"Noel, consume a tonic and send back our linguist, Pepe, and Nuitan and Lyren. Sorcha too, if she wishes."

"Um, we still need Noel, Sorcha, Drucilla, Syrio and Hymnessamine. Also, Nuitan, can I get my items back? My staff, the tonic and the Herbal Infusion? Pretty please?" Karie playfully says to Nuitan.

Karie smiles seeing the two boys returned to each other. Maybe things were looking up. "We have the Archives, as well. Not to forget the History room. We promised Abbot his artefact. I think we have enough people here to get back to Eubric. Nuitan, a deals a deal. You said when we reunited you and Lyren you'd be okay with returning to Eubric. I hate to be a stickler, but perhaps now would be an opportune time to get these two home. And if we're playing round up, our group wants Noel so we can... you know, round up students."

Karie turns to Lyren, noticing he's not all that interested in her outfit. She ponders for a bit before taking the moment to potentially gain something. "Lyren, right? Is it possible I ask you a favour? Perhaps your father knows of me: I got clustered together with two idiots who backstabbed me and your house and gave a shipment of bombs you had us look for to the Shadeux. It was never my intention to do so, and because of those two screw ups I may have looked bad in the light of your house. I've wanted to expand my career in music for a long time, and when I heard the prospects of your father's house having the ability to teach others how to use it in combat, it's something I've really wanted to go for. If there's anything I can do for you, I will, but I would greatly appreciate it if you could send a good word in for your father about me."

You're level one. You shouldn't have to worry too much about these things yet.

My reaction: I'm going to assume the cold doesn't bother her anymore as well?
-
I'll fourth the sentiment. I'll often add a few immunities to my own opponents, but Immune to Negative Effects is really frustrating as a witch who specializes in dishing out negative effects. What's the point if I can't do anything?

I'm certain the party will have an opportunity to remedy those mutations at some point. Right?

QM Note: Would someone like to post an action for Hoang so I can run the round? At this point all your enemies are covered, so just sticking him on someone should do the job.
-
Strategy. It all depends on the battle, QM, and the party. You'll note as the game goes on the strategizing gets insane. The final fight in 79 is probably the most detailed I've ever had to go into with a battle order. You can sign up for as many quests as you want, however you can only go one, so there's no reason not to sign up for a quest unless you're not interested in it.

A flock of heroes swarm to the quest board like buzzards over their prey at the prospect of potential gold and increased reputation with the house Shadeux. The document is now scrawled with scratches and signatures. Current Sign Ups for Quest 103: Alfendi Lupine Strikes Again! Not that I'm aware of. If you want to share ideas, you're more than welcome to.

How to Train Your Dragon 2 Perhaps a full blown review isn't the appropriate thing for the time being, but HtTYD2 manages to surpass the original in almost every way. With satisfying character development and a story that manages to pull at a whole lot of emotions, if you were a fan of the original film, How to Train Your Dragon 2 is a film not to miss. What's with Dreamworks and making such excellent second instalments that surpass the original? Shrek 2, Kung-Fu Panda 2, How to Train Your Dragon 2...

I believe someone's creating a newbie quest at the moment. 103 was designed with higher level heroes in mind. I doubt you will get on, but it shouldn't be too long before a level 1 quest rolls around, what with the influx of new players.

Karie glares at Sorrow in disagreement before moving close enough to the door crack to avoid getting hit with anything and looking, allowing her cleavage to be front and centre. Promiscuously, she speaks to the boys. "He's right! I can't see you like this, boys, and neither can I squeeze through! Why don't you open the door an itty, bitty bit more, just for me? A genie's one thing, but she can't grant every wish, if you know what I mean, growl! Don't make me wait out here for you!"

Battle Order: >Darksten vs. Murkwood Mauler- Shield/Crit (Murkwood Mauler, Spectral Spinner A and B: 11 damage. Murkwood Mauler KO'd) Hoang Anh vs. Spectral Spinner B- Shield (Party covered from damage next round) Kianu vs. Jazzy Cymbalroot- Crit. (4x2+4=12/2=6 damage) >Deus vs. Spectral Spinner A- Damage (6/2-1=2 damage) Darksten's stupor proves even more effective as he fires of three shots from his crossbow, taking out the rowdy Murkwood Mauler and damaging his to arachnid friends. Hoang readies his stance to protect the party for the next round as his target, one of the Spectral Spinners, tries to get close enough to him to strike. Kianu strikes the Cymbalroot, only for her damage output to be less effective than she thought. Her weapon seemed to only do minimal damage to the plant. Deus, managing to get the spider webbing off from his feet, doesn't have enough time to the spider leaping onto his person and striking him viciously. He manages to get it off, but not before dealing him some wounds. The battle continues with three enemies remaining... "<GAH! NO! Change in class. She went from ranger, to evoker, to hunter?, back to evoker, to druid, back to hunter?, then to harlot. I think.

Allow me to point you to Karie, who went from revealing clothes with a corset and boots, to a tight, form fitting leather catsuit (that belonged to her sister), to fully covered in ninja wear, to a sweater and cape in goth colours, to a skimpy and rather revealing dress with glitter abound.
-
"Alright, let me try something. If this doesn't work, we'll need to find some alternative..." Karie ducks behind a pillar and slips on her Glittering Dress, feeling slightly exposed. "Give me a second to get into character." Hoping on the spot and clearing her throat, Karie makes her way to the doors and speaks to the rogues in a promiscuous tone, raising her pitch and sounding more flirtatious. She managed to get a bit into character, acting a bit more perky and provocative. "Won't you let someone like me come in? Someone who's all alone with a bunch of lowlife Heroicans? I could use a bunch of young, strong, rebels like yourselves? The thought of it makes me anxious to see you face to face. Won't you boys let me come in?"

Karie grimaces at the letter, both in terms of it's context and it's crude writing. She leans into the rest of the party. "Why don't we bluff this? We can claim we're getting more gold and meet up with the rest of the party. We could use an extra hand, and we can also meet up and clear the Upper East Wing. They won't do anything if it'll hurt their chances at getting gold."

Looks like I need a refersher myself! Bound- Binds the targets feet for the next round, making them unable to switch rows or use close range weapons. So technically, you're only bound for this one round, and not three. Fixing.
-
Karie shoots a Z-Mail to Heckz. Status report? What's going on up there? If you've got any kids you want to send back, meet us up in the Auditorium: we got an issue. "We'll wait and see what he responds with. Hopefully their not all dead..."

I don't mind the idea, but I don't want it becoming commonplace. Maybe every once and a while's fine, but it makes things too complex. I can understand using it with Babeleth, though, since the place is basically an ether cesspool.
