Does he have a level?

Karie seems to come out of some trance as she opens her eyes. She can feel her heart trying to rip itself out of her chest. She glances around, not sure what to do or say. "Um... okay. We'll skip the rest of it and go to ten." Karie readied herself for combat. "Sir behind the counter, get down, please!"
-
Karie looked down at Lind and briefly stops counting. "Told ya so." She turns back to the masked individual, drawing Sexy. "Five, six, did I mention I've slain demons? Seven..." Karie stumbles on seven. It seems something has caught her attention. She shakes her head and clutches her head with her left palm. "Not now, you little prick." She mumbles to herself.
-
Karie rolls her eyes towards Lind as she steps forward, looking determined and serious, clearly wanting to one up Lind. "I'm going to give you all one chance to get the hell out before my cohorts and I throw you out. Forcefully. I'm going to give you all to the count of ten. One, two..." Karie continues to count down.
-
"Hey, if you want to go headlong into fights without hearing what the other side has to say, be my guest. Just remember I'll be the one healing you when you get creamed." Karie muses, crossing her arms.
-
Karie steps back. "By all means, these men are yours."

Heroica RPG- Quest #137: Where the Dead Go to Live

"You mean "living people"? I believe there's a vew wandering around... although I know two are here on behalv of the Emerald Emperor and that silly card game of his." The captain scoffs. von Zarovitch's face curls into a frown. "Curious you would bring that up. Countess Lyudmila is considered the individual in charge ov running this town, mainly because she has the wealth to support it. She's none to particularly vond of the living, as most people here are. What I vind ovv is the vact that she's disappeared. Some people believe she's cooped up in her mansion, others believe she out in Värtland for whatever reason. Needless to say, we guards do get reports vrom her, so she's not dead. It's just nobody's seen her in weeks. Are there anymore questions, or may I go on my patrol?" A Side-Quest has been added to your Journal! Journal Current Time: Morning Day: One Side Quests: ~EXPLORING FELLCREST~ The heroes can explore the city to find hidden subquests. They can complete subquests to earn influence that allows them to explore further. Each day is divided into six sections: morning, midday, afternoon, evening, midnight, and the small hours. Most places are open and different events take place only at certain times of the day. The party can visit one section of the city per part of a day, so moving onto another area costs time. Resting consumes one entire section of the day, but different resting places offer varying benefits. Not resting at all for two whole days will cause fatigue, which causes random negative effects to be inflicted upon the party until they rest. As well, the party has three days before their portal back to Eubric closes. Should this occur, the quest will not fail, but you will need to find your own way back to Eubric. The portal will close on Midnight of the third day. -
Heroica RPG- Quest #137: Where the Dead Go to Live

The captain merely glares at Throlar and Vindsval, opting not to shake the half-giant's hand. He turns to Sorrow. "A map? What do I look like, a vendor? I'm certain you can find someone somewhere who sells maps. As for landmarks, to the east is East gate which leads to the town of Wailing Warf, and the Temple of Helvetia. To the south of here is the residential district and finally Lyudmilla's Manor. The southernmost point is the South gates which takes you straight to Vega. Although, I wouldn't go anywhere, seeing as the mutants are on the rise around these parts, not that you can since the gates have been barred shut from allowing people to leave. Lyudmila's orders." von Zarovitch seems to look pensively after mentioning Lyudmila. "The town's in a sort of loop, although there's a shortcut from the residential district to the Temple of Helvetia in the form of a large covered alley. Anymore questions?" "Well, shiver me timbers and blow me down! That house has been an issue with a lot of people in the town! Seemed to be where a large group of rodents where taking limbs and what not, but now that you've got them, we don't have to worry about it! I'm at least happy about that!" Derelict seemed to be incredibly impressed with the party's actions. -

Captain von Zarovitch straightens his posture on his horse in an attempt to make himself look more composed. "I'm afraid that peasant Makepeace vas more of a flippant con artist than she let on. My pay never came, and vhile I was gone my lair was ransacked by a bunch of no good "heroes". Make no mistake, vool, you bested me once, but I have authority here, and I will uphold this cities laws if I am to make some sort of a living in this afterlife I live." von Zarovitch snaps his fingers and points at Althior and Vindsval. "Vike so. Vies. You both weave similar tales, yet both contain many differences. One ov you states you're here because of a Sir Sorrow. The other, more mouthy one, claims they have business here. Which one is it? You all look guilty to me." von Zarovitch takes a moment and huffs. "Or perhaps it's because your halv-giant's an idiot. Seriously, you look like a tourist of some kind. You're going to get murdered if you wear that around here. Assuming the dwarv's with you, undead mage, I can see your stories working out. Very well. Welcome to Vellcrest. I would like to take your names in case of any further incidents. I would also like to ask if you have any questions about the town. I am here... I am here to assist you in any way I can." It clearly pains von Zarovitch to be assisting his previous enemies. "Did you say you dealt with the insects in that there house?" Derelict asks the heroes, sounding surprised. -
"Yeah, and not the kind of stuff you hallucinate when you huff Pixie Dust. Trust me, I know enough about that stuff to tell you all to avoid it and the fog like the plague." Karie stands up from the stool and stretches, looking strained. "I need sleep. Anyone else coming to the inn with me?" You won't lose the Encouraged effect. You lose it at the end of a combat, or if you get KO'd.
-
Karie looks around, knowing he's probably listening in some corner or shadow. "I... don't really want to." Karie finishes her drink, but it was clear she was still spooked by something.
-
Karie stares at the counter for a bit, trying to think about an answer. "The old man we found trapped under the rubble died." Karie responds, not making eye contact. "I believe you guys should know that in the fog I... encountered someone. Someone who shouldn't of been there, because he's dead."
-
Karie put the helmet down gently, taking to her drink. "Thanks." She tells the barkeep. She occasionally looks behind her, as if expecting someone.
-
Gary Coleman?
-
OOC: You mean his equipment? Karie looked pensively at her drink before making sure the Sandman was preoccupied. She picked up the helmet and looked it over, taking particular note of the inside.
-
Karie simply walks in and sits at the bar, ignoring Lind and the Sandman's inquiries. She looked strained and emotionally drained. "A drink. A stiff one." Karie told the bar keep.

Althior casts Scroll of Luck: Roll of 2- Success! Althior is Lucky. -10 ether. Vindsval casts Poison on Bifrost Blades: Roll of 6- Failure! -5 ether. Vindsval casts Poison on Bifrost Blades: Roll of 3- Success! -5 ether. Sorrow would try and pry the planks off, except the planks are outside of the house. Smashing the door repeatedly, Throlar manages to do enough damage that the wooden panels nailed to the door outside come loose, and the party pushes their way free. Standing on the steps of the house, the party takes in the arid smell of Fellcrest's air. The sky was a cloudy grey, and the sounds of a large town permeated the air. The group notices two individuals standing in the street, one who looked awfully scraggily with a greenish hue, and another who some of the party remembered instantly riding on a black steed. The horse's eyes were a blood red hue, and the horse itself carried an aura of death about it. "I'm telling you sir, someone is in that house!" "Derelict, I've had enough of your old sea stories. I was informed that the house had an infestation? Perhaps the creatures in their mauled a stray-" The vampire looked towards the party. As he grins, he bears his sharp, fanged teeth. "Well, well, well, what have we here? I can't say I've seen you two in awhile. Although, seeing how you are dead, human, I guess it was only a matter of time you came here... For the hooded man and the half-giant, my name is Captain von Zarovitch. I am the head of Fellcrest's guard. As head of the town guard, it is my duty to enforce the laws in this town, and entering private property is considered a crime here. Considering the house is abandoned, I still want an explanation as to why you were in there and what the noise was." He glares at the party for a minute, particularly Vindsval, almost as if he's scanning them. -

Fixed that too, I'll keep that info in mind. It's mainly for decoration. Update coming shortly! -
Karie wanted to ask Jinnipher if she wished to speak to her about something, but decided to let it slide for the time being. She looked towards the north, somewhat unsure of what lay ahead. "Lead the way, Jinnipher." Karie replies, motioning her to go ahead of her and sounding troubled. Karie looked like she'd seen a ghost, constantly looking to the ground.

Alright, I'm going to fix all this and roll the round. Sorry for this amount of screw ups. Math is hard. -
Karie comes to her senses, looking her dagger over. She looks around in a panic, only to realize the old man lying dead. She can't help but shake the feeling she's being watched from the shadows. "Jinnipher, come on, let's get out of here. We need to make it to Cenauri. There's nothing more we can do here." Karie states, sounding concerned and a little frightened.

Both have been noted, and due to this, Throlar and Sorrow are at 5 and 10 health respectively. I'll allow you some time to reconsider a possible strategy, since this if I roll now someone will get knocked out.
