  1. "Since we are merely selecting graves at random, any guess is as good as any other. I'll just go ahead and guess 5 if that works for the party leader."
  2. "A song?" A question mark formed on the mechanoid's smooth face. "I don't see any reason why you can't, though I also can't see how it would help our situation."
  3. "Well I always hate to be the voice of reason, but it would seem these spooks have made the rest of you go batty or tongue-tied. I think I'll take a quick siesta and let Jeaux take over from here." The dark color receded from the automaton's surface as Jeaux's personality returned to consciousness. "From what I can, there is no more strategy to this than random guessing. As such we may as well pick a tomb so we can move forward quickly. I have a feeling our quarry may be more difficult to locate once the sun has risen."
  4. OOC: So does this mean 2 tombstones are ruined or 1? If it is only one, could you perhaps use a different color in the tombstone list to make it evident which ones are broken and which ones had a ghost revealed. "Perhaps somebody should toss that mage in a padded room before he hurts himself. I'd try to use my magic to discover the next grave, but alas I'm all out of ether and why break a perfect record." He turned toward the party leader, "If you've got a strategy then you'd best stick with that; however if you're a gamblin' lass, then I'd put my money on number 5"
  5. "Hah! I still got it. Well, I've done my part, who wants to go next?", the automaton said with an air of pride in his voice.
  6. "I know this one! I know this one! We can use a location spell to determine where they are hiding, and I know just the one." The automaton places his hands together and bows his head in concentration. He seems to call upon the forces of nature to focus all of his powers towards their current task. His hand darts towards the first grave, one digit extended ominously. His hand begins to move from grave to grave as he chants, "Eenie Meenie Miney Moe, Catch a Brobric by the toe, if he falls and goes kersploot, then blame it all on a guy named zoot. There you go, if my magic is as good as it used to be, then they must be there, behind lucky number 7"
  7. "Mechabeing! that's a new one. I like it, it's got a ring to it, and not some cheap plastic ring but like a big whompin diamond one." This dwarf seemed to have a bit more life to her than he had first thought. When he heard the little hairy woman might have a massive pile of bodies somewhere, he wasn't sure quite what to think. Most mass murderers were either a complete drag, or awesome to have at a party. It seemed their current party leader could be the latter. The wooden man turned back to the 3 ghoulish figures. "FEAR ME, FOR I AM MECHABEING! So seriously, why were you guys expelled. Did you insult the guy's mother or was it something more sinister, and hows about you start laying down the rules for our little game."
  8. I've found it does that with a lot of the text options. It can get annoying on occasion, but overall I still prefer Chrome over most of the browser options.
  9. "Everybody loves a good game. I mean you'd have to be some sort of short stuffy character who lives in a hole in the ground to not like games. Don't get me wrong, I like a fight to the death just as much as any other man, but a game is a game. What's wrong Amma, afraid you're gonna lose."
  10. Jeaux's features were eclipsed by a shadow the shade of night as he replied, "'Ooh, I love a good game. What are we playing Canasta, Snakes and Ladders, or maybe the ever classy game of Duck Duck SQUAWK!' The automaton turned to their brave and noble leader to get her opinion. 'Oh brave and noble leader, what is your opinion?'"
  11. Ah yes, extreme tennis, the most dangerous game.
  12. Jeaux addressed the cat with a series of meows and purrs. "<We were hired to perform a task and she was appointed as the leader of this group. Is there a reason we should be wary around her?>"
  13. Worshiping cats sounded rather odd to Jeaux, but it would explain why so many cats seemed to think of themselves as gods. He looked at the skeletons who had been discussing some sort of new weapon. The idea that a weapon would be imbued with the power of cheese sounded a bit ... cheesy. Though, mages were a strange bunch and it was entirely possible one had enchanted a weapon such as that simply because he could.
  14. "Who is this Grettir?" Jeaux asked the female dwarf. He was interested in learning more about the individual leading them.
  15. OOC: Changed target to Dire Rat B
  16. "Might I suggest Zoltan fight from the back row and we leave one of the Dire Rats alone this round? His shield should be able to protect him from any damage. I think we should also see how much damage we can deal before confronting the rats again." Jeaux unleashed another arrow from Eminus at Dire Rat B from the back row. OOC: If Zoltan is in the back row he will take 0 damage from enemies level 4 and below (4/2 - 2SP) = 0. That way we reduce the odds of healing by a bit more. Also if we leave any attacks on the dire rats till the end of the battle order, then we may have a greater chance of dispatching the other foes before the rats have a chance to heal them. Also Amma, Jeaux, Em, or Heckz could kill both rats with a shield roll while targetting one of the other foes.
  17. OOC: I think ether is not consumed on a damage roll, so Amma's ether should be at 11. Though I could be wrong on that. Dire Rat (B)'s health should be 12 after the triple shot reduced it by 10. Jeaux raised Eminus bringing another arrow to bear on his prey. He released his grip on the string to let the arrow fly at Dire Rat (B) from the rear of the battle. These vermin would not be long for this world.
  18. If a bladerang is what I think it is, I would expect it to come back to you on its own.
  19. OOC: Jeaux should have the remedy he bought from the groundskeeper, and only 15 gold. "I'm afraid you'll not be feeding tonight". Jeaux fires an arrow at Dire Rat A from the back row.
  20. "The results of that color combination will be two right colors in the right spots. Like I said, we already know yellow is one of the two first colors and red is one of the two last colors."
  21. "It would seem three of the colors are Yellow, Red, and Blue. The fourth color is either Green or Pink. We also know that Yellow is one of the first two colors and Red is one of the last two colors. Perhaps if we were to attempt Green, Green, Blue, Blue we would know all four colors and in which half all four colors lie."
  22. "Perhaps we should check two of the colors from before, and resort them to check their locations. I would propose attempting Red, Red, Yellow, Yellow. If there are any colors in the correct locations then either red or yellow was the color in the wrong location the first time. This will also reduce the potential incorrect colors from four to two."
  23. OOC: Turning off my speech colors for the moment, as this can get rather confusing with them. Jeaux looks down the well, curious who might be speaking. "Are you telling me, the others cannot hear you?", Jeaux asks the mysterious voice. He then turns to the party's leader to pass on the message from the being in the well, "It says we must solve its riddle before it will reveal itself. There are six key colors, Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Pink, and Orange. Using these six colors, we must break its four color code. It will inform us when we have a color in the right place and the right location, and when we have a right color in the wrong location. We only get 12 attempts to guess the correct combination, or it will not reveal itself to us. I would recommend the Party Leader be the only one to proclaim a color sequence, in order to prevent us from wasting guesses" OOC: I would assume a guess is only valid if it is in bold? Jeaux thought for a moment then commented to Stigveladi, "I have a feeling the colors Yellow, Green, Red, and Pink might be a good place to start."
  24. Jeaux pulls an arrow from his quiver and nocks it on his bow. He slowly moves towards the well, each step slow and methodical. He keeps a close watch on the opening, ready to strike at the first sign of danger.
  25. Jeaux looks around trying to determine where the voice came from. "Who said that?", he exclaimed, a tone of suspicion in his words.
