I went to the stores once on a vacation/ roadtrip through the US when it was the second Thanksgiving day, but as said there were such large crowds we got back in the car and left. In a smaller village down the road be could buy a large box of Swiss Chocolate for a discounted price...was kinda fun, but we don't celebrate it in Belgium (duh...)

they look very good Sandy, especcialy the first two, building that third one seems to be very hard with lego parts...maybe that crocman from batman could be used for his scin...

English is good to me, in europe most people DO speak French and probably German as well, but that doesn't go up for the Americans, Aussies, Canadians, Asians....and we want to be one happy and international community don't we? I know it says EURObricks, but read the reminder section and you see it is called an international community and I don't think they are just referring to the European countries.

Some of my pirate minifigs have cracks in them too, I think it comes from not storing them properly. Now I store them in seperate boxes away from the bricks and since then no more cracks apperead. But you should post a pic iof them indeed, so we can see what could be the reason for your cracks, and if they looks like my cracked minifigs or not...just an idea...

Superset and superreview. I really like this set, my nephew bought 4!!! of them, just as an army builder and to have some artillery. He said he only paid 7.69 per set, since they were in discount. Seems they are in discount everywhere, overproduced??? I mean 7,69 is REALLY cheap...

IMHO they are well made and looking smooth too (in regard to the possibilities that is)

My opinion: looks very good Pe668 I really like what you've done with it and the theme of PTV is followed. A very good contest entry indeed! Possible improvements: 1) Maybe you could put more gold on the floor. 2) A few things against that "wall" (moss, spiders,...) could add to the color palet. 3) The chairs in the sloop, are they necessary? Maybe a few other things would look better, like their weapons or something.

I don't think I pissed off Greenhair. I just never leave an open chanche to bug him unchalenged, as I said before I was just fooling around, just as he likes to do. I don't know why, but it is in our Belgian nature to bug Dutchies, just as the people of the Netherlands like to bug Belgians...we are born with that feeling...Bonaparte must understand that... Greenhair....did I really piss you off? (oh, he is so going to say yes now... ...just to bug me again ) Please don't keep saying I pissed someone off, that is totaly against my nature.

Sorry Green Hair and some others, but I really dislike the new ship, I never used "bad words" on this forum before except in my other post about this ship) but I must do so now if I want to be true to myself: I think this new ship looks like S**T (yes, I used stars...I don't want to be banned/enchambered you know ) This new line is for the younger fans and while there is nothing wrong with that, I do pity the fact that even then the boat looks a bit simple. I hope that, at some point, a BETTER ship then the BSB or SES will be released, but I am afraid it won't be for the near future. I hope the EB forum will continue to grow, especcialy the Pirates section and Classic-Pirates, so TLC will be forced to listen to our opinions in some way... Why did I say that I think the new ship looks like that what I typed above?? Well, I could say: "The ship could be better", but that wouldn't be my entire opinion, and you never know someone of TLC reads our opinions, and I don't want them to think everyone likes it and that they have to continue this line/way of engineering their new sets. There is also another feeling present in me: namely the feeling that I am not alone with these thoughts, and that they are MANY others that are just so dissapointed with the looks of (some) of the new Pirate sets. But maybe they are "sparing" TLC, or hoping the next line WILL be overwhelming. I am hoping so!

Good looking vehicles, I especialy like the fire engine, just because of the loads of equipment you gave it. Now a MOC of the firestation, that would be nice to have.
