  1. @mpoh98 Cheers! @fhomess A friend actually gave me the idea- it doesn't work so well with other beard pieces though.
  2. Cheers Cap! I envisage travellers just walking past without actually realising that it's a dwelling- the whole idea behind the Swamp people is they're isolationists, even from each other, and don't really want to be found. It's a brick built squirrel type creature. More of an experiment than anything! I did a bird in my last couple of MOCs, so I thought I'd do a different animal!
  3. Nocturnus Tribes entry is up.
  4. Nocturnus Tribes entry is up.
  5. "This particular tribe are named the Shkcklyk in their own tongue. Their species are more commonly referred to by the denizens of Historica as "Swamp People". Researchers from the University of Petrea have designated their species as Homo Swampius. They are distantly related to humans, and it is thought that they represent a divergent evolution millenia ago. Their diet is one of mainly fish, although, their digestive system can handle tough roots, and other meats. They live in the Moruth Swamps, and their dwellings are often hard to spot, as they utilise nature to it's fullest extent, using dank, dark caves. They rarely gather together, being predominantly solitary, and as such, there are no villages to come across, simply single houses. However, in times of peril, the tribe gathers together, and it is rumoured that the swamps themselves come alive at their command, and travellers and enemies alike vanish in the thick cloying liquid mud that makes up much of the Moruth Swamps. Despite their nature, they form a vital part of the swamp ecosystem, as they herd many of the dangerous creatures away from the few trade routes through the Swamp, a fact that the local Lords and Tyrants often fail to recognise." This is my first (possibly only, I have a couple of other ideas, need to see if I can do them justice) entry for the Nocturnus Tribes. C+C welcome!
  6. Our pies have infiltrated every guild thread. Ha. Nocturnus will reign supreme!
  7. I was contemplating going to see this, the fact that it's a EB member has settled it. Congrats on the achievement dude!

It looks good. What's it taste like?
  9. Damn, those Drow look strong! Epic buildings! @CBB, thanks for the tip, gonna try that!
  10. @NM Wish I was American. Having said that, my local store has the small raven set on sale, so I'll probably pick up a few of that (it's about £4 if i recall correctly).
  11. I am actually speechless. This is awesome!
  12. Ah looking good CBB. Can't wait to see the finished product!
  13. This is great! Nice figs, and great way to represent all of the varying guilds in one MOC!
  14. Both. I mean, have a pie, it's completely safe!
  15. We're wolves disguised as grannies. Who make really good enchanted pumpkin pie.
  16. Cheers CBB! I'm looking forward to making more MOCs, and some Nocturnus MOCs from yourself!
  17. Love it, nice use of the Wampa! There's great fig posing- your sigfig has amazing dynamism!
  18. I THINK that's only for book 1 though. There may be something different at the end of book 2.

Archery, airsoft, clay pigeon shooting, rally driving, wilderness survival, Warhammer (and 40k), music, chasing the perfect cup of tea, wine tasting, ale tasting, cider tasting, guitar, mountain biking, bouldering, Kung Fu (black belt), anything Star Wars related, anything DC or Marvel related, the list goes ever on. I make myself sound way more manly than I actually am. ;)
  20. I love the brickwork on the tower! Nice story too!
  21. @CBB that's an epic fig. If I wasn't on your side, I'd be scared. Maybe I should be anyway? Haha!
  22. Nice build, it looks exactly like I expect a ruin in the desert to look like. Re the fabric, I actually had to squint to see the pattern (for reference, I'm on an iPad2 screen).
  23. I forgot that titbit. Haven't been teaching there for a couple of months. I saw a render of it in white once, it did look impressive. I might have walked past you with a gaggle of unruly kids in tow. I second visiting it, incredible history, and a variety of building styles.
  24. Heh, you'll never see me coming. Mwahahahahahaha.
  25. Pretty sure we do. Now to buy every skull on bricklink.
