I was guessing a fountain perhaps?

Aye, he looks nice and brutal! Great combination of parts!
-
I can see them fine now. I couldn't earlier though.

He has, end of last month? I remember welcoming him I believe.

Nice build, I like the dummy. I agree about the barrel blocking the view of the child.

AoM Tower Phase One - A Foolish Outpost
Lord Vladivus replied to Jodocus's topic in Guilds of Historica
This is awesome! You never fail to make me laugh! I like the ramshackle look of the outpost. Nice tree as well! -
I could see the pics just now, but my browser auto-refreshed and now I can't? Anyway, from what I saw, I love the brown roof on the smaller building/house, and that's a clever use of the brick bricks as shutters! I like the crenellations too. This is possibly my favourite of your MOCs! Great colours and techniques all round!

Paid Membership with perks? Any interest?
Lord Vladivus replied to Siegfried's topic in Forum Information and Help
I'd be happy to make a donation, via pay-pal. But I'm personally not in a position to make it a regular thing, but I would definitely do it when I could. This site is great, and I'd like to see it continue. As others have said, I don't really notice the ads. -
Spooky! I like the story. Would fit well in Nocty!

Whoa, this is amazing! Nice use of the LOTR figs! -
Nice house! Poor Avalonian. They do make plenty of mistakes! Only thing bugging me is the green plate not being pushed down, and lack of a border.

It started as a plural subjective form, but around the 13th century, it became used as a singular (equivalent to "thou"), and during the 15th century, became used as an objective singular and plural form, whilst "you" became the dominant subjective form. So it does work fine, just not in the original usage of the word. Edit: note, Sigolf is correct in his portrayal of its occurrence, but it is accepted as an (uncommon) replacement for "the" in more recent times.

That's awesome LD! -
I agree, I love the use of the burnt orange! Nice use of a limited palette of colours, it really makes it pop!

I frequent a lot of forums, and most of them have pushed me away because of the inane behaviour, but Eurobricks (and especially GoH itself) is a great community.

This is shaping up way better than my official Lego Star Wars one, can't wait to see the rest!

Great MOC Z! I love those shutters!
-
I love your MOCs- the old school stylings, and the stories make me laugh very time! A true jester!

AoM : Town / house / hut (A typical Clan lands hut)
Lord Vladivus replied to Gunman's topic in Guilds of Historica
Awesome build, love the hut, that's some crazy building. -
Well, I like the torso on its own. Not so much the whole fig. Something seems off.

The Story of Vladivus, Lord of Shadowmere, Epilogue.
Lord Vladivus replied to Lord Vladivus's topic in Guilds of Historica
Cheers! I sort of realised that I could hook people with the writing- I'm still learning techniques and build composition, but story is one thing I can do. It helps being an avid reader. Reading is a lost art with today's youth, but I try to encourage it where I can (sorry off on a tangent!).- 16 replies
