It depends.

Wow the Beasts look even worse than before. They are all Skull Scorpio all over again, aesthetic sacrificed for the sake of a function, filled with huge amounts of color-coded technic pieces that mess up their colorscheme in the worst way possible. Only Storm Beast is somewhat decent looking, despite his lack of elbows and open ball sockets in hands. And then there's Ekimu, who's pretty okay-ish, but then again pretty plain and boring, and the fact that he has only one new mold, not even in an exclusive color, is unacceptable. Umarak looks really weird in those photos. Overall I'm not impressed, at first I was thinking that this summer wave will be better than the Skull Squad, but now I'm not too sure about that. I'm definitely getting Storm Beasts, but only because of his three dark blue shells. Others are most likely a pass.

What would you like to see in future bionicle sets?
Voxovan replied to Ikaatril's topic in LEGO Action Figures
He doesn't. He uses aslightly different shade of green, which is not the same as the "standard" LEGO green (aka Mata Green).- 25 replies

Star Wars Constraction - Character Wishlists
Voxovan replied to DuckBricks's topic in LEGO Action Figures
None of the organic characters that aren't fully covered by armor, because those just look ugly in CCBS form. I'd go for some droid, like C-3PO and R2D2, maybe some of the prequel droid like Droideka of the Hailfire Droid, though those would be more technic-based rather than CCBS-based. But I have the original technic Droideka from 2000 (or was it 2001?) and I'd love to see a new version of this set. -
So I actually did some research to find some voice samples of those actors and... boy, these were hard to find. But here's what I've got: Jacqui Fox - since she's the only woman on that list I think it's pretty safe to assume that she's doing the voice of Gali. She did voices for Cixi from Lanfuest Quest and .Nolan Balzer - he actually did voices in the same shows as Jacqui Fox, so I find that interesting, he also did the voice of Quinn Greene - well... I'm not sure if I've found the right one, but it's the only Quinn Greene that shows up on IMDb, so here: . He also played Vinnie in Tales From Makeout Point: Vinnie's Tale, but that one has pretty... exclipit words in it, that's why this might be the wrong actor. But if he's the right one, I think his voice would fit Lewa. The other names have multiple entries on IMDb, so I was of course unable to find the right ones. But I hope Paolo Bryant is not the one associated with Birdemic :P

So apparently this screenshot is from a new Mask of Control game trailer, which is available only for Canadian facebook users.

Anyone has a source for this picture?

Lego has posted some glorious Journey to One concept art on the Bionicle facebook page!
-
Well, that's why I'm hoping that's not the case. Also, since I can't find the Bionicle 2015 topic (seriously, where did it go?) I'm posting this here: the second graphic novel cover is up on Amazon.

Or canceled. Man, that would suck.

They also accomplished an awful sight when you looked at them from the side.

To anyone complaining about Storm Beast's arms, especially the hands - keep in mind that ther are built incorrectly and posed extremely awkwardly, they should look better after having the set in hand. Those open ball sockets irk me a lot though.

Me too, it creates a nice contrast.

They can always use an axle instead of the axle-pin.

Lewa's video is up!

Journey to One is done by another studio, and it's not the first and only Netflix exclusive Lego show, Lego Friends is getting a Netflix show the same time as Bionicle.

OMG this looks amazing!!

It was always going to be 4 episodes long, that was confirmed quite some time ago I think.

I really hope that the AFOLs who did this report didn't know their stuff and confused the story of the original run with the 2015 story, because, really, you can't go simpler than 2015 story. Hah, in Poland we have that one AFOL group which has descriptions for every Lego theme on their website, Bionicle's description was something among the lines of "a theme with weird robots that constantly fight which each other, uses pieces that don't fit anything else". One of the most pathetic descriptions I've ever seen.

But the legs use a Hordika neck and a CCBS bone, not two CCBS bones.

So, I found these screencaps from the game's comics on 4chan: http://i.4cdn.org/toy/1453333550650.png http://i.4cdn.org/toy/1453333624950.png http://i.4cdn.org/toy/1453333690464.png http://i.4cdn.org/toy/1453333768450.png That's... pretty intense.
-
I don't think the comic uses screencaps from Journey to One. The graphics are too "blocky" and have less detail than what we've seen in the poster for the show.

Yes, the sets are available on LEGO Shop (that's where I got some of my sets from), the website got an update in Polish, the Polish translations are on the European boxes, the sets are listed in the Polish catalog, that's why I was so confused when I heard that they're not going to be released here. Again, I thought that it must be some misunderstanding, but the same thing occured to other people in various different cities. I guess we'll have to wait and see, but now I'm really worried about this theme's future.

Poland. At first I thought that this might be just some misunderstanding between the supplier and the seller, but other people on Polish Bionicle forum said that they had the exact same situation. And it's not that it's the constraction that sells poorly, because the shop's already had the new SW Ultrabuilds, it's just Bionicle. It makes me sad actually, because it's the first time the Bionicle sets aren't released here, nothing like it ever happened to HF, and we know that it wasn't the best-selling wave. I mainly blame local Lego team's non-existent advertising campaign for Bionicle, there was barely any ads in television, the books and graphic novels weren't released. I was hoping that the Netflix show would raise Bionicle's popularity, but now it seems that we won't even get the show.
