    GoH is the best thing for improving your skill- helpful pointers along the way. I came from using pre fab wall pieces and BURPs to where I am now- I've still a long way to go, but each MOC is seeing me improve, and try new things.

    I've used both in the past- it depends what torsos I want to use mainly, but default is yellow. I never mix in builds, because I find it looks weird, but that's just my opinion.

    Note that many GoH-ers have personal heraldry (such as the blue/white/black of the Falcons) and still fly guild colours on their standards. Blue and red are Kaliphlin, so add a sprinkle of red and you have ready made troops- they're probably the easiest. Although, you probably should join the best guild, Nocturnus.
