  1. We've secured a lynch, though. Unless you're supporting Clifford remove his vote, thus ensuring a third day of the town spinning it's wheels in a no lynch scenario.
  2. Karie grins, although it's clearly solemn. She'd known Skrall was supporting Ulric for awhile, something she hoped she'd be able to look past. "Well, I'm at least glad you're safe. Let's get moving before more uninvited guests arrive." Karie follows Skrall down the winding paths deep into the sewers until she finals makes it to the Wolf's Den. She marvels at the large wolf headed waterfall trickle down into the waters below, her eyes leading her to Ulric. Ulric. Finally. It felt like forever. Four and a half years with only a letter and a medal's worth of contact, but finally Karie had made it to Ulric Wolfkin, leader of the Wolfgang and her late sister's lover. She felt a weight plummet into her stomach and a slight dizziness. She steeled herself. Karie tossed Ulric the Medal of Valour, pulling out the letter it came with as well. "Four years ago during Grogmas you sent me a letter, saying that I was welcome in this den so long as I brought this along with me. I've waited that long for an opportunity to meet you in the flesh. I thought about what I'd do, what I'd say, what might transpire. I don't think I ever imagined it would play out like this. Ulric, I'm Kayla's sister. My name is Karie Alderflask." Karie waits for a moment, hesitant on her next move. She grips her instruments, before loosening her grip. She puts her weapons close by to her but off her person and moves up to Ulric's table, taking a seat. She takes some of Ulric's ale and pours herself a drink. She quickly drinks from the tankard and relaxes. "You're a lot shorter than I imagined."
  3. It's the town's right to know about what's happening behind the scenes in the block, but actively pressing for more information just seems like someone looking for power roles and the identities within the block. It's imperative that they do know who they can trust through a spokesperson. I saw people pushing on Stephanie, I pushed back by telling the town about the Doctor's protection of her.
  4. These are really quite cute! I'm kind of smitten with them!
  5. Ignore their responses and just read mine? So basically what you're saying is "ignore accusations and questions levied against me and just listen to my side of the story". That doesn't sound suspicious at all. Furthermore, the question of my connection to the town doctor is loaded: it's intended to draw out a claim, or gather information on the town block. What answer were you looking for?
  6. Karie was never used to the sewers, she figured most people weren't. Moving through the sewers she couldn't help but feel ghosts of the past lingering around her in the enclosed gloom. The cave ins and barricades didn't help. Coming to the barred door, Karie was greeted by the first good surprise in a long while. "Skrall! It's good to see you again!" Karie grinned back. She wanted to give the hunter a hug, but found her current space too cramped to move too close. "What exactly are you doing down here?"
  7. What constitutes as trust, Dez? There's only one real thing someone, or hell even I, could do to get people to trust me, and that's a role claim. A role claim that would ultimately endanger the person making said claim. Again, we come back to that post you made where you claimed I was making clandestine conversations with our doctor. That doesn't sound like someone simply asking to know names and details, that sounds pretty accusatory. I'm pretty sure you can look where I've stood with my votes and who I've called out, Dez. Jared's still on my list, and I've been suspicious of him for awhile, so your claim that you don't know where I stand is either you not following the discussion, or actively trying to throw out what I've said and done.
  8. The implication is present: the only way to actually prove the conversations happened was if someone claimed Doctor and admitted to the conversations with Stephanie. Where your scumminess comes from is your attempt to preen out information about the town block, as seen from your post above. You worded it as well to make it seem like the conversations I had with the Doctor were a detriment to the town. Clandestine: adjective kept secret or done secretively, especially because illicit. The revenge vote is a flat out lie. I don't believe you've voted for me, Dez, therefore you calling what I've said a revenge vote is demonstrably false. As well, I'm not voting for you because you doubted my conversations with the Doctor, I voted for you because you were looking for information on the town block.
  9. You use the word clandestine to refer to a potential illicit conversation between me and the Doctor, when in reality the Doctor wishes to remain anonymous, and no conversations we've had have been of a nefarious nature. Has anyone claimed at this point to be said Doctor? Why would they? What benefit does the town get from knowing who the Doctor is openly? You yourself admitted it was a foolish move for the Doctor to openly declare their power role on day 2, as stated here: Honestly, I find that with the way the day is going, I'm leaning towards you being a better lynch than Jared. What do you gain from knowing the identity of the Doctor? Unvote: Jared (Kwatchi) Vote: Dez (Forresto) Speaking of Jared, I don't believe he's responded to my comments on me not agreeing to his deal. He was also fishing for roles when he asked for someone to vouch for me. I'd be fine at this point lynching Dez or Jared, based on what's transpired today.
  10. Basically. Usually it's started by the Cop and they invite confirmed townies into the town block after each night although there's other ways blocks can form.
  11. I never stated she was in the town block. I told you all earlier that Stephanie was speaking in private with the Doctor.
  12. Alright, after some consideration, I'm thinking of running an online version of Avalon, which is a reskinned version of The Resistance. Is there any interest in running this thing in the future? It won't be for a few months, but it's something I feel would be a nice alternative to Mafia, and with shrinking sizes in our games, it's ten player limit would make for tight, cutthroat games.
  13. I'd agree that it's suspicious, but I want to see what Tina's got to say before putting down the hammer on her. I'm still suspicious of you Anthony, but we'll see what Tina has to say before I pass further judgement. Also, I goofed. Tina would need two more votes to be today's lynch. I may not trust you Anthony, but I'm not going to make up facts against your case claiming Tina's scum.
  14. That's suspicious behaviour if I've ever seen. Pushing for the lynch of someone with a penalty vote for being quiet has always been a scum move to easily lynch a townie anytime I've seen it advocated, especially after you claimed that the reason you voted for her was to get her to speak up. You'd need one more vote to lynch her as of right now. With Jared just scumming up the place and now this, there's no reason we cannot get a lynch today. If you haven't voted past the first 48 hours, you're withholding your vote for a reason, and that's scummy, even if you aren't scum.
  15. This is partially true. The Doctor only receives a "successful" message if they are not blocked. However, we had no death on Night One. Someone targeted Stephanie, and it was more than likely the scum.
  16. It's day three. We have not had a lynch yet. Your continual push for not lynching someone is pushing the town into not using the one ability we have out maneuver scum. The fact that you still push this narrative only compounds your scummy behaviour. I don't really care if you drop Stephanie's vote, it won't change the fact I'm voting for you Jared. This seems like some desperate attempt to draw attention away from you, but I have to ask, what kind of vouch are you looking for?
  17. I highly doubt that the vigilante targeted Stephanie on Night One, unless you're suggesting both the Vigilante and the Scum decided to target Stephanie, or that both decided not target anyone? There's no reason for the Scum NOT to kill on night one. From what I was told, they were given a "successful" message on Stephanie during Night One and a "successful" message on her during Night Two, even though they suspect she was not targeted Night Two. Since there was no deaths on Night One, the Doctor inferred that Stephanie had been the target of a scum Night Kill. The Doctor had no idea of the second mafia group on Night One, and has been in contact with Stephanie alone. I trust the Doctor well enough to believe their claim.
  18. I believe the one you're talking about was the Spanish Inquisition mafia, where the town had to lynch or kill the Inquisitor, as everyone was town, and everyone kept turning up town.
  19. I'll admit it, whenever I play Overwatch I tend to play Mercy or Lucio depending on the game mode, if only because most players don't understand team composition, and Hanzo and Widowmaker should NOT BE PLAYED ON OFFENCE TOGETHER WHAT ARE YOU DOING TEAM?!?!
  20. I do have reason to vouch for Stephanie. Stephanie was the target of Day One's Night Kill. I've been in contact with the Town Doctor, and they've relayed this information to me.
  21. You have continually split the vote by voting for Stephanie. You could've helped yesterday by voting for Oldman or Tony, and still you continued to split the vote by voting for Stephanie, a lead that would lead nowhere. You cannot deny this, as the voting evidence is there. As far as I am concerned, you voting for Stephanie for a third day in a row is the flat out scummiest thing I've yet to see. I have in fairly good confidence reason to believe Stephanie isn't scum, and you continually hammering on her, as well as your lack of confidence in the one power you have, your vote and the power to lynch, has not helped in the slightest. We as a town NEED a lynch today, and between Tony and Jared, Jared's the scummier of the town. Vote: Jared Hartman (Kwatchi) I'm shocked that people are not voting. At this point, if you haven't voted, you're withholding for a reason. The fact that the town is this quiet worries me. The scum have already seemingly grabbed some of you by the ear and are leading us to slaughter.
  22. While the party mulls over their next move, Karie downs two Grand Tonics. "Keep thinking it over, guys. That being said, I think I've nearly got it..."
  23. Ever heard of The Resistance? That could be an interesting game to try and replicate, although it'd have a smaller group size and each "day" would be quicker.
  24. Karie nods in appreciation. It'd been awhile since she felt like a party wouldn't tear itself apart by the seams without her babysitting. "I see what you're getting at Throlar. I think I've got it, but we'll see where each of us get."
  25. I'd have to agree with you. If this ever gets implemented into a game I'll ensure that the Yandere dies with the Senpai.
