Location: F09 Arium Minor Tags: Exploration, Land Vehicle Mission Log: Entry 21 ~ It was time to bring out the big guns, as Agent Kytes put it. We chained our captive mutant to one of the troopers assigned to our squad, and set off in hot pursuit, with it as our "guide". HQ assigned us to a Kawashita Armoured Troop Transport (KATT). Akiko, who is an excellent shot, took the gunner's position atop the vehicle, while everyone else piled into the back. After a short distance, Ekira (who was driving) caught sight of what appeared to be some sort of alien concealed in the sand. I got out to investigate... As we set off again, Akiko hailed me from her vantage point, saying that she could glimpse smoke on the horizon. I sensed that, for good or ill, our planet-wide quest was about to conclude... That was when the world began to whirl and spin around me and a weird purple light filled my entire vision. Then nothing. The KATT C & C welcome. Apologies for the picture-heaviness

Great mech, and I know you put a lot of time into it! The hands and neck area are especially well done IMO and the flight mechanism gives a ladybird vibe somehow Great job

From the writings of Trystane Adeus It was a dark night; shadows hung over the besieged, beleaguered town of Cresthaven. The lonely moon's rays fell upon a tree growing out of the Cresthaven walls. A dark figure wearing a red uniform, moustache clearly visible, was lying along one of the tree's broad branches... Fitzwilliam was surprised nobody had come to investigate his "suicide" or inspect his body. He guessed that they, like him, were becoming sick of the whole cycle of deaths and suffering that had gripped the village. He was pondering over when to make his escape when he saw a flickering light below the tree and looked down to see Sergeant Radford standing there, torch in hand. The sergeant's face was grim, "I thought I might find you here. We searched your possessions last night and found your diary... made some interesting reading, I can tell you that. Either way, I know you're not with the Assassins, so I'm not going to kill you. But you can't come back to Cresthaven. So..." As the sergeant spoke, Fitzwilliam caught sight of a slight movement behind Radford's back... the Assassins had returned to kill again. Fitzwilliam spoke once, "I'm sorry." Radford peered quizzically at him, not comprehending what he was saying - then gave a grunt of pain and surprise as the Assassin's sword pierced his back. He collapsed without another sound. The hooded figure looked up at Fitzwilliam, and the renegade soldier felt an icy pang of fear in his heart. His own sword was trapped beneath his body; as he struggled to free it, the figure spoke, "You have done us a service by not warning your friend. Your life is yours to keep," and, with that, headed off towards the village, shedding its robes as it did to take on the guise of a townsperson. As soon as it had gone, Fitzwilliam leapt down from the tree, and with a nod of respect and guilt to his dead comrade, loped off into the woods, away from Cresthaven and everything that had transpired... Radford's body was discovered the next morning. For the first time since the killing had started, King Rustus himself spoke, "Fellow men and citizens of Cresthaven, last night we lost a dear friend and comrade. Sergeant Radford was loyal through and through, and he will be missed. General Avrel informs me that Fitzwilliam also spoke the truth - he was, as he claimed to be, an Independent. There are but five of you remaining, not counting the General, Adeus and myself. It is paramount that we find Drakensyne's partisans and destroy them before we all pay the price with our lives..." Kingdoms Mafia - Day Three
Dragonfire replied to Dragonfire's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
From the writings of Trystane Adeus The day ended somewhat morosely, with the seemingly loyal and steadfast soldier Fitzwilliam having been chosen by the mob. Fitzwilliam was not a fool; as soon as people began pointing fingers and yelling, "How do we know we can trust you - you're independent, you said it yourself!", he climbed up to the battlements surrounding Cresthaven and stood there, sword in hand, trembling slightly. The mob continued to shout for his blood, observed by the rather disgusted King Rustus and myself. As they yelled abuse at the mustachioed militiaman, he began edging ever closer to the wall itself.... Tired of the wait, Sergeant Radford, who had led the accusations against Fitzwilliam, elbowed Rath Skarbin, "Give me your crossbow; let's finish this," This did not go unnoticed by Fitzwilliam. He leapt onto the Cresthaven wall and yelled at his accusers, "I never wanted any part of this! You small-minded fools are going to die, every last one of you, over pointless conflict! I'm glad I'm on nobody's side!" With that, he seemed to stumble backwards and fell, his body twisting in the air, plunging off the battlements. General Avrel heaved a sigh, "It disappoints me to see such a seemingly loyal soldier desert his King and country by taking his own life. Let us look through his belongings to see what side he was really on..." -

I agree with jluck. We've "initiated" around five hopefuls over the past year without passing Mafia School, and you've already played a non-Mafia School game so I don't see why you shouldn't be allowed to participate. As jluck said, we need to get more people involved; hopefully, you'l be able to play in the next game if you want! -

Just for clarification, Felix not actually being killed is simply flavour and is not related to the game or its mechanics at all. -

Thanks for playing, KingoftheZempk and Lord Duvors! -
From the writings of Trystane Adeus. I was running. Running like I'd never run before. My heart pounding in my chest, my lungs burning with the exertion. The dark shadow of my pursuer was just behind me, hooded and caped, sword in hand. I was unarmed, helpless. My only hope was getting inside Cresthaven before it caught me.... ...but this was dashed to pieces as I tripped, stumbled and fell into a second hooded figure, armed with a halberd! With a savage laugh, the new figure yanked off her hood to reveal the beautiful but sneering face of Alanna Moreton! She extended a foot and kicked my prone form, "It's over, Adeus. Tonight, you die." But as she stood there, about to end my life, the original hooded figure stepped forward, "This wasn't part of the plan, Alanna. He's not meant to die tonight." This obviously infuriated Alanna, as she scowled and glared threateningly at the figure, "And who are you to order me around?" The second dark figure simply replied, "Alanna, you're a traitor to your own cause. And the Drakenguard Assassins don't tolerate treachery." Without warning, he or she stepped forward and plunged the sword into Alanna's body! Seeing my chance, I leapt up and sprinted for the cover of the woods, shocked and relieved at the same time. The next morning, we all gathered about Alanna's body. Glanred had donned a thick padded helmet to hide his baldness. It was fairly obvious, given her attire and the words she had spoken, that she was our second Drakenguard Assassin. While we were all together, General Avrel reported that Felix had not been recaptured, but had run in a different direction to the Drakenguard camp. It was safe to say that he had been Loyal all along.... But the hunt still continued.... I'm not sure how the game's going to eventually play out. Depending on which side gains the upper hand, Felix may or may not put in a reappearance. Or I could be messing with you and he won't reappear -
You're not really allowed to comment after the lynch scene has been posted, but since you asked, Felix is dead in the sense that KingoftheZempk is no longer playing the game, cannot post and will be treated exactly the same as the other three who have died. However, his character isn't dead and may return later (like mostlytechnic and CMP's characters in Second Crash Mafia). Hope this clears things up for you.

From the writings of Trystane Adeus We spent a lot of that day digging graves for our fallen, and placed their prized possessions beside them. We couldn't find anything of Mairn's, so we used the bottle he'd been drinking just before he died. He would've liked that.... This time, General Avrel was not prepared to risk any lives from a lynch mob scenario such as yesterday. He ordered the two remaining guards to hold back the angry villagers from their chosen target, Felix Anderson, the fisherman and aspiring warrior. Felix had refused to hand his spear over to the guards, knowing that it might be the only thing between him and death. He stood with his back to the wall, knowing that pleading his innocence was futile. As Sergeant Radford, the designated executioner, stepped forward to finish the job, Felix began to shuffle backwards, step by step.... Then suddenly, without warning, he hurled the spear. Everyone dived out of the way, and the spear stuck, quivering, in a mound of grass near the village walls. That split second of surprise had given Felix the chance he needed. Quick as lightning, he turned on his heel and sprinted into the woods; at once the guards gave chase. Rath Skarbin, crossbow in hand, climbed up to the battlements, but the thick leaves of the surrounding trees blocked his view of the fleeing Felix. But this day's worth of surprises were not over. Glanred, in his haste to pursue the chase, tripped over and fell just under the blade of the General's sword. Unable to stop himself, General Avrel brought the sword down.... ... and sheared off Glanred's hair! The ruffian sat up, dazed and suddenly cold; he was unable to comprehend why everyone was pointing and laughing at him. Then he saw his fine black curls lying by his feet, and let out a howl of rage. Never again would he frighten the villagers into submission. Now he was the local laughing stock... Get those night actions in!

Avalanche repeats, wincing at the pain in his arm. -
As host, I'd like to clarify that if the number of surviving Townies is equal to the number of surviving Drakenguard Assassins, then the Assassins will automatically win the game, as it has been the case for almost all previous games here. For numbers purposes, any Independent players will count as part of the Town in this case. Certainly. You have approximately 39 hours remaining. Vote Tally Glanred (Mencot) - 1 (mostlytechnic) Felix Anderson (KingoftheZempk) - 1 (Lady K)
