  1. I have a couple questions. I like the game mechanics, but even after reading through all the material twice I'm a little confused. If I'm starting out from the very beginning and want to build and register a Chinese Junk like this one, what do I need to do? And what would I need to do to make sure it falls under the "free" category? Also, if I want to build a 32x32 fort, what do I need to do? Does there have to be a 16x16 version of it first? And what's the best way to find a good strategic spot to build the fort? Lastly, if I do get a boat built, registered, and approved. How can I send it on a Bounty Seeker mission? Do I have to have at least 2 other players with me to go on a Bounty Seeker mission? And how soon could I go on this mission? I know partial answers to these questions, but I figured it be easier for someone to answer from the top since I'm sure others have the same questions
  2. Now that I actually have them, please transfer 30 credits to EpsilonEta.
  3. See the previous tales: Wyndor's Saga: Chapter 1 -What Has Past- Chapter 2 -What Has Past- Chapter 3 The Green Dragon Inn It had been weeks since Wyndor had left Dalig Ulv on a quest to find a way to find a way to stop the Algus. Pjeter had his hands full running the city now that he was short 2 council members. Though having Rothgar and the dwarves back was a huge help as they were busy in their mines, foundries, lumber yards, and other businesses around the city. In addition to bringing more life to Dalig Ulv, a group of the dwarves had begun work on bringing Treacleheim back to life. After decades of being abandoned, most of the buildings were unlivable but being of dwarven construction it didn’t take much to make them habitable again. It was at one of the buildings not set inside the mountain that the dwarves had turned into a city hall of sorts that Natolyth, Chalin, Mattimeo and Constance found Rothgar. He was there talking about the future of both Dalig Ulv and Treacleheim with Pjeter. “The last letter we received from Wyndor and Valanice said they were on their way to Kaliphlin,” started Natolyth. “They have had little luck in finding information on how to defeat the Algus besides dragon-forged weapons, which we already knew about.” “That is what we feared, and what the elves where hoping when they agreed to the terms,” began Rothgar, “but surely you didn’t come out here just to give us an update.” “No,” began Chalin, “we’ve been taking stock of our weapons to see if there are any dragon-forged blades in our armory and we have found none. We were wondering if there were any that had been found in Treacleheim during the restoration process?” “You are in luck!” replied Rothgar, “I happened across at least one blade just the other day. I can take you to it now. Unfortunately I haven’t heard of any other blades being discovered, but perhaps if there is one, there will be more!”
  4. Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for clarifying!
  5. I had them, then they disappeared from my signature. I checked the player roster and they were still there. They are the 30 credits from my last judged build from the 13th.
  6. Please transfer 30 credits to EpsilonEta.
  7. Having a good story to go with your builds is not required! Often times pictures can tell a thousand words, right? A good story usually helps compliment a build and can sometimes lead to a slightly higher XP score, but if you don't feel like you're good at story writing don't worry! We won't hold it against you at all
  8. Location: E11 Fascini Cluster Tags: None Last time, in Ender's story: A Space Saga Begins Is it Mine Mine? Okami Bike Kawashita Hummer Where Was I Supposed to Be? Spaceman Spiff Earlier... A natural at sales, pombe came to Dr. Long with a brilliant idea: You want to do what? It'll be the hotest item off the Octan production line! I guarentee I can get Kawashita alone to buy 5,000 units. And are you prepared to write all of the programs for the holodecks yourself? You're going to need a lot of body scans to create all the holo-characters you'll need. Not a problem. I'm going to pull the programs from Earth's media archives, and I have an extensive team ready to be the holo-models. Later that day... So here is the list of people I'll need you to portray. It's all historical characters like I requested right? Of course! Umm, don't you know that Little Mermaid is just a fairy tale? Nonsense Eshey, everyone knows mermaids are real. Now go change into your costume. Later... Ender was still recovering from his fights against the Emboians. He decided to take another turn on the holodeck. This time, he chose one of the timeline mashups in which he portrayed the villainous pirate, Black Hair. He had been captured by Zoid Blue-coats when a debonair pirate rushed in to save the day. Ender had noticed that the holodeck programs featured this character a lot, and always in heroic roles. He wondered why that was... (OoC: Please note that the holodeck scene was featured in my last build and should not be judged for this week)
  9. MM is there, he's just not very visible in the posted pictures. Here is a better one: As for the crane, it's supposed to be used by the dock workers to unload boats. I made it red to help add some color to the build.
  10. Glad to have all three of you on board! Windusky, I think I've already mentioned this to you before, so if I have then sorry for the repeat! Something to keep in mind is that your character for SoNE actually has to have the same name as your Eurobricks username. You can find that rule in the main rules section. I'll be adding you to the player roster with your correct name. Please change your signature generated name to the correct one also. To everyone, sorry for some of the delays in responding to everyone! I've been super busy with the holidays and haven't had much time to manage the forum. I'm working on updating the player index and hope to have freebuilds and BHMs sent to judging soon.
  11. Location: E11 Fascini Cluster Tags: Exploration Last time, in Ender's story: A Space Saga Begins Is it Mine Mine? Okami Bike Kawashita Hummer Where Was I Supposed to Be? After being buzzed, attacked, chased, and otherwise humiliated by a group of Emboians with advance technology; Ender was tired. He headed back to one of Kawashita's capital ships stationed in the Fascini Cluster to take a break. He met up with Jack who told him about a new piece of equipment that had become mandatory for all Kawashita cruisers to install. It was called a holodeck, and Kawashita had purchased a mass order from Octanmart and had been installing them over the past few weeks. The board had received complaints that Kawashita employees, in their allowed one-out-of-every-fifteen days off, had a hard time actually relaxing. They found that the holodeck allowed the employees to feel like they were relaxing more efficiently in the short time they had. That, and Octanmart had a very convincing sales person... Ender loaded up what was listed as a "classic" space adventure. Our hero, the intrepid Spaceman Spiff found himself stranded on a desolate planet... 24 hours later Ender was back to work, looking forward to his next holodeck session.
  12. Emboians First discovered by John Hannibal on G02 Freegate See Also: Ender on E11 Fascini Cluster Description: Native to Freegate. They fight against slavers and protect any who wish to escape slavery. They have a very firm set of values that they are not willing to break. (Goatman, I hope you don't mind me posting about the Emboians and embellishing on what you started. Let me know if you want it changed)
  13. But an intro here is fine too! We're pretty flexible. Welcome to the Rebellion! I just started playing Dark Forces so I'm excited to see a Kyle Katarn type player! (Just no latent force abilities ok?) You would actually start a new post within the Nar Eurbrikka forum. Start the title with "[soNE Freebuild]" and then add whatever else afterwards.
  14. I only ask because the pictures do make it look a little on the small side. I figured it was at least within the 16x32 minimum. No extra pictures needed
  15. Great beginning! It's not required to post them here, but it is helpful. XP that you gain with your bounty hunter goes towards your main SoNE character.
  16. Great work! Question though, can you share the size of the base? Thanks!
  17. I really like the feel of this castle! The cliff-side look is excellent!
  18. Ahhh! It's comments like this that make coming into work and working on SoNE instead of my job worth it Just kidding
  19. Scores will be updated soon on the Player Index page!
  20. Like, really really close. Like, Nom may post it before I'm done writing this close. EDIT: Ok, well I guess not quite that close
  21. I really like that dark red coral type plant!
  22. Quoting a galaxy far, far away just proves you should be building over in SoNE more!
  23. Whoops! Forgot my own rules there for a moment. You are correct, every build, if it passes gets an automatic 5XP. As I counted it I think there is one other "gate" where you would need 10XP from other sources besides BHMs, but you are correct in that a person does not have to do a whole lot more than BHMs to reach the end goal. I'm glad you like the idea and I really like your suggestion! The topic of reward vs. effort was brought up as we discussed this prior to launching. I based the reward off of the Guilds of Historica: Age of Mitgardia mini-challenge. In that challenge you had to complete 36 builds and only got a tag for completing them. For the BHMs you get a tag and XP so it's roughly the same. I personally feel that having a simple tag as the prize is okay because it makes that tag worth that much more. Not many people will have it so it provides some bragging rights. At least, that's how I feel about my Age of Migardia shield tag But, I think your idea of "best BHM build in a month" is a very good one and will help provide additional reasons to build. We'll see what we can do about hosting one of those in the next couple months.
  24. I'm not sure I fully understand, but a player would also need to complete some freebuilds and or Episode builds to be able to complete all the Bounty Hunter Missions. Completing all of the missions within the "up to 100xp" range (assuming every build got a perfect 5) would only give 85XP. So they would have to get 15 more XP from somewhere else before being able to build the next set.
  25. You can have a collab with another player, but for both of you to complete the mission you must both build MOCs that meet the requirements. So if you teamed up with Wick Nole, you would have to build an entry meeting all the rule specifications and can include Wick's bounty hunter; but then Wick would also have to build a qualified entry. You could show two different aspects of the mission, but both must compete. The other option is to use other player's bounty hunters in your entry, but it wouldn't count for that player. They would have to finish the mission themselves at a different time. Does that make sense? Knew this question would come up so thanks for asking it now! It's actually if you have 1-10XP you can complete: Rodian on Tatooine Geonosian on Ord Mantell If you have 1-25XP you can complete: Rodian on Tatooine Geonosian on Ord Mantell Wookiee on Endor Lasat on Lothal Weequay on Geonosia Talz on Hoth Make sense?
