  1. They also put a big ol' banner on the main shop page, which would be strange if it wasn't available online.
  2. I think I'll treat myself to a Dragon Bolt. Black AND GitD brains squee. Anyone else I should look at getting? yurr nevermind, ordered already Also, I may be super-late to the party on this one, but who's this "Goriz" mentioned at the top?
  3. I assume that means it's made of hard plastic instead of the softer kind? Bummer, but I can work with it.
  4. How flexible are these things? They were included in "Doc Ock's Cafe Attack" and "Doc Ock's Crime Spree".
  5. Having just come off a Doctor Who binge, the alt universe thing is humorously relevant for me.
  6. Really? Excellent.
  7. Masks and helmets often have alternative uses, too. Some of them are designed in such a way that the back or top looks reasonably like a face, so instead of using the actual face you can change it up. I was thinking of using the original Stormer's helmet as some kind of drone, because from the top it has a pretty interesting design.
  8. At that point I'd call it a revamp.
  9. That's how I go about it. A set that has an interesting theme, even if it isn't done perfectly, is what I look for. Breakout Evo, for example, I liked because he had the simple cannon arm design. My modifications were pretty much just adding more armor to bulk him up some.
  10. I should start assigning scores to sets based on how long they'll likely stay assembled. It'll be kind of tricky for ones like Toxic Reapa, though, who had a great design but also too many lovely parts not to rip it apart.
  11. The LDD visors can go almost all the way down, which is good enough for me. A bit of a hassle to attach initially, but not something I should have to do a lot so I'm not complaining.
  12. More Scorpio heads, more 2.0 helmets, and more 4-module shells. Any colors. PONIES
  13. Given how this can be applied to almost anything, it has pretty much no meaning for the Chima sets.
  14. Yeah, I think if it was like the 2.0-3.0 setup with a new over-torso piece with the clips then it'd be better.
  15. So I got Rocka, and he's pretty good. I was going to get Breez, but then changed my mind because of Rocka's accessories. He's kinda plain, though nothing a few simple modifications can't fix.
  16. He probably just thought that the OoF piece was new. Seems like it's usually hidden in the construction of the sets, so it's often not easy to see.
  17. It doesn't make her look "feminine", it makes her look wrong.
  18. I think Dragon's pose makes him look weird, especially with how wide open his jaw is. Really the main issue I see is the posing, as usual. I'm liking Surge more and more.
  19. I think the white works with Rocka. It was his core and head color when he was introduced, and even though Nex also uses white it's more of a background color (at least, until his Breakout breakout…)
  20. I don't know what sets you're looking at, but what I'm seeing is a pretty good-looking constraction set.
  21. Those preliminary pictures clearly showed that the sets' pieces were made of giant blurry squares, so it's understandable that the finalized versions are getting more praise. (I do not understand why ZOOM IN ENHANCE has become a normal tactic for divining the quality of future sets.)
  22. Fortunately it looks like Dragon's function isn't as detrimental to his design as Scarox's. Interesting that his wings are made mostly of the lightning pieces.
  23. I like these. They all look pretty decent, and they all have great parts. The birds, especially, have some nice-looking wing designs.
  24. Aquagon's face reminds me of the Kanohi Avsa. AKA Vamprah's face. I like it.
