DC Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussions
adotnamedstud replied to Ezekiel2517's topic in LEGO Licensed
Well it is the only logical route as of now. Nightwing and Damian were made, Jason Todd's Robin had a horrible fate that they don't want kids looking up. Carrie Kelly and Stephanie Brown aren't considered mainstream enough either. So Tim is the most logical choice and they cannot make Red Robin yet because Tim MUST be the Robin in LEGO, I of course would love some more variation for the suit but we know that if he looks better than Batman, LEGO probably won't make him since they want the sets to be Batman based. Which is sad but may be subject for change in the upcoming years as this wave is VERY diverse. And I'd love to see a Red Robin figure soon. Because it still is technically Robin -

Also, on the LEGO Batman 3 boxart, I'd love to see that be Superman's grinning face it looks so great for the character. -

Sorry, but that is the most annoying thing I've seen all day. And Hulk_Smash. Thank you for planning on looking at the catalog again. It's a great opportunity for us to get more info and I cannot thank you enough. I can't wait to hear what new details surface. -
Destiny characters: Warlock, Titan and Hunter
adotnamedstud replied to exxtrooper's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
These are fantastic figures, but I have some bad things to say about them but it's really minor because I really like these. It's the color of the figs, although it is possible to have these characters. For some reason I like the iconic colors for some characters classes that were used for advertising the game. Like the tan Hunter class and the red Warlock, etc. But it's just me nagging as these are just superb and I love them.- 6 replies

Black Mask is a maybe. Yet, I think he is a more C class villain that means we won't see him for awhile unless the media gives him a kick to a B or A class villain. -

After a few years of being evergreened we may see more sets and such like we see in Star Wars. So, hopefully Superheroes stays on the menu for quite awhile. -
[Petition] Save LEGO the Lord of the Rings

I think we should wait until we get more news of the 2015 line. They might surprise us but it's highly likely with all the fan input. But if nothing does happen, out of curiosity I'll sign up.- 298 replies

Yeah, this wave is astounding. So much so that I forgot about the GL set . I can't complain about this wave. No Joker, excessive Bat-vehicles, reoccuring villains, etc. I guess the only thing to seal the deal of this wave is some pictures. I think I know someone who has a catalog too. I'll try really hard to see these new sets and try to get pictures everybody. I can't promise anything but I can try. And it'll be nice to have 2000x3000 prelim photos -

So, what sets are we all excited for the most? I personally think for me it's a tie between the Black Manta and Gorilla Grodd set. -

He clearly stated it. So, I'm going to assume these are the sets unless we as a community decided that 76028/76029 should be merged... Green Lantern vs. Sinestro (76025) – We’ve already seen details of it. Gorilla Grodd Goes Bananas (76026) – The set will include Wonder Woman’s Invisible Jet. Batman will be riding some sort of mech. Flash will also be included in the set. Gorilla Grodd is a bigfig. Black Manta Deep Sea Strike (76027) – Batman will be riding a Batsub. Black Manta will have a larger sub. Robin is tied up to something and Aquaman will be there to help rescue him. Darkseid Invasion (76028) – Not much detail here but Darkseid will be a bigfig. Superman is also in the set. Brainiac Attack (76029) – The set will include the Javelin which is the Justice League’s jet. Minifigures include Brainiac, Superman, Hawkman, Supergirl, and a Brainiac Drone. -
Thanks man! I'm glad you like it!

That would be awesome and I can totally see LEGO doing that. They just need to split a LEGO Banana in half and add a stud to it so they can put it in stud shooters. -

On the sub-topic of a new GotG line, who'd be willing to petition for these sets? Star Lord vs The Sakaarans ($20) Features a muddy Star-Lord, a Sakaaran and Korath. An opening for the temple which collapses rocks and another Sakarran turret and ship. The Kyln Escape ($50) Features a yellow Drax, Gamora, Minifig scaled Groot and 2 Guards. The build is the Warden Office which detaches from the tower and then some tables which can break in half, and a small cell which connects to the side of the tower. Rocket's Warbird ($75) Features Red Rocket Raccoon, Battle Damaged Star-Lord, Yondu, and Garthan Saal. The build is obviously the Warbird and a Star Blaster. The Warbird also features a "Baby Groot" as we now call him. I'll be more than willing to start a petition for a second GotG wave Back to the main topic. I'm really interested in the AoU sets. 5 Sets!? That's crazy but I love it. I can't wait to see all the Avengers we get -
Hmm, great idea. I think I just wanted some diversity and wanted it to be smaller so it could be a set but I could definitely see it becoming a set with that idea. Thanks! Love the inspiration and I'll make sure to edit them. I'm not too sure about having 8 racers as it'd be a fairly large set. I might make another set of them if it helps. I think with some more input I'll consider making them different.

Hello any renderers, I know I could probably do this myself but even after reading countless tutorials and trying to download the right software I just can't do it. I have an Ideas project that I'd really like rendered because the transparent pieces look awful with LDD's screenshots example: Sorry if it's any trouble but it'd really be a big help if someone could render my project. If you are interested, that's awesome and I'll send you the lxf!

Hey! Somewhere around 2011-2012 Impulse sets just vanished from the LEGO market. Thinking about it earlier today, was it a good idea for LEGO to do that? I think that the loss of $3-$9 dollar sets all around the board other than City is very sad. I think they missed LOTS of chances for money with that move. I could come up with dozens of ideas for great impulse sets that people would buy without a doubt. (ex. Superheroes sets) So, what are your thoughts on this?

Redux of the 1999 Speeder Bike set. One of the only sets that hasn't been re-done yet. I think the Droid Factory from Episode II would be pretty cool too. And a new Cloud City.

Do you think if we petition LEGO for a new wave of GotG would we get it? Sets I want to see are a proper Warbird ($75), The Kiln Escape ($50), and Drax vs Ronan ($20) -

Since all 5 of the 2015 sets had to be made last minute I assume it's safe to speculate we'll get 5 sets for BvS (3 at the least) One has to be the Batmobile, then a Batman v Superman fight set, Battle scene at the end of the movie featuring Gal Gadot if it's likely. And MAYBE The Batcave. If you look at the concept art (or fan art as it hasn't been confirmed) of the cave it doesn't look like it'd have play features. But then again we still have 2 years so somethings are bound to change... -
After stalking looking at your profile, I understand you had gotten into LEGO at SDCC. That's awesome! So you are fairly new to the community. I understand your love for the first things you got, trust me. I think everyone does (except for the kiddos introduced when Galidor was a thing). Just a quick question, do you own any sets that aren't exclusives? If not I highly recommend you get some. We've all been pretty rough as exclusives aren't our thing. And even with as much reasoning and complaining from both parties we still pretty much cease to understand that LEGO doesn't care unless something bad happens or they don't do well for the year. Which will never happen since comic-con is a trade show with people dressed in costume (I want to go to one but I feel like all the people "interested" in a certain thing haven't the slightest idea what I'd talk about DC Comic wise). I think the absolute best for certain collectors and the general LEGO fanbase would be to release variants. Like a Blue Nightwing, Red Son Superman, Mark 39 Iron Man, and Comic Ronan the Accuser. Those would be things the common LEGO fan would be fine without having. But as the Eurobricks community stands, I see we have 4 classes of LEGO fans. 1. Is the collector, not a bad person at all. But they get annoying when exclusives come around. 2. A normal LEGO fan, a pretty solid fan who likes building and collecting all about the same. We get disappointed about certain exclusives depending on the fanbase. 3. Builders, they don't care about exclusives as much as the other two classes and care more about good pieces that come in the small exclusive sets, etc. It's not a big deal for them exclusive wise until a black 1x1 stud w/ hole in the middle is released. 4. Bionicle fans, if it has no ball joints they don't care. I only think the collectors would really care about those exclusives. I'd love me all of the exclusives, but do I need them? Not at all, using them in MOCs would be nice and using the pieces for other figs would be a great thing. As of now, I don't really care about exclusives unless they are MAJOR characters or MAJOR variants (ex. Red Rocket Raccoon.) other than that exclusives aren't that bad.

Wow! Awesome! I hope LEGO releases another set like this some day. We need Endor Luke again

EDIT: PROJECT IS LIVE! Hello everyone! I'd like to present my MOC/LEGO Ideas project. It all started off as a Speeder I was trying to build in LDD with the new ball joints, I made it Ice Planet 2002 colors. I wasn't thinking I'd want to turn it into an Ideas project until AFTER I had made an Ice Planet 2002, Blacktron II, and Rock Raiders speeders. After that I had changed it up a lot into Ice Planet 2002, Blacktron I, and M-Tron. Then, I understood that these all racing against eachother would be cool. After MONTHS of trial and error I finally gave up... Until yesterday. I had decided that some obstacles weren't the best idea so this was born. After this was all made I was pretty satisfied! I had added all I wanted to and was proud of it. Now, do you all like it? I hope you do, because I know those robots are pretty excited! (Transparents aren't working too swell ) Please SUPPORT here: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/77217 Thanks for reading and looking! I hope you enjoy these as much as I do! - NuffSaid1996

It's fake but we can assume it's pretty darn close. Psqidexslizer248 Assuming the rumors are true, I'm hoping/expecting something like this for 76029 Brainiac Attack http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/Thread:348731 -

It's from a LEGO Batman 3 contest (No US entries surprisingly aka we aren't allowed ) Considering LEGO has limited combos for these figs I doubt it's a new hairpiece. Just zoom in and you can see they had a hard time photoshopping the Superman symbol off. Great find anyways! Good news: this is New 52 Superman (symbol size and recolored belt) so this means one of two things. 1. LEGO is too lazy to make generic figs for the generator and only crop off the curl in the hair for the New 52 Superman graphic 2. This basically confirms New 52 Superman for 2015.
