  1. Hey all, Kinto here. I'm still thinking about running a mafia game in the future, and I had an idea for a potential Mafia role that I wanted your guys opinion on. Do you think it'd be fun to play? Thoughts? YANDERE or LOVESICK You are the Yandere/Lovesick. You are not affiliated with the Town or the Mafia, and act as a Third Party with your own win condition. Each night you must choose a player to eliminate. You win the game when you are the only remaining player, with the sole exception being your Senpai. They must survive in order for you to win. During the night, should your Senpai be targeted with a night action that would kill him, you kill the attacker instead. Your Senpai does not know that they are your Senpai, and does not know that if they survive to the end with you two being the only two left, they win with you. Your Senpai has been chosen at random from among your fellow players. Should your Senpai die, you are not eliminated, but cannot win the game. It was an idea that popped into my head, and perhaps some of you out there could tell me if this is a really stupid idea or not.
  2. If we have a vigilante they're going to be pro-town. Without a lynch for the past two days, the town's looking at a disadvantage. I find it odd that Harry of all people was axed off last night, as Harry's suspiciousness was brought up both day 1 and 2. I'm in agreement with Stephanie that Tony's the most suspicious person going, but I also find Jared highly suspicious. Your continual support for not having a lynch has led us down this path. We're at Day Three, and if you're still going to support not lynching someone, I'll overlook my suspicions of Tony to vote you out. Not wanting a lynch is to passively admit you don't want evidence for the town to analyze.
  3. Karie looks her map over questionably. She frowns and begin to erase away her obvious mistake, quietly scolding herself as she does so. "Great job, Karie, really good first move as apparent party leader. I should receive a medal for how stupid I look."
  4. Karie smacks rolled up pamphlet across Pretzel's back. "Let's put the bombs away and think this through without alerting the entire city where we are. Now then, perhaps we should work through this as group. Has anyone got any ideas? I've got an idea for how to start this..." OOC: The ten is our tenth move. NNSSWWWWWW. The 10 in the red line is the guards movement. Any thoughts?
  5. OOC: You say E is the end, but there is no E on the map besides the cardinal points. Do you mean the F on the map? Or is there a trick to this puzzle?
  6. Ho wow, okay, well, that was a weird turn of events. First no night kill on day one, and now it seems we have two rival mafia factions amongst us, and not just the Bellagios as we initially thought. It seems with Harry gone that removes him from a day three lynch, unfortunate and as sardonic as that may sound. If I'm being upfront, I find Tony and Jared the most suspicious people going into day 3, although we'll see where my thoughts go from here.
  7. I had a problem with ex-Dragoon's simply dropping their dragons at the dragon daycare, but did anybody listen to me then?
  8. "I have no clue where I'm going, so if one of you wants to lead us to Ulric, I'd appreciate it." Karie leaves with the group heading to Ulric, unsure of where this will take her, and anxious to finally confront a figure that seemingly continued to nip at her heels.
  9. "Fine by me. Good to have you aboard." Karie takes the loot from the previous fight and hands it to the matron. "Apologies, ma'am." Karie kicks Kiray out from under her table. "Time to move. If we get into a fight with a dragon, don't worry too much, I've slain a few." Moving out of the building and grabbing her gear, Karie ushers her group together. "Let's hurry this up. I'd prefer not being on an all you can eat buffet for big and smokey up there. We need to get to the sewers, and fast."
  10. "You think I'm going into this like a lost little lamb in from the cold?" Karie confidently gave Dyric a thumbs up. "I think Ulric's going to learn that he's messing with the wrong person if he thinks I'm going to be some meek little yes-man." "I'm still waiting for Lawrence to figure out what he's doing with his Phoenix Essence plan, but I'm not adverse to a run to the market. I can heal, just not outside of battle."
  11. Because ultimately that line of discussion gets us somewhere. If people change their votes, why did they change it from earlier in the day? This line of questioning will get us somewhere, not inquiries into night actions. They're a helpful tool, but people who insist we analyze night actions are in my mind being anti-town.
  12. Karie nods back. "I'm merely doing what I would hope others would do when I need the assistance." "Unless you guys are going to see Ulric, I'm not going with you. I don't think you want me and Lawrence in the same group anyways." Karie grins at Hoke, masking her contempt for Lawrence.
  13. I was trying to get people to stop discussing a course of action that ultimately leads nowhere and place it back onto a more productive path. Asking someone who they're going to vote for is far more productive than "I believe X, Y, and Z happened last night". And what do you mean I didn't place a vote myself? I voted for Tony.
  14. Karie nods in Lawrence's direction. "I think that's the most sensible think you've said all night." "I'm not adverse to such a proposal. If we agree to give the matron of this establishment the items our enemies held onto, I'll donate the 250 gold that I was going to use to smooth over all this so that a group can stock up on Phoenix Essences; sign of good faith, if you will." Karie replies. "Whatever we do, let's come to a decision quickly." "Good. I think it's a good idea for those going to see Ulric have Wolfgang rep. I'll go as well, seeing as how my sister was sort of a big deal within the Wolfgang. Throlar." Karie calls to the dwarf, grinning cheekily. She'd never adventured with the mouthy diplomat, but Karie seemed optimistic, seeing as how he was always open for a conversation in the hall. "You're a diplomat. You want to come along with this motley crew to potentially assure an alliance to restore some semblance of sanity to this city?"
  15. Karie straightened her suit out, feeling woozy after drinking so many tonics. She addresses the two former Veterans as pleasantly as their current situation allowed. "Well, the two of you can begin repaying that debt by ensuring we get an audience with Ulric. Kukulkan, I want you and Jacq to stick with us. You two are unfortunately political pawns that the new veterans will be looking to pick off." She leans into the two of them, keeping her voice down. "Do either of you know where the Valkyrie went?" Karie clears her throat and meanders to the bar, avoiding eye contact with the towering matron. She quickly counts out and places 250 gold pieces and places them on the bar. "Sorry about the mess." Karie states somewhat guiltily. She looks to the other former Heroicans. "Come on. I'm certain we can all cough up a bit of coin as an apology to our gracious host." Karie hesitantly motions to the bar with her hands, hopeful incentivizing even a small payment to the matron as a means of compensation for the bloodbath that now stained the Lady Luck's Locale.
  16. Are you claiming Tony's been making nothing but fluff posts? If that's the case, I beg to disagree with you, Jared. Tony's made a lot of statements regarding fellow jurors, all of them parroting others. The fact that you stand up to defend Tony is curious. Why do you defend Tony? Needless to say, I'm in agreement with Stephanie. Tony's been quiet, he's added next to nothing for discussion with his parroting, and he's carefully flown under the radar. All of his statements have been enough to look like he's adding content, but don't add anything. Vote: Tony (jluck)
  17. Karie gives Monk Pretzel a Smelling Salts, Hastening him. "Need one of these?"
  18. I still think Cathy was suspicious, especially after seemingly disappearing near the end of the day to not answer the questions levied against her, although with her being sick, it's possible that her illness forced her away from jury duty.
  19. Karie does nothing from the back row. "We're not going to win the hearts and minds of the people by murdering them."
  20. OOC: If I were to flee using my job trait, would I be able to grab my weapons?
  21. Mind elaborating why you want to vote for Tina?
  22. The evidence simply isn't there, and I doubt it will be for a few more nights. Vigilantes tend not to strike on night one, where the likelihood of killing a townie is higher as there's less information to go on. I'm not ruling out a vigilante, I just don't think there's one. Brock, who are you going to vote for, because ultimately that's a far more productive train of thought over speculation as to what happened last night. You've added nothing of interest or discussion since arriving Jimmy. Who are you going to vote for once voting opens?
  23. I think I've got the information I need. Thanks. As for your claim that there was a recruitment, it's a line of questioning that'll get us nowhere real fast, so let's hold off on that. On a separate note, I'd like to hear more from Tony. He's been somewhat quiet.
  24. Would you mind elaborating for us?
  25. Karie sneers. Their obstacle was overcome, and yet people, HEROES, still wanted to fight. "Kukulkan, on me, now! This fight is over." Karie tosses a smoke bomb.
