  1. I have built this set lately and I am very pleased with result. I've made a comparison photo with my tow plow, and 42098 is even bigger that I expected:
  2. It does not work that way. Show the pictures and we could at least try to say if this will be able to stand.
  3. Will it stand when built from real bricks?
  4. I was driving heavilly modified Defender lately and this SUVy thing does not look like an vehicle capable to go offroad :(
  5. I'd go for single diameter of the top bar. Now you have brick and bar diameter at one time.
  6. He's using 81.6 tires, not 94mm :)
  7. Have you considered using Tires 94.3 x 38 R?
  8. So basically you are going to make this?
  9. Actually only core part of the chassis is the same. We did that on purpose, because we want to make some machines for both NH and Fendt tractor in the future, and having them standarized will make it much easier. I am going to make a conversion module for the plough for 42054 set, but first I will have to figure out how to make PTO working in both directions. The plow can be built with using 4L bars instead of machettes: Basically it can hold anything that have bar end, which allows for something like this...
  10. Situtation was different. PF was something really new, a remote control finaly came to LEGO Technic. Only thing that bothered people fro years was usage of IR, instead of BT. Control + offers that BT connection, but also adds some more functions, found only in Mindstorms. My problem with those parts is that new motors will come with lots of unneeded functions, like telemetry. And I do not need a motor that can work as a servo, showing me how many times it turned, and being much more pricey (that's a prediction after comparing PUp prices with PF), when only thing I need is pure torque from XL motor.
  11. Flickr and/or Bricksafe is something you need.
  12. Except that Corvette is using same wheels, wheel arches, it's probably in the same scale and it is mendtioned in the catalogue. But who knows, maybe it is just a coincidence :))
  13. Check instructions for the Architecture 21039: Shanghai set. Especially how Shanghai Center was attached to the baseplate. Mate, lay off this guy.
  14. Great model! I was going to make a telehandler from this set too, now I do not have to :)
  15. I have commented twice, first on Mine Loader made from Arocs: Second one on 8264 made from Arocs: Both of these comments point some things that I do not like on those models. And as far as I rememeber it is still legal here, right? :))
  16. Uhm, what? B model could be much more playable with pneumatically raised towing arm.
