… so is there anything actually worth talking about? Other than "oh boy I hope we get some information soon"?
-
Yeah. I was sort of kidding before because I didn't think it would be likely, but if there's a real possibility I'd be all over that. Also I doubt LEGO would touch NGE with a ten-module pole.

they should send some to meeeeee I liked Exo-Force but it didn't gel with BIONICLE that well so I didn't get many sets. Like, three total. But I wanted the fortress and Striking Venom because they looked awesome. It's just that they didn't fit in with my established interest. Despite Exo-Force's apparent failure, I also think a constraction line that follows the mech concept might be worth LEGO looking into, if they haven't already. It'd keep the "humanoid vehicle" aspect of Exo-Force but have the simpler building style of BIONICLE or Hero Factory. SYSTEM elements are already spreading into Hero Factory, so having a solid cockpit piece (or pieces) that existing canopy parts connect to isn't a big stretch. And they could have some sort of battle function where either you swing a weapon or shoot a projectile and it makes the cockpit eject. I think that would be really cool. But I probably wouldn't be the target demographic, sooo…

The Dark Lord D'awwwwron. But I think the closest you're going to get to the top spikes (without painting them) would be these, so unless some recolors are released it won't be fully buildable. Not sure if the rest of the parts are available in black either, I just went with whatever I could. CUUSOO TIME actually yeah why not Though if you make the eye yellow it could look like the flame-lightning-whatever bits holding it to the spires. I dunno.

They let him have a radio for good behavior. So he made it into a bike. Or he convinced them the bike was a radio.

RAAARGHLARBLAAAAGRARAAAAUGH 1 2 3 4 I'm not entirely sure what brought this on. I think it was the realization that Rocka's lion helmet sort of looks like a nose. And then, well… This happened. I don't know what I was thinking with the name, either, but it seemed to fit. trivia: the tongue isn't attached by anything, it's just sort of stuck in there, and the Krana is just to fill it out

I had not thought of that. It would be an interesting feature if this was an actual set or something, but right now I can't think of a decent way to make that work (other than just falling over), especially without sacrificing the look. Here's the file. The build is actually a bit haphazard, especially on the inside, so it might be a bit difficult to navigate.

Well it started when I decided to make a large Eye of Sauron in LDD. As I was fiddling around I noticed that the stinger/tail/whatever pieces might work well as the spikes on the top of the tower, so I abandoned the original idea to make this. It's definitely not the most accurate of builds, but I think it captures the look well enough. (the eye is attached by two transparent 1x1 cylinders, if you can't see them that well)

Argh, so many typos…
-
Okay, the issue (if there indeed was one) appears to be fixed, at least from what I can tell. Pages are loading fine again, no lagging or missing pieces.
-
Seems like it would happen with other websites too if that were the case. So far I've only been getting the problem here, and only recently.

I can confirm slowness and timing out. Sometimes it doesn't load at all, sometimes most of it loads but the header image doesn't, sometimes it loads but the css is broken. I'll screenshot anything else that happens. e: Header image not loaded: Sudden lack of CSS:

wikka-wikka-woo just my BASS CANNON we are making this happen

Whoa, Voltix looks pretty creepy there.
-
Bulk, SD, and Voltix all easily show the Glatorian-style face. Either they're using two kinds of heads for the heroes, which would be weird, or they use an older piece remolded to match the current socket style, which has happened repeatedly.
-
Check out Nex's neck socket. It extends down past the curve of the ball like the 2.0/3.0 head sockets.
-
Looks like we're finally getting the Glatorian head mold with the 2.0 head mold's socket. Now if only they started making them in solid colors.
-
Too distracted by his twig knees.
-
Huh, didn't notice. Probably to make room for the launcher. also @ MD: I don't plan on buying him right now, and if I do I have the pieces to give him FL legs if I want to.
-
I'd rather have the Fire Lord leg design on Stormer than the one he uses.
-
I think he was talking about the Savage Planet name badge pieces, though they were printed which limits their use.
-
When I added a MTIS to Breakout Evo's back, I just used this piece. Didn't think to try it that way (not that I had the necessary parts with me at the time, but still). I filled in the gap underneath with one of those fire villain armor decorations ("villain cores", even though that's wrong). Fills him in right down to the hips at a nice tapering angle.

Yes, it's built around the 7-width Hero torso piece, of course with some additions to attach the underside and tail. Yeah, pretty much my only problem with this MoC, those elbows are broken! Loving everything else though, looks like a very nice robo-pony to me! Good work Bath Foam! That's how I had it originally, but it looked weird, which I realized was because the legs actually do bend this way. Of course, MLP:FIM being what it is, the characters are a lot more flexible than normal horses, but I think this is the best "default" stance.

First off, I apologize heartily up front for the poor image quality. Camera died, not getting a new one any time soon, so had to use crummy webcam. Hopefully this will be remedied by being sent to Cascade and being photographed by super-picture-takerer DeeVee. Fingers crossed. now then ponies 180° head-on about to charge neigh MEGA AWESOME CLOSE-UP And here's a pony generator version. The weakest part is easily the mane and neck area, as I was running out of useful purple pieces and stuff in general. The head was really frustrating to make and I am glad it turned out as well as it did. (eugh these pictures are horrible, it looks a lot better in real life I promise)
