It'd been two weeks since Karie had been seen around the hall. Before departing, she ensures Masson is okay by himself before hugging him and telling him she'll be okay. She looks back at her house taking it all in before hearing a familiar whine. 'Mreooo-eeew. <Take me with you. I'm bored, and the human you court isn't as snuggly as you are.>" "Hershey, stay there and look after the house, okay? Good kitty." Karie scratches Hershey beneath the ears before making her way to the hall. --- Returning once again, Karie notices a rather empty hall. It had seemed quiet on all fronts. She also lost her round stomach, and it was clear there were rims under her eyes. "Anyone seen Arthur? I've got his stuff." She yells to no one in particular. "That and Darksten. I got business with him." While waiting for a response, Karie signs up for Quest 138, adding her status as a "True Hero".

Not that I know of, but it probably has some sort of Sun Elf ties to it, considering Blackgull's partner could've given one out as a quest reward.

Heroica RPG - Unlimited Quest: Fields of Glory

"I'd appreciate it if you guys would stick around at the hall for a few minutes. Unless one of you wants the Skull Shield, I'll split whatever money we get on it." Karie spends her Glory Points on two Phoenix Incense and a Decamodifier. (I believe that leaves me with 2 Glory Points?) "I believe you owe me a Medal of Valour, Matthais?" Karie inquires. Karie removes the Medal of Valour from Matthais's person. (Seeing how he hasn't been online since the 25th, unfortunately. ) -

Karie snags up all the loot and begins to look things over. "Okay, well, give me a second. I know what I'm doing here." Loot Distribution Purpearl- Sapphire Matthais- 3 bones, venom, Karie- Smelling Salts Skrall- Smelling Salts Althior- Winged Sandals Darksten- deadly venom (from last battle) Karie stretches as she looks around the cliffside, admiring the view. "You know what, guys... it's getting late. Why don't we head back and get going. Let's allow some other poor saps get eaten by whatever's lurking around here." Karie sarcastically grins as she gives her crew a moment to rest. -
None taken. I kind of have to agree with this statement. I guess the only issue afterwards is what do you make the Shadeux Expert class? I'm going to sneak on over to the Expert Class thread and talk there too. *sneaksneaksneak*

I have no intention to since it doesn't fit into any plans I have for my characters, but I just have a problem with the class. It wasn't an attack on any player, and if it felt like such I'm sorry. It's just a class that frustrates me on it's principles, not it's mechanics.
-
It says that items can be used on dragons, so I'll drop it, but it's another reason the class irks me. It's a good idea in theory, and the mechanics are fine for the most part, but in my opinion the ability to switch in and out of the class with zero consequences when handling a dragon bugs me. Now it seems like we need a book called "How to Poison Your Dragon". I still seriously think we need a way to have the PC start with a dragon egg and not an already hatched dragon past level 40. The class is about raising and creating a bond with a dragon, and I feel it's just one of those classes where instead of benefitting by sticking with it and watching the dragon grow, it's best to just leave it until you're at an extremely high level and reap the benefits of not doing a thing, because an incredibly large, mature dragon is going to instantly trust a random stranger.
-
So dragons are immune to poison? Doesn't say so in their stats. I don't want to get into an argument over how dragons breath their breath weapon, because one, it's not that important, and two, different dragon species probably have different ways of using their breath attack. Also, not all dragons breath fire. Some breath lightning, others spew water, some exhale frost, depends on the species.
-
No to the hands, since they don't count as a weapon, and you need a weapon to use poison.
-
I vote against this. Why would you actively poison the dragon you're calling a companion? And how does that even work? You poison it's breath attack? So you put the poison in the dragons mouth?

I think Kiray's a little too bright. It almost feels like someone who's not sure if they want to go Black Knight or Paladin and takes the middle ground. Although, the black and silver helmet is super snazzy, and I like the shield choice.

OOC: I'm not sure why you rolled the die four times. Karie's lucky, but the Bugbears aren't Jinxed. It should've been the Critical Poisoned Hit, dealing 26+30=56 damage plus jinxed and poisoned 1. Unless, you know, you want to keep the Shield, which I'm okay with. -
Annienal takes the armour, leaving her with 80 gold. "Thank you once again, um... sir." With that, Annienal heads to the marketplace.
-
Doth are speaking to Annienal. "I would. Here... um, 150 gold." Annienal places the gold on the table.
-
Noticing a lack of interest from Warlen, Annienal moves to Monk Pretzel and carefully counts 150 gold to make sure she has it. "Um, sir, are you still selling your Heavy Armour?"

I don't believe you've signed up for the quest, Endgame. Better get on that.

How is Minstrel a sex based class? Oh, wait, Karie's going into it. That makes much more sense now. After I've moved onto Minstrel, it'll be just you, mate. Make me proud and make people question your loyalties!
-
I don't know. I feel it's time I unleashed Karie on another Endgame quest and just wreck stuff up one last time as a witch. But also . Seriously, I'm going to miss rocking Witch Karie. I've been playing the class for almost two years, and I don't regret a thing. Keep on witching on, Vind. Heroica needs a witch in it's halls to screw QM's over.

Annienal unleashes a quiet sigh, it's sound echoing from her helmet. She steps up from her table, leaving her helmet visor down, trying her best not to slip down the stairs as she approaches his grace in an attempt to alleviate the situation. "Um... I'm sorry about this... particular individual. He's been gone for awhile, and something seems to have... changed. My name is Annienal Anavar. It... it's a pleasure to be in your presence, sir." Annienal bows to the king. "You will have to excuse me, but what is your name, sir?"

Where's the Heavy Armour in your inventory? I don't see it.
