Nice review , especcially for a first one, and about such a large set...very good indeed! And I think it would be good to join the Academy, you really seem to have the skills required.
-
I'm happy to see you joined the EB community, your MOCs are so great !
-
Looks good , but could be a bit more realistic as said, I hope you will have more bricks soon!
-
Please feel welcome to our (not so)little and happy community, I hope to see some of your MOCs/sets soon.

My opinion: Yes, I advise you make some improvements since it does seem a bit empty. I like the concept though and I am very happy to see you entering the PTV competition! Possible improvements: 1) Make a blue "background" by placing blue bricks on the backside of the MOC (the back of the side which you use to take the pics. 2) Why does the head smile? I wouldn't smile if I got seperated from the rest of my body...maybe a sceleton head migh be appropriate too? 3) I also agree with Erdbeereis1' points. Just wanted to let you know that... 4) A red crab that claws on the face?

Your vignette looks super! And the backgound you chose fits right in (box of a snake or somethign??)
-
That is so awesome! You have plenty of "gore-bricks" and spiders and stuff... What kind of drug/med are you on , having those kind of things in your imagination? Good job !

Looks good for such a quickly build. Poor knight...taking it up against such a mechanised androïd-tripod with only a little sword at his disposal

Don't really know you, but I saw some of your older posts, so welcome back I guess

Dutch VOC ship the Prins Willim, minifig scale!
Zorro replied to Captain Green Hair's topic in Pirate MOCs
Yes, you really have outdone yourself this time I thought you were in that kind of stuff? -
...and then the door was blown wide apart...a small minifig was standing in the doorhole...it looked like a Santa Claus with a blaster...
-
Looks good...in Belgium there is a gnome people can take on their holiday trips, the only thing we have to do is take a pic of the gnome with something local. How much did your minifig had to pay for its trip?

Mmmm...nice tutorial Captain Zuloo, I always did wonder how it was done. This could het me started, I am maybe going to make a short Lego Pirates movie myself, but first I must graduate from the Academy, which will take some time (currently taking more and better pics of the SES) I will add it to my project pile though. Thanks for the information and the tutorial!

I love reboots as long as they are close to the original. The new Pirates look like S**T (IMHO), and yes, I am truly sorry to say this, it hurts my hearth... the new sets don't even come to the older set' toes . Only the impulse packs are neat, because they are great army builders . The Agents theme is as good or even better then Alpha team, so that is IMO a job well done. Same goes for Castle.

Okay, weird I didn't see any pics of that ship before...I believe it is also called a "Super Star Destroyer", one of Darth Vaders personal ships. Oh-there is a Wookipidea link...YES it's Vaders flagship ( 300.000 crew + 38.000 troops!) Wookipedia is so useful in these circumstances . Let the force be with the finder of these pics as well as with the builder of this unbelievable MOC !

They could be used in a James Bond Lego set as well . Yes, they are cool and the fans must have their "Shangai chase" .
-
They better produce these battlepacks in very large quantities...I think they might even press down the Bricklink prizes for those minifigs. I will buy one of each battlepack, together with some new pirates and the medieval market . I still have plenty of time to save...

Hinkley asks him "where are the fabuland minifigs I told you to steal?" and the frog says:....

The yellow mini-plane is very nice and the Green car has well...a weird greeny color...is it Captain Green Hairs car? The small hummer is cool too!
-
I own everything of Black Sabbat too, but my favorite collection is my bruce Springsteen collection: Born in the U.S.A. was my first cd. And even while at this age I am not a huge fan of him anymore, I still listen to that album for good times sake...
-
...and says to Sinner: Hinkley told me to steal your Fabuland Collection and your blue bucket" "Can I please have them?" Sinner responds by.... PS: zombiefrogs are not that bright...

The Bluecoats are getting really expensive too I notice. Maybe because the new Pirate line only has redcoats? I might make a bid on the large army (first pics), but it will probably end up at 3 Pounds per soldier or more....

Well, this is even better now with the newest updates you made . I think this is frontpage stuff...did you index it? (with the newest update I mean)
