I have no problems at all with Win 10 pro 64 2004. What does the error message say?

Hi, I have no problems. How do you connect the Hub, handheld or SmartDevice? Is connection ok? Do you have another motor? Or the chance to use a battery and some or a tester to check the motor?

Yes, and why shouldn't that all happen with Spike/mindstorms as well? -

The Spike hub is running micro-Python and BT, the powered up hubs don't have python and use BLE. You can use pyBricks and run your developement on any device under Chrome for the PoweredUp Hubs -

Only the copying via file system is Android only, you should use LEGO LIFE instead. -
Powered up vs. Mindstorms EV3
Lok24 replied to HectorMB's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
There a two ways, and both are very simple. As I wrote above, you can easily use LEGO LIFE to share programs between users. Yes. Its just copying a folder with text-files. The path where you find it is: this Computer/tabletname/Tablet/Android/data/com.lego.common.poweredup/files/Activities Simply copy it from one device to another. But: Android only, no iOS -
Powered up vs. Mindstorms EV3
Lok24 replied to HectorMB's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hi, there is no "EV4". It is called "Mindstorms Robot Inventor", and you'll find it here. https://www.lego.com/en-us/aboutus/news/2020/june/lego-mindstorms-robot-inventor/ And the hardware is same as in the Spike Prime Set. Programming is Scratch or Python, for both. Spike is the Education set, Robot Inventor in the standard program -
Powered up vs. Mindstorms EV3
Lok24 replied to HectorMB's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hi, with PU you can share programs with others via LEGO LIFE. From what you get from LEGO the main difference is the programming languages. Only mindstorms/Spike offer complex programming languages and help/description for the functions. -
2020 Mindstorms set

Thanks, that should be very useful. As you wrote: "Depending on your requirements. " To me there are many things with Spike I don't like: - no way to load a second battery outside the hub, so when charging you cant use your models when they moving around - selection of programs only by numbers, not by names (chosing the wrong one could damage your model) - end of life when no new batteries (replcement for old ones) are provided by LEGO - no linear motors I'll stay tuned..... -

Hi, get in contact with the customer service, you'll get a service ID and can send them the motors -
Hi all, just finished my first tests with the M5stack ATOM Matrix and the legoino library. A little program is installed to connect a hub and a remote control, you can choose between two profiles how they shold act. Profile 1 is like the app or remote with a train hub. Here is a little video (1:34), have fun!

Powered Up and Arduino
Lok24 replied to Lok24's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hi, yes it works! I just did some testing, but compiling with arduino IDE is very very slow, even a program with only a dozen of lines withtuout any includes takes half a minute, the leguino exaples a minute or more, upload of course depends on size of program. So for testing and developing purposes this is very hard. That's not what I expected. Can I improve this? -
Hi, put the value for the speed in a variable, then use a motor block with that variable as input, and a second, where you multiply this value by -1

Most info except "common name" can be found on the shop sites or LEGO replacement parts, for your country ;-) it would be https://www.lego.com/de-at/service/replacementparts Enter a setnumber where you expect the parts.....i.E 42114 or 45678
