  1. I've also got a tavern related build- a quick vignette with how I'd imagined Master Gabbold stood in the tavern- I wasn't sure of the best place to put this? Or even if I'm stepping on other people toes?
  2. Nice little build! I like the hidden Avalonian Elite Rangers!
  3. [seven. It took someone of great power to command the shades to continue to attack a single person. Perhaps this "Hunter" knew more than he was letting on.] "Vladivus": "Perhaps I can be of aid. May I see that rag? Fear not. As a half-vampire I am immune to it's poison. At least, as long as I don't... Never mind, the rag?."
  4. [An interesting turn of events indeed. Shades like this were all too common in Nocturnus and Vladivus was interested to see his drinking companion rising as he did.] "Vladivus": "Prey, Hunter?." [Vladivus drained his drink in one swift movement and motioned to the barman for a refill, and leant back in his chair.]
  5. Cheers guys. I didn't want to distract from the fight- the main focus, given the Warlord theme, and also, I didn't wanted to clutter it too much- the square is likely pretty small. And yes, Nocturnians deal with assassinations and murder on a daily basis so they don't tend to pay much attention to it- sticking your neck out could make you the next target!
  6. Cheers guys. I do agree about the trees/swamp fauna. I need to invest in some more foliage so that I can a) make multiples and b) stop them looking scraggly. I can't seem to find my brown frames either, but I did include dark green in the tower to stop it looking too out of place but it doesn't seem to be too visible (covered by the tiles mostly I think). I'm building another tower, which I'm hoping will work better than this one- onwards and upwards!
  7. I realised. Mine was more sarcasm! The condensing comes from writing reports for university- I had to learn to sum them up in a paragraph.
  8. Love the water- it seems really choppy! Boat is great too- love the anchor!
  9. Excellent build! That landscape is fantastic- love the angles!
  10. Thanks guys! @Emma, there were more of those squares- it was supposed to evoke more of a broken pavement effect, but most of them got hidden!
  11. [Vladivus briefly glances at the mage. Natolyth. Vladivus had heard tales of this one. He returned his attention to the Traveller.] Vladivus: "Few humans have the courage to drink it. I think no less of thee. Hunter then. An apt name I trust? What do thee hunt? For myself, it is the Drow, and those beings who serve the Black Spire." [Vladivus' gaze is drawn once again to the Mage. What of his powers? Perhaps he could be of help? Only time would tell.]
  12. The tavern- is it ok for us to interact with Gabold on our first post like myself, Dragonfire and Rogueang have already done- it makes sense to me, I like the realism.
  13. [Vladivus regards the newcomer with interest, his pale face inscrutable to all others. Perhaps this stranger can help with his mission.] Vladivus: "Greetings, ye are not mistaken, but I must have missed thy name. My business is my own unless thee care to reveal thy name. I must admit however, that the hiding of your name is prudent, for names give great power to those in the know." [To the stranger,Vladivus offers his goblet, inlaid with what seem like rubies, although they glow with a fire quite unlike anything natural. The liquid within is cloying and sticky, and the scent of warm iron permeates the Traveller's nostrils.] Vladivus: "Care for some blood wine, man of many names?"
  14. Nice! Interesting technique for the tree!
  15. Great work! There's so much detail! Have you thought about joining Guilds of Historica?
  16. [A pale warrior swathed in a grey cloak passes through the door. The shadows seem reluctant to relinquish him, but he throws aside his cloak and reveals fine, if travel stained clothing of a deep red, inlaid with gold. Upon his head is a shock of brown hair, and at his side a round shield and a fell sword hang. When he speaks it evokes the cold wet dirt of a graveyard, but there is power and nobility there.] Pale warrior: "Hail and well met barkeep. I am Vladivus of Nocturnus. I have heard tales of your blood wine, and I wish for a goblet before I continue my journey to aid Avalonia against the accursed Drow." Master Gabbold: "Certainly. Not too many Nocturnians frequent here normally, it is, er, refreshing to see a new face." Vladivus: "My thanks Barkeep." [Vladivus nods in the direction of Rodimus] "Greetings traveller."
  17. Not only is the build fantastic, but the story is superb as well! This collab is turning up awesomeness after awesomeness!
  18. That's cool! Love the colour scheme- unusual and striking!
  19. Great Naval Arms Race. Basically Mitgardia and Kaliphlin got into an insult hurling match and there were pirates and now all the guilds have a contest to build boats/ships.
  20. Beautiful! So much I love about this MOC! Funny seeing you building in Avalonia! Great job!
  21. Great update! The ship is looking fantastic!
  22. Haha I suppose I will! Only a couple more days! ;)
  23. Phase 2 and Phase 3 Warlords builds up! Does this mean I get the title now! :P
