  1. Thanks DG! Hopefully there will be more Nocty activity with the advent of Book 2!
  2. Nice story, I especially like the Red Inn, and nice stonework in general!
  3. Looking forward to seeing it finished DG!
  4. It's funny how a lot of Nocturnians are human- I suppose it's easier to identify with a human? Personally, I only have one human as part of my army, my Necromancer. I definitely think that the Swamp People need representing- that's my next project now I'm done with my Zombie Village (I just have to photograph my last MOC, and put the pictures up. Unfortunately that's going to have to wait a couple of days, my internets down, so I'm having to use my mobile broadband.). I just need a few more ideas for Swamp People dwellings.
  5. @Legonardo that shield is a thing of beauty!
  6. I love the expression in Merith's face in that last picture. Great story!
  7. This ties into what I'm currently working on- a series of MOCs showing a zombie village. It's faintly cosmopolitan though, there's a Night Elf, Orc and Grelf in the builds I've done so far. Plus the Werewolf guards. But still, I think it's a great idea!
  8. I like the fact the muted colour scheme evokes dustiness! I do agree with SK about the tree- perhaps swapping the brown arch and the bley tree around so it's a bley arch and a brown tree?
  9. Hands down my favourite forest men build I've seen.
  10. Aye that you have. I prefer to work in the shadows anyway.
  11. Thanks SK, the scroll idea was pilfered from somewhere else, I can't remember who! The plates for those stairs are a godsend!
  12. Cheers! There's actually two towers connected by half arches haha. Ones at the front so you can't see it!
  13. Sadly, it doesn't take much! I yearn for my brethren. I suppose they're all hiding in their holes. Actually, now would be a good time to take control of Nocturnus. No resistance... Mwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
  14. I'm nearly done with my next MOC (well 2 actually!) and one of them is a continuation of this story as such. I might make this a sort of series of MOCs, showing village life in Nocturnus. Ooooo ideas...
  15. Thanks. The interior was actually supposed to be a stand-alone vig, but ended up in this instead!
  16. Cheers! The tree went through many incarnations till I was faintly satisfied. I still want to improve it, it's hard coming up with a tree that looks swampy enough! But, I'm planning more swampy shenanigans, so I have time to practice!
  17. Amazing, I like how both the corridors, despite being, well corridors, both have their own subtle identity!
  18. Luckily most of my troops are undead, so I can raise 'em right back up again, otherwise I'd be crushed. Nice armies dude!
  19. @ZC Hopefully should some more forthcoming- I am after all based in the Moruth Swamps! Thanks Damaximus and Hyler!
  20. This is one of my favourite SoNE builds yet. It's a natural continuation of your first build! Brilliant!
  21. That first picture is brilliant, the atmosphere it gives off really feels like cloud city!
  22. I love it, a nice industrial feel!
  23. Sorry to double post, free build up: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=86080
  24. Hot on the heels of my my Shadowmere microbuild (http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=86052) comes a minifig scale build! "Deep in the Moruth Swamp, near the citadel of Shadowmere lie several villages. These villages are watched over by warriors of various races, such as Cyclops, Minotaurs, Orcs, and here, Werewolves. Being in the middle of the swamp, the guardsmen are often underequipped, and armour is usually only afforded to those in charge. Here, General Fenrir Bloodcloak visits a village to inspect his werewolf troops. An Orcish farmer collects vegetables from a patch of earth that is less barren than much of the surrounding area, whilst a werewolf eyes up a tasty bird- dinner is served! All the while, a watch-wolf on top of the tower watches for approaching enemies (there's been quite a few Avalonians pass this way, we helped them, er become not lost )." A few other views: The tower's small (impractical) interior: And the build, sans minifigs: Cheers for looking, c+c welcome! (I apologise for the poor photography, i don't have my set up optimised yet, (this is just sheets of paper haha!) and my camera is being borrowed, so my iPhone is standing in!)
  25. The atmosphere in this is fantastic. Nice to see Nocturnus getting some love!
