  1. Thanks! You should definetly watch the first film. I never got into watching the cartoons but I really liked the film. You should only watch the sequels to the first movie if your intrested or if your really like the first one since they kind of repeat the same things and are not as good as the first one. They do have some amazing epic battle scenes though.
  2. Hello Kris remember seeing your comments on the projects and thanks for the countinued support! I have 6 of the arena's (including the mini one). I guess it's just that I really like the scene a lot and I came to LEGO Ideas to specifiically try to get that into the LEGO review. So every once in a while between different sets I try to give it another go. The first one on the first day did pretty good. Around 100 supporters but then the ammount decreased. I've been trying to make it get noticed well on the first day of the release with different versions of the arena ever since. I know it's kind of a lost hope but that set was my plan from the begining so every once in a while I keep trying.
  3. Hello! This is my Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen forest fight creation. It includes Optimus Prime (leader of the Autobots), Megatron (leader of the Decepticons, Starscream and Grindor. All of the transformers posses many ball and socket joint parts which allow them to be moved into many different poses. I posted it some days ago on the Pleyworld site (It works like Lego Ideas but you only need 5000 supporters instead of 10,000). It still has one vote but it needs some time to get people to see it. If you wish you can help it out and speed up the project. Here is the link: https://www.pleyworld.com/design/Transformers%20ROTF:%20Forest%20Battle/769 I tried to stay as accurate to the film with the designs and so I had no room to allow them to transform but I hope their movie accuracy is good enough on it's own. Let me know what you think in the comments below!
  4. Thank you! Yes I exactly understand what you mean with the pillars. I started out like that for them in real life then I managed to make one decent 4x4 one but it's not really tall enough and it's nothing compared to the versions I made on Lego Digital Designer. Only a few green bricks for the Acklay are available like the smooth curved bricks for the back but non of the leg peices are available so if you want to recreate exactly like that you would have to make it off-colour/paint it or if this project makes it. The Acklay's face the nose above the head of the nexu and the spots on the reek are all meant to be decals on normal existing bricks.
  5. Thanks! I know what you mean but Lego Ideas does not allow custom molds or parts sadly. I could see them making the Acklay's legs partially brick built though with some existing peices since they are quite thin.
  6. Thank you for commenting! Glad you like the Acklay. It's the creature I worked the most on. And deraven you have just made me think. I could use the clips with the small bar at the back to attach the handcuff to the chain.
  7. I've just made the Geonosis Arena with the beasts on LEGO Ideas: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/116419 And then it made me think. What other Star Wars characters, locations and events which would be epic as sets but which have never been officially made as a Lego set?
  8. Welcome to my: "Star Wars: Geonosis Arena Execution" Creation! This is a Geonosis Arena LDD Moc which I have rendered and submitted to the LEGO Ideas site. If it reaches 10,000 supporters it will be reviewed by LEGO and can become a official Set! If you have Facebook you can use it to have signup quickly and support the project. Otherwise you can register manually. You can support and take a look at the project here: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/116419 If you wan't to further help the project you could share it on other appropriate sites and spread the word. I've been working on making the Geonosis Arena for years probably from 2002/2003 to the present day and I think I've nearlly hit my limit on the development of my designs for both the creatures and the structure of the arena, (more of the arena was in my previous projects) . This time around I've made custom designs for a new version of Padme, Obi-Wan and Anankin as seen in the Republic Gunship,(75021) set which adds a lot more to a potential Geonosis Arena set. I've also continued to update the four pillars making them more robust and movie accurate. Did I mention, they can fall over just like in the film when the Acklay charges against one smashing it and when one is hit from a Geonosian sonic cannon. Don't forget if your watching please leave a support. This would mean the world to me if it got to the LEGO Review and I think it has a good chance to be made since it was never officially released as a set before and it's not something massively huge so there is a good chance LEGO could consider it. May the force be with you. -Thunderous Blade
  9. Your exactly right. I started off with the chest with less width but the head was far too big. Definitely need to stretch him out a bit.
  10. This is my large scale Boba Fett figure. I did not add the cape yet as it would likely have to be made from cloth so I will Photo Shop that in at a latter time. I tried to add as many details that I could as seen on the original design including his mandalorian Logo on the left shoulder plate. If you like it, you may help me out by supporting the project on the Lego Ideas site: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/97392 Feel free to leave any feedback. I have plans to modify the gun, add a hook line which he uses to tie up Luke and the cape of course as I said.
  11. Amazing design for the corridors and equipment!
  12. Wow that's amazing! I really like the movement in the scene.
  13. Very nice! I particularly like the design for the Ring wraith behind the Witch king. Can't wait for Saurons eye! Especially since I made it myself recently.
  14. This is very nice! I like the design very much for the ship. It is very sleek. I saw it back on Lego Ideas.
  15. Thanks! Yes I was trying to keep it too a very small scale. I might make it slightly higher to go along better in scale to the Orthanc set. I'm thinking of adding another level to the middle of it. Thank you! I'm going to try to make Sauron's spikes a bit better in a future update and add a bit more playability to the eye.
  16. Yes this was a mistake for some reason It posted it twice. Is there any way to remove this one?
  17. This is my "The Great Eye: Barad-dûr" Lego Ideas set. It would be a pit for Lego to never produce any more large sets for the world of Middle Earth without a decent version of the main enemy Sauron himself and so I have made this set in hopes that one large missing chunk can be filled. If you want to support it in hopes of it getting made you can do so through here. Every vote makes a change so please do not hesitate to leave your support. It only takes a few minutes if you don't already have a account imagine all the time I put to make it:http://https://ideas.lego.com/projects/96737 This is the main image in a large resolution. If you wish to see more close ups there are many more to be seen on the Lego Ideas link. Let me know what you think. -Gus Something happened with the post the title should be ""Sauron in armor minifigure along with Barad-dûr (Lotr) What do you think?" and it posted it twice. GG

  19. Thank you! I hope to at least see one version of it. :D
  20. Was thinking of making a more accurate version based on the original model. But I will wait and see how the projects goes first. Ahah. You read my mind. Kept thinking I need to make a Talos set with the treasure room with Hercules,Jason and the other man who gets squashed. Thanks! Glad you like the hydra. I'll keep trying. Thank you for the support!
  21. Always has been for me as well from when Episode 2 was released.
  22. For the film that it's based on probably yes but the theme alone should let it hold up. After all it would be the first official Lego Hydra, that I'm aware off.
  23. Thanks for the support! What do you think of the film?
  24. I think people would of gone for it. At least a instant-buy for me. Some of the other big scenes in the Episode 2 sets where quite lacking. Like the Anakin vs Tuskens and Yoda vs Count Dooku sets which where tiny. Yeah I agree about it being a gap in product line/collections. Yeah that's right about Kamino. I'm surprised they did not make one of the Kamino people and the flying winged creature with at least one of the towers.
