  1. Yes, he (it?) was created after Takanuva and Makuta fell into the pool of energized protodermis during their fight at the end of the 2003 storyline.
  2. While the MOC isn't bad, it's way too bland compared to the official version. The asymmetry and orange bits really make this year's Gali stand out from the others, this one looks really uninteresting and unappealing in my opinion.
  3. Oh my, yes, I have no idea how I got these two mixed up. Thanks and sorry for an unnecessary post ^^'

  5. As far as I'm concerned, Netflix never releases any information regarding the amount of views of their original shows.
  6. I just want transparent red shells, as I'm starting to get tired of orange ones. Next year's Makuta would be a good opportunity to introduce new pieces in transparent red, but knowing Lego, they'll most likely be in orange...
  7. Lol I know it's all a matter of opinion, but I pretty much disagree with all you said there. Atrocious writing? It was pretty good for a kids' show, on par with old Bionicle movies and way better than TLR or last year animations. Nonexistant wordbuilding? The scenes with the Toa searching for the Creatures in their Regions was good enough for me, sure, not the best, but far from nonexistent. Lackluster voice acting? Other than the awkward pauses between dialogue in some scenes I find it decent, especially from such little known actors. I don't have any problems with messages the show was trying to give to the kids, it was all about unity and working together, which was well integrated in the story with that Pohatu arc. And I really don't know which characters were swapping between personalities? Pretty much all of them retained their character traits from last year's animation (Tahu was still the hot-headed one, Lewa was still the funny one, Pohatu the grumpy one etc. etc.), one difference was that Onua wasn't as dumb as he was last year, but hey, that's how he's supposed to be, right? Disjointed plot? The Toa had to find the Creatures in order to go to the Labyrinth in order to find Mask of Control in order to destroy it and prevent Makuta from awakening. Makes perfect sense to me. And wow, Labyrinth of Control lacked originality? Sure, it wasn't the most UNIQUE place in the universe, but I've never seen a labyrinth with giant levitating cubes going all crazy in different directions before. And funny that you say that, the prologue was in my opinion the best thing out of all episodes. The way Narmoto was telling the story, the way the scenes and music were put together made the 2015 story feel way more epic than it actually was, and the prologue was much better than the animations themselves. I know this may seem like I'm mindlessly defending the show, but I really enjoyed it (which was also surprising for me, I had pretty high expectations but given my experiences with other Lego shows I knew I might as well be disappointed) and most of the flaws people find seem like it's complaining for the sake of complaining, or because "it's not muh bonkle". Sure, it had its flaws, but compared to other Lego shows which are one of the most cheesy and cringey ones I've seen, I'd say JtO blew them out of the water, even if it was far from perfect. Keep in my mind it is a kids show, we can't judge it as a series for teenagers or young adults, who aren't the main Lego target demogaphic. There are some shows that may appeal more for teenagers than young kids (my best examples would be Transformers Prime or Wakfu, not even mentioning many Japanese animations) but those are rarities in these days and given today's standarts, I'd say JtO did its job pretty well.
  8. Yeah I also don't understand that design. We even have the other type of bone in the right size in that exact same color. Perhaps this was made this way to make the legs more stable... But they're advertised on the box with a bend that isn't even possible in real life
  9. Yeah, according to the webisodes, the Toa "travelled for weeks". That's pretty long if you ask me.

  11. There are some new interesting scenes, like this one or this one. I don't have a Netflix account so I can't say if there's anything more. I hope someone will eventually upload this trailer somewhere else.
  12. There is a new trailer for Journey to One on the Netflix page. Only people with Netflix accounts can watch it though.
  13. Wow that Quake Beast function works even worse than it looks :P
  14. Not really, he uses a completely different torso construcion, has longer upper legs and completely different arms.
  15. The poster for Journey to One is simply BEAUTIFUL
  16. Unity Masks have spiritual links to Elemental Creatures, so I guess the Toa need them to find the Creatures and Golden Masks to unite with them.
  17. Having the set in hand I disagree with pretty much all of this. How is this weapon suffering from 2015 Gali's axe syndrome, when Gali's weapon is wielded in one hand, while Onua's drill hammer in two hands? Loading the studs is also easy, you just have to prevent the triggering piece from moving while doing this.
  18. I hear people say that a lot, and I really don't know where this idea is coming from. Those are obviously different voices of different people. We've got a list of 9 <?> voice actors, why would they use one of them to voice multiple characters if they have enough people to do the job?
  19. He actually reminds me more of Starscream from the Unicron Trilogy... hope he won't END UP like Starscream tho...
  20. I was mostly talking about last year, and the books and graphic novels weren't even released in most countries, not to mention that the graphic novel showed up at the end of the year. Sure, it may have been well-advertised in the US and some other countries, but there are also countries (the one where I live included) where Bionicle didn't get pretty much any advertising, which results in low sales to the point that even Lego refuses to send sets to various retailers, because the line isn't making enough money there. Well I wonder why the sales are low, if Lego doesn't put any effort into advertising their theme outside the most profitable countries >.>
  21. It definitely has a potential, but it's nearly impossible for this theme to become the "next big thing" with its pretty much non-existent advertising campaign.
  22. Well, Toa Mata Nui wasn't a great set either :P
  23. Takanuva 2008 is actually shorter than Toa Mata Nui, and about the same size as Grievous and Witch Doctor.
  24. Kardas Dragon.
