Wow, didn't expect that big of a problem. Probably looks terrible on Stormer. have some pics

For those who can't see the previews (and who don't live in the future): 1 2 3 4 It seems to be a progressive thing.

A "Heel Face Turn" is actually when a villain becomes good. The reverse is the "Face Heel Turn", when a previously good character becomes evil. Anyway, I doubt we'll see any loyalty changes like that. The most I'd bet on would be Von Nebula being the one behind it. It'd be cool to have him redesigned and re-released.

Yeah I remember when Stringer was Fire Lord, too. Because their helmets looked similar or something.

Legends of Chima 2013 (Action Figures)
Bfahome replied to DarkSurgeXL's topic in LEGO Action Figures
No, not really. 2/3 of the Toa Metru had different colors than any previous BIONICLE sets, but BIONICLE didn't end in 2004. Unless you want to try and argue that this sudden shift in aesthetics means that Hero Factory is going to end in 5+ years. I may grant you that one. As of now, though, there's no indication of when or how it'll end, and talking about how bad you think the color differences or set designs are is not going to change that. -

All Atlantis changed was their headgear and canopy color. After a year of digging into the ground, Power Miners dug slightly deeper. Stars were the same impulse build as the previous two years, but with the obligatory new pieces. They were more similar to previous waves than the Toa Metru were to the Rahkshi, or the Piraka were to the Hordika. But no yeah you're right, the fact that you don't like them is pretty irrefutable evidence. -

Given that Chima has a visual style with more connection to last year's HF sets than the upcoming year's sets, you kind of don't have an argument here. Also in what way did BIONICLE have HF's visual style in the Stars line? If you're going with "small impulse-sized sets" then you're probably forgetting how that started in 2008. -
If those really are sets from the second wave, I'd say they make up for any shortcomings in the "current" wave.

That's what I figured, and now I have to mentally stop myself from pronouncing it "ky-ma" because apparently that's WRONG. -
Nice heads. Not that good for bare use, but that probably won't be a problem due to how many ways you could attach things. Looking forward to getting some, and getting some of the brain slugs. They're like the MoL Kraata.

The "one counterexample" thing only works if the claim is that HF sets always sell better than anything else in every store. And I don't think anyone has said that, ever. As for the two revealed sets, I'm a bit put off by how sparse they seem. Though what is there looks pretty good. Especially the use of the HF "paw" piece as feet and the weapons. -
Haven't touched LDD in a while, but then I was watching Mask of Light again and I noticed how much Makuta's feet looked like the Ben 10 block feet. So, this came about. 1 2 3 4 (new) Download the .lxf file for better views. Wings because wings rule.

I don't see the issue with the slugs being rubber. I don't think it's the prettiest texture to look at either, but they're brain slugs, they're not supposed to be pretty.

>dream CHIMA SETS CONFIRMED FOR SENTIENT But seriously. Waspix heads. Please.
-
Whatever may come, I hope greatly for Waspix's head to be released in more colors. As long as that color has a matching 2.0 hero over-helmet piece.
-
That is excellent.

No, it's a new torso piece. The molding around the core connection and the lower abdomen give it away. Plus that piece isn't nearly wide enough to hook Exo-Force arms around HF torso armor. Anyway, I'm liking what I see for the most part. I look forward to seeing the brain slugs in all their glory. I don't really like the random brown on Breez's bow thing, and the mini Piraka spines on Ogrum clash a bit too much with his otherwise smooth look. Also Scarox's arms look a bit too short. But I love all the new shell coloring. And all the yummy transparent pieces. I think my favorites right now are Rocka and Bruizer. Rocka's nice and simple with the trans-sword (I like that they're making more widely-useful sword molds) and gold Captain America shield, and I really like the clawed chest in general. Bruizer reminds me of Stronius, but with the club kind of fused into his right arm and asymmetrical armor.

First I made the Krabe, then the Megatank, then for funsies I threw together a quick Odd and William. (pretty sure Lyoko counts as sci-fi)

LDD Update: HF/BIONICLE user's report!
Bfahome replied to Logan McOwen's topic in LEGO Action Figures
They should add the Waspix head already. -
How do you guys fix your broken Bionicle pieces?
Bfahome replied to Aethersprite's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Order non-broken ones online. It's almost like they're brand new. -

Ooh, Stormer XL sockets. -
No, Kevin Hinkle's interview recently. Gatanui posted the relevant part at the bottom of page 4 in this topic.

Given the statement we got earlier I doubt we'll be seeing purple as a main color any time soon. The Joker is the exception rather than the rule because you can't make The Joker and not have him be purple. However, I wonder if they could pull off dark transparent purple pieces without any large variation issues. It seems like both the transparency and darkness would keep color inconsistencies from being too visible.

I'm hoping for more variety of shell colors. I need the size 4 shell in lime.

I want glowing heads. The Piraka's radioactive teeth were the closest we ever got, even though the Inika heads were originally meant to be GitD. But I'd settle for more solid-color heads, preferably ones that actually look like entire heads. Transparent eyes are cool but when it's the entire head it tends to look odd, at least to me. If two-parts+ heads ever come back I will be very happy.
