Thothwick created SOW, the whole anti Witch thing, so the song is about him, not Thormanil. If you've seen Madoka Magica, the magicals girls fight off witches, which's where the connection is. Sorry for the confusion.

I want to see Thothwick as a Sailor Scout now. Fighting witches by moonlight Fighting more witches in daylight Steals all the loot in a tough fight He's the BA known as Thothwick! It doesn't need to be Kawaii. Look at Madoka Magica. That took the sub-genre of Magical Girls and turned it into a great Shakespearean tragedy. It's all up to interpretation.

What about a Magical Girl-esque expert class? Bonuses against demons and and unholy monsters, and party protecting abilities, similar to shield? In other words, a buffed up paladin who loses their group healing abilities in favor of self healing and buffed attacks in general, but in particular to unholy and undead creatures. As well as witches. And it needs Kyubey.

I think Minstrel covers the healing niche nicely, actually. Minstrel is the definitive support class in my mind. Their whole strategy is to buff the party through songs and heal when necessary. They can still attack rather well actually, but their roots lie in boosting the party through status effects and healing. The problem I think is that it's a minstrel. I think the connotation that every minstrel has to play the lute and frolic like Sir Robin's troupe is rather unnecessary. I actually have a quest in the works where a minstrel joins the group who owns a guitar and rocks out to all of their songs. If you in real life had an option to be a minstrel, who plays songs and buffs the party, or a dragoon, and got a dragon that breathes an elemental attack, gets stronger as you level up, and can eventually carry the party, which would you pick?

I might host a Shadeux quest at sometime. I mean, I have a PC who's father works with the Shadeaux, I'm certain I could work something up.

Sarge has no class, he's a black knight. Canooner might work well with Sarge. I can't see him as a dragoon.

Doesn't mean we can't prep them. Items specific to a single class have been thrown out before they were brought in. I remember a Necromancer specific item being dished out before we had any expert class characters, why not dish out songs as well? Make the songs entertaining too.

I was lucky enough to see it in Stratford a few years back, orchestra seating. I rarely say that something was amazing or awe-inspiring. I did for that one occasion after the show. As well, song ideas. Sandy has said that songs can be created by QMs, but I at least haven't seen them yet. Any chance we could see some songs get produced? Any ideas for songs?

I'll have to look those up. I heard Spring Awakening is really good, but haven't heard the soundtrack. I was considering doing something from Jesus Christ Superstar for Angelic Aria, potentially Superstar (my favourite musical no less, anyone wanting to know why can pm me ) Also, yes, I must now change my repitoire once the holidays roll around.

I'm trying to put enemies to sleep, not stir up all the chickens in Eubric! I also noticed the longest song, Dirge of the Phoenix, which will probably be Let the Sunshine from Hair consumes the most ether, while Nanny's Lullaby, or Hush Now, Quiet Now is the shortest and consumes the least ether. Neat!

Dirge of the Phoenix would work for Bohemian Rhapsody. I was also thinking of using Let the Sunshine In from Hair, one of the few songs I really love from that musical.

I could easily see Karie go Necromancer if she became corrupt enough in a vain effort to resurrect her sister. I think people need to find ways in which they can jump into a class. Karie does have a reason besides "it was the only thing available" for going Witch which I haven't stated yet, but it does tie back to 70 (like everything else does at the moment ) As a side note, I'm looking through the song list for Minstrel and have a few ideas for actual songs Karie would sing when used, similar to how some of our mages have actual spells they use when a certain number is rolled. Of course, and I'm trying to make them relevant to Karie in someway, and all from musicals, but that's not necessarily the case with some. "Yeah, be careful out there." As soon as the door slams shut, Karie lets out a deep breath. She wiped the make up off her face and begins to change. She didn't know how to deal with Sorrow. The lingering feeling of anger mulled about in her head, yet she wasn't sure how to deal with the revelation that she was related to the man who allowed Patricia to run her sister through and that he wanted to make amends, or the possibility that Kayla forgot her promise the last day she saw her, nineteen years ago. She got into bed more confused than ever, and began to sleep...

Talk about lonely. Karie isn't sure what to make of Sorrow. Her potentially closest surving relative was a homeless hero who camps out during the winter and sleeps around the hall, go figure. She remembers seeing his mangled hand. Who would simply leave glass in their hand? Infection was bound to hit him sooner than later. "Sorrow, I think I'm going to take a nap. I've had an exhausting few days, and I need some sleep. You can leave whenever, and feel free to keep the booze you have. Have a safe walk... well, to wherever it is you call home." Kaie gets up and places her domino mask on the table. She grabs a damp towel off the counter and begins to wipe off the make up on her hands.

If only those bridges would last... Karie took another drink from her bottle of hard lemonade before continuing the conversation. "So where do you live?"

"We've only been dating for... what a day, two maybe? He treats me well, yes. If he didn't I wouldn't be with him." Karie sits down and opens up a bottle of lemonade. "Look, I'm... oh what's the word I'm looking for? Irrational. I believe others take me as being irrational. Perhaps threatening to kill you was a little much, and I am still angry... but Arthur was right. Killing you wouldn't have gotten me anywhere. If anything I'm confused you decided to follow me back to my place. I guess things were different four hundred years ago." Karie put her bottle to her lips, but put it back down before drinking out of it.

Karie grips the door handle. "He's not a... okay, he was a vigilante, and he was a leader, but crimelord isn't the proper word. He's aligned with the Watch now. He's doing good for the city. Ulric is just in it for his own means. He used my sister. Masson wouldn't do that to me. He cares about me, and I can prove it." Karie moves over to Sorrow and places the Diary entry on the table for him to read, crossing her arms afterwards with a worried look on her face.

Karie returns from the washroom and makes her way to the wardrobe, flinging it open and looking for her sleepwear. "So, how's the lemonade? I haven't tried any of it yet and was saving it for a rainy day, so to speak."

"No, of course not, what would make you think that?" He's onto me. Karie gets up and heads for the washroom, yawning. "Yeah, there should be a few bottles in there, as well as a few bottles of wine and some juice. If you feel like mixing, feel free." Karie closes the washroom door, and the sound of a lock clicking into place echoes through the room.
