  1. Annienal signs up for 139 before returning to her seat, closing her helmet's visor leaving nothing but an encasement of shadows where her eyes were.
  2. "Urk! If someone can get me back up with a remedy, I can jinx some enemies! We need our bases covered! Althior, do you think we could unleash some of your undead on the Barghests? We need to give ourselves some room here, and those undead can take care of a few of our enemies. Matthais, get off those stupid Bugbears, I've got them!... or at least, I should have them if someone remedies me!" If Karie is remedied, she retrieves the Unlucky Horseshoe and whips it at the Bugbear Scouts. If not, she targets the Aepyornis A from the back row. I'll post a battle order once I know what's going on with everyone else. Those mountain goats stunning us is going to set us back a little, but we can fix that if we move ahead carefully.
  3. I'm tempted to sign Karie up, knowing there's going to be some hostile interactions with some of the characters. Then again, there's also the reward of a Letter of Recommendation in Endgame's quest... oh, I can't decide!
  4. OOC: You forgot to deduct the 56 damage from the Sylph. "I've got the Sylph." Karie states, grinning as she gains the upper hand. Karie strikes the Sylph with the Blazing Palm from the front row. Same Battle Order
  5. Darksten targets Aepyornis A from the back row. OOC: CC hasn't been online since the 17th, so I hope no one minds if I post his action.
  6. You have two options. 1. Boot him. You're down a PC, but it's a clear and obvious notion to other QMs to avoid this player in the future. 2. Mark him as Inactive, and allow another PC to dictate their actions in battle. I've done this before, and it worked rather well. The party still has their member, that PC simply doesn't receive their loot, or reward. EDIT: Seeing how he was last online today (I assume you're talking about Rconn0?), it'd be wise to send him a PM, but mark him as Inactive for the time being.
  7. *stops sipping from drink* Sorry, what, someone call me? Oh yes, he seems quite excited!
  8. Karie continues to strike the Sylph with the Unlucky Horseshoe from the back row. If she hits the Sylph, she switches to her Blazing Palm and strikes the Sylph again from the back row. If not, she strikes the Sylph with the Unlucky Horseshoe a second time from the back row. Same Battle Order
  9. There's nothing really new here, and even if there was, the additional ether is way too much, and the Battle Style is pretty unnecessary. When I think of Warlord, I think of a class that's melee focused, not healing. That and it just feels like you want a class that only you can play, since you've brought it up to me what classes you're thinking of playing should you toss Mhinak. All the previous expert classes needed some form of rep or an item in order to obtain. This feels like a half cooked Master Class. At this point, I feel as if we have more than enough expert classes. Some of them haven't even been offered yet! I'd seriously enjoy seeing more Expert classes being offered at this point in the game, though, seeing as how most players are reaching their 30's.
  10. Annienal quickly moves her hand away from the dragon before gently putting it back down on the table. "Um... sorry..." She says to it, still admiring the creature, although wary of it's potential wrath.
  11. "Karie? So that was her name! I, um, think I know who you're talking about. The last time, and I guess by definition the first time I met her, she seemed a little... grumpy. She seemed to be rather far into her pregnancy, although I wasn't entirely sure." Annienal muses. Annienal manages to take her one gauntlet off in an attempt to touch and potentially pet the dragon in front of her, bringing it slowly to dragon to see. "H-hello there!" Annienal felt awkward not knowing the dragons name, but she was rather elated to at least get this close to a young dragon.
  12. "Okay, let me make my own luck here..." Karie whips out a Nostrum and drinks it from the back row, then proceeds to attack the Sylph from the backrow. Matthais repeats. Battle Order Repeats.
  13. Annienal puts her hand slowly out to the golden dragon, trying to be patient with it and hoping it will climb onto her. She tries to be calm around it, despite her obvious joy. "I find them rather fascinating. I always wondered what it'd be like to be one... the ability to fly around the world without so much as a care... not much responsibility... I mean, um, still, it's just a fantasy." Annienal blushes, seemingly caught in a moment of daydreaming. She looks over to the continuing moral crusader Lind and his debate with Vind.
  14. "Oh, well... I see." Annienal twiddles her thumbs, trying to think of something to ask. The fact of the person sitting beside her being undead was beginning to crawl up her like a vine. She felt somewhat worried but thought it too rude to get up. "What's your opinion on dragons?" "I'm asking to buy it. You're, um, already human, so you won't need it, but I can put it to good use. 150 gold for it, and you get money to barter with." She looks into her pouch of coins and begins counting out 150 shinies.
  15. "Wouldn't that just make him look like an undead human?" Annienal questions. "I'm, um, still willing to buy it off you, if you're looking for cash."
  16. I find it a little awkward that after talking with Sorrow for so long as Karie I now have to reintroduce myself to the character as Annienal. Only in roleplaying games, man.
  17. Annienal watches a large man snap at Lind, grabbing the scruff of his collar and shouting at him. She notices his dragon, admiring the creature's elegance. "Oh? Well, I've only ran into them once, and they just seemed like a bunch of rowdy teenager looking for a purpose. Then again I was sort of like that, except less rowdy and more reclusive." Annienal pulls out her notebook and begins jotting down the argument, trying to put her own spin on it, also taking in the man next to her recollecting the tale of his granddaughter being seduced and murdered. "You said you were a grandfather? I guess that makes you rather old. Would you, um, mind me asking how old are you? I mean, with that veil it's a little hard to tell." She asks as politely as possible.
  18. Annienal looked up from her book, seemingly uninterested in the ensuing argument between Flynn and Throlar. "If I, um, wanted to listen to someone try and enlist me, I'd go and listen to the Young Wolf Brigade picketing the streets." She comments to the white hooded individual beside her, not noticing his undead state.
  19. OOC: I've got control of Matthais as well for the time being. "I'll take the sylph for the moment. Matthais and Darksten, take the Aepyornis. I don't want to be contending with these guys running around and causing problems. But first, excuse me..." Karie uses a Smelling Salts, then uses the Unlucky Horseshoe on the Sylph from the back row. Matthais target's Aepyornis B from the back row. Battle Order Purpearl Althior Darksten Matthais Karie Skrall
  20. Annienal takes one look at Germ and quickly tosses him the Throwing Knife. "Um, yeah, sure, deal."
  21. Yeah, I'm going to hop onto the episode 100 love bandwagon and ride it until it dies. Which will probably be never. So yeah, that whole episode was insane. The Big Lebowski references had me in stitches, including The Dude and Walter's Cutie Marks, The Dude holding a White Russian, and Walter bringing a coffee can with him to the wedding. I wonder how the target demographic for this show reacted to this episode.
  22. Sex heroes? So you're looking for harlots? Oooh... shiny letter of recommendation! Sign Karie up immediately!
  23. She pointing out how bad your disguise was, at least to her.
  24. "Um... sorry. I got a nice sword and shield out of the deal, though." She holds up her new shield and undead slaying sword. She looks over at "Flynn". "Oh, it's just Lind being unknowingly offensive." She replies, sounding somewhat angry. She lowers her voice as he approaches. "He thinks he's in disguise, but elves generally don't grow moustaches, you see. Unless you have some amount of human blood in you. Like, um, Warlen over there." She points at him with two fingers. "Say, um Vindsval, do you have any need for any of these? I'm trying to avoid, um, hoarding weapons, and I thought maybe you could use one. Just make an offer if you're interested." She showed off her two weapons. -Sanctified Rito Longsword (WP: 4, Hits doubled against flying enemies, longsword) -Throwing Knife (WP: 3, throwing weapon)
  25. Annienal moves away from Lind, having made her point. "Miderun, you're... drunk." Annienal replied, sounding somewhat disappointed and shocked. She was hoping have some meaningful discussion with her friend, but it could wait until she sobered up. She holds out the throwing spear to Miderun. "If you want the spear I can take 70 gold for it, if, um, that's okay with you?"
