a multiple-year license. PS: I am not against Star Trek, I even love it! Just posting my opinion here .

I think our dear Mr. Thomas B. is starting to show some ..*ahum* "unhealthy love" towards Hinckley...

Looks fine indeed. But if I somewhere read "Death Star" I expect to see a huge scene/MOC, not that yours is that small, but is it still onder construction or is it ready? (since you posted "spoilers")If not yet ready I would add some more or larger rooms. Just a suggestion though, it looks good as it is. from me.

??? I don't know if that use of grammar would be better...? (Yes, I know my English isn't the best either... ) To all: And why does one HAVE to add blood all the time, just because someone posted a message he wanted to see blood, torture,...?(I think Bonaparte, who deserves our respect but who isn't a God we should blindly follow. IMHO he didn't even intend it this way), please people: read the rules! and leave the builders that didn't add (enough) blood in your piraty opinions alone ! IMHO: "add more blood!" is not "constructive critic" if the MOC doesn't contain killing or any (recent)corpses... From the rules:Looting, robbing, smuggling and plundering are the hobbies of every healthy pirate. This contest explores the nefarious side of the LEGO System pirate's life, so your mission is to show us the less glamorous aspect of their daily activities in the Classic setting created by the original line.

Yes, we have seen that before, although I never bought Lego on Woolsworth (I find their starting prices sometimes high, only their supersales like this appeal me) Great find, Buttons !
-
And a HB from zorro3999 as well! I wish you both loads of Lego, money and eternel love.

But because of the booz in his vains, that bite was neutralised: Zorro looked at Greenpie and said: "I watch your back, NOW YOU WATCH MINE !!!" Now the second and larger group of Zombies surrounded them, Dennimator said to Zorro: "you take the front line, you are the best swordsman"! Zorro responded: "I'm just a nut in a cape! Take them down with that high-tech lasersword of yours!" Dennimator looked at GreenHair: "I'm just a freakin' pie, do it yourself!" and Dennimator had to admit: "actually, this is just a 3$ toysword..." Hinckley, with his renewed and enlightened hearth said: "then there is no other way then to sacrifice myself...I will take up he bucket and clear the path for you, my beloved children... Dennimator: "let the force be with you!" Zorro: "Let you carry the sword of justice!" Greenpie: "Let the holy strawberry-cream fill you!" And the brave Hinckley charged... (sorry for the long lines: let myself go)

That is your godgiven right off course, but remember the other 2 prizes for this category are also awesome! Well done for a first one!

...after our heroes killed the first load of zombies, they all wanted a drink and asked Zorro (who carried the beer) for a shot of Booz...but it seemed Zorro had accidently "lost" the booz, since all he carried were emptie beercans..."Me no have it donn", shouted Zorro!", "Zorro never drink if he fight! Kinkcly done it!", said the clearly drunken swordmaster.. Dennimator then said: "yeah...what genius gave him the booz", looking angry to the Greenpie..."luckily I always carry my bottle of Johny Walker! Who wants some?" "Me-hik", "NO! YOU HAD ENOUGH for today!" And after having their drink they awaited the second Zombie load...

I have lots of these silver breastplates, and they are very expensive now on Bricklink: I am paying an average of 4 USD per piece now...those who have them, hang on to them (or send/sell them to me if ya live in Europe ...) Great review!
-
I get a "no creations found" warning message when opening your link... how long does getting approval take?
-
and then the both of them got out to go hunt some Zombie megablocks. The "dynamic duo" first sought out some help, ressurecting Zorro with Bonapartes magical powers, offering him a beer as well (actually al beers, to carrie them for them), hero-time is on now...time to get to the final battle of this story!....
-
Wow, that's just impressive...thanks for the pictures, I especcialy liked the Imperial battleship a lot. I hope to see more pics of you guys next year! And congratulations with your TWO awards!
-
The Greenpie stood before Bonaparte with a look in his eyes only a demon could have...then he attacted Bonaparte but he was too slow, Bonaparte.....
-
Aren't there pics of all these sets in another thread? I have seen at least most of them, I think. Too bad i'm from Belgium...
-
I love these spaceships from Blacktron (II), and they were my brothers favorite too, when he was young, now he doesn'l like Lego anymore for some stupid and unknown reason . Thanks for the good review and it's nice pics, CP5670, hope to see more from you soon!
-
I own several of these and of the seperate roadplates, they ware fairly priced and great to build your town/city on. Great review BTW!
-
I just adore them! I hope to see them soon in the warehouses, but that unfortunatly will be idle hope...normally seen I'm not a big fan of minisets, but that is except for these and the minis from SW created by I-don't-remember-who...

Nice..."introduction"....welcome to the community! Certain that you aren't an assasin?
-
Welcome to the EB community, Legoman31, nice to hear you already have a Flickr account with some pics.
-
Congratulations Dj2005, I never have any luck in raffles it seems...well, it's only my first one on EB here, so maybe luck will change...
-
Looks good, Brick Soldier, although you used standard faces...But it looks more that you made something that TLC could release in a set, so the standard faces are alright
-
Looks very good now with your newest improvements, don't see what more you can do since you already responded to our suggestions.

Nice find Captain Zuloo, this is truly a masterpiece, the hull is well done although I ask myself why he did do this for such a small/mediumsized ship, didn't he have hullpieces or is it just to do something special?
