  1. Nice, but I have a feeling that we're going to see a wave of mods in this set like what happened with the Volkswagen Camper some time ago, and I like that a little less.
  2. Wow, simply wow! I've been away from modular building for too much time and I wanted to do a Pizzeria, nut this Moc, really is so wonderful, I don't know if I really wanto to go any further. Great!
  3. Wow! Dear Sandro, it's really stunning, but you create an UCS just putting together something you already showed us with something new!!!! It's like the UCS Battle of Hoth of some years ago....
  4. Sure, but Lego makes sets in almost 2 years before putting in shops.
  5. Surely I can, but why Lego itself did not?
  6. I'm a little upset. It seems to me to be a little cropped. I mean, the body is not proportioned to the wings. The wings should have been larger.
  7. Hi to all! I made Dr Raw Flying machine from Hayao Miyazaki's old anime Mirai Shounen Conan. While I was gathering parts to build Arvo's Kaneda Bike,I was captured by the shape of the Pod Container and since then I decided it was the best solution for this MOC. Obviously the egg shape has been a big dilemma to reproduce, but at last maybe I find the best way to make it. Here it is. Hope you'll enjoy. 8. Hi to all, this is my new MOC. I'm still developing it and far away from the completition, but the very first step has been made. It's the Mach Patrol form Daitarn 3, an anime from the 70's. What I completed is the detachable canopy. Hope you'll like it. More is coming while I develope this MOC. Match Patrol by Mauro Cavinato, su Flickr
  9. Thanks
  10. Thank you! I had a hard work to polish the trans yellow glasses...
  11. Yes, but you can virtually build it on some Lego cad, and it could become gorgeous!
  12. I never tried to, but I think that if you try to make the roof by putting plates and tileson the sides of the structure you should be able to make the curve you need. Yes it will ben a series of steps, but it will resembles the original. ;)
  13. You should find another way to make the roof. It has not the same proportions of the original. The shape doesn't resemble the real one. https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mole_Antonelliana
  14. My idea partially started from there... but Classic Space was not so well-developed on old Idea books. Thanks
  15. Thank you very much! Mission Accomplished!
  16. Thank you! I really tried to capture the feeling of classic space, but it's not easy because we are used to the new parts now. I tried to build like a child, but at last I had to use Stud.io...
  17. Thanks
  18. Hi there, I made some little Moc in a Classic Space style and today I'm here to show you. I made these Mocs to complete my Classic Space diorama, so I tried to make them by using just parts from that era, more or less 1979-1987. The diorama is about 160 x 60 cms The first one is a kind of a Command space centre: The second one is a little complex because I wanted to create a refinery, consisting of an extraction center, a refining plant and the storage tank. The last one is a little vehicle for the transport of debris... That's all folks.
  19. Wow! Did you build it for real or just a render?
  20. This is really astonishing! Original facade with great details, it's really one of the best modular I've seen in the last months. Really a great work, I love it.
  21. This is just astonishing! great work... no words for it.
  22. I made something like this by taking photos of the crater baseplates, combining in photoshop and than colorizing in yellow. I will post the result.
  23. Ok, so you have been inspired by other works, but it is not an original work, because you said that the only way to make some details is to use solutions used by others. Let me say that I don't think so, because with the new pieces there are many more possibilities, among other things the same rear view mirrors could be made much better today. But in the end, what did you write on the Lego Ideas registration form? Did you write that it's your creation? Because this is not true, not completely true. At this point, take one of RoscoPC's F1, copy the bodywork without the internal kinematics and present it as your MOC ... It will not be perfectly identical, you will have been inspired, it will not have the interior, but if you present it on Lego Ideas as your own Moc, sorry, but you're lying ... Another point that really upset me is that you worked 1 year on this moc and you presented the 83 GMC Vandura, while the 83, shown in the first 2, maybe 3, TV series, was shorter, had a more muzzle short and pitched, non-aerodynamic rear view mirrors and many other details that you will certainly know, if as you say you worked 1 year on a project ... but in reality you kept the details of the 87. In one year of work, haven't you noticed the differences? I can assure you that for my part, after making the version of WillemG and seeing that it could be a good base, but it was too disproportionate to the original, I really went out of my way to be able to find solutions to create the '87 Vandura because compared to that of WillemG ('83) it seemed more racy. I spent hours looking for as much iconography as possible and days building the model with LDD ... Anyway, for me you can tell it how you want, others will judge. I have no intention of continuing on this subject. PS: as you edited your post 4 hours after mine, we can see it. My name was not initially mentioned and you changed the render of the Vandura too... don't take me for a fool....
  24. Strange indeed... what a coincidence... https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-13614/kevin8/k8301-a-team-gmc-87-vandura/#comments
  25. Thank you, unluckily it's the same conclusion I have found. I hope something more could be ready to print. I thoutght I could take photos of Crater baseplates, turn to a yellowish color and put a black sky...
