Sandy, I think at this point you know how I feel about this battle, and I'm finding it hard to enjoy when we've been here for over a week now with no real progress. Is it possible you can autoroll until the doors are defeated, or someone gets knocked out?

QM Note: Someone pointed something out in the General Discussion, so in order to keep the fight fair, Special 1 now lowers the players health to two.

The light travels down the path their on to a point where it something stops it's path, a split in the road it seems. QM Note: Perhaps I should've been more clear. Lamps can be placed on intersections and corners, and the light they emit travels in a straight line, as well as in all directions possible. Per example, if I placed a lantern on an intersection going North, East, and South, the light would travel in those three directions until it hit a wall. Take a turn to try it out if you need a visual. As well, take note that you must complete the puzzle with the least amount of lamps possible. You get multiple attempts. I don't think it'd be fair if I just gave you one chance. Also, I'll post the brighter image when I get a chance.

Kianu Level 5 Female Satyr Cleric *Immune to Poison up to 1* *Listens to Darksten* HP: 10/10 (6+3) Ether: 9/13 (6+3+3) Gold: 30 Equipment: Elderwood Branch (WP: 4, Wood Staff, suitable for Kianu), Woodland Gown (Ether: +3, grants immunity to Poison up to 1 damage, Body wear, suitable for Kianu), Satyr's Pipe (Grants the user animal talk, accessory, suitable for taurians) Inventory: Tonic x2, Potion, Venom It doesn't take long for a foul stench to rise into the party member's noses. A stagnant, decaying smell wafts in the air as the foliage around them begins to turn thicker and wetter. Vines and moss cover the trees and the forest begins to turn darker and darker as the ground becomes soggy and damp. Looking up, little to no light makes it through the trees above, and occasionally the party can hear rustling and skittering about them. "Dad told me to never come to this place. I can see why. We're at the edge of the Misery Mire." Looking around, Kianu notices that something's amiss. "Crud. We've got a problem. The path ahead is too dark to progress. We don't know what's in there..." Looking around, she stumbles upon a few lanterns, turning them around and inspecting them. "I think we could use these, but we still need to decide where to put them..." Lighting the Way Ahead lies the Misery Mire, a foul and dark place with a reputation equally horrifying. The party needs to use the fewest lamps possible to light up each path, indicated by black lines (assume the diagonal lines are straight for the purpose of the puzzle, and start and end at their respective intersections). Where should these lamps go? Each member who participates will receive one full level of experience. QM Note: A Puzzle! Purpearl can notice that his weapons have been laced with poison, a fine layer smothered on each blade. Moving to Nicole, Matthais looks around for the Fireball Extraordinaire... only to realize it's not anywhere around! She must of slipped upstairs and placed it in her room when the party wasn't paying attention. Leaning down and checking Nicole, Matthais finds no wounds, nor any trace of poison. She'd be okay. "I knew for *sniffle* months my day of reckoning was coming! I've heard something similar happens in inns at least once! First the Albatross, and now here! Eeep!" It seemed Justin was just a coward in general. "I prefer not being charged at by a bunch of swordsmen. Now, allow me to finish my job, and we won't have any trouble." "Do not judge one by their looks, paladin," the assassin hisses,"did your mother not tell you it was rude to judge a man by the way he looks? And the questions you ask are all irrelevant to the situation. This man is an arms dealer. He just so happens to supply for the few gangs not under Wolfgang control. The weapons he sells harass and abuse the innocence, and I've been hired to end his dealings. Permanently. Let me finish my job, and there doesn't need to be any more bloodshed." The party gets ready to leave, stretching and moving. As they do so, the man at the bar suddenly moves away from it and gauntly strides towards the table next to the bar. In one swift motion he knocks the woman sitting by the stool onto the floor, then motions towards Nicole, knocking her out. They both looked like they'd be okay. People begin to rush towards the door screaming as the hooded man grabs the man sitting down and reveals his weaponry. He slams him into the table, knocking it's content onto the floor and causing the woman to get up. "Gah! I knew it would end like this! I knew it!" The man turns to the rest of the inn and yells in a beckoning, yet scratchy voice. "SILENCE!!! Everyone remain calm. This man is the reason I'm here. If you'll all give me a moment of your time and remain seated, I'll leave you all in peace. I have no quarrel with you." The man replies in a surprising cocky tone, still grinning despite his situation. "No quarrel-GACK!!" The hooded man presses his neck against the corner of the table, the cocky man clearly in pain. "You will remain silent, hoodlum. You know why I am here-" The woman the cocky man was dealing with finally interrupts, speaking in a somewhat slurred accent, yet she seemed sober. "Just wha' the hell do you think you're doin'? This man's doin' nothing wrong. Him and I are only dealing with business-" "Business is the exact reason I'm here." The assassin eyes drift towards the heroes, glaring at the group intensely. As he does so, the businesswoman notices them as well. "Lay off me and let me finish my job. I want nothing to do with you lot." "Heroes, do somethin'! He's going to kill him!" The party was running out of time. What will they do?
