  1. Expanding on 2015 sets, what are your thoughts on the $12 set that we got absolutely no info on... What do you think it'd be? I would say it's New 52 Batman vs The Joker in one of his suits (exclusive) fighting in the Watchtower with a big monitor and a turret.
  2. Oh, I totally misunderstood. It also seems I got extremely defensive. Totally sorry, I can see where you're coming from. I guess Phoenix and Green Arrow are better examples.
  3. Darkseid was also minifig scaled in the LB2 files when you can access the character on PC. He looked great, I'm just coming out here and saying that I am not the biggest fan of big-figures and I think Darkseid would be treated better minifig scaled. It just seems like a more logical approach. Big-Figs just up the prices for sets which I don't believe is fun. I am in no way wanting to start a fight here, I just wanted to get my opinion out there. Big-Figs are great but we don't really need them.
  4. Not at all, it seems the Red Rocket Raccoon is actually very essential. Not considering you payed attention at all if you did watch the movie. It looks bad having the team all suited up and then just the casual Rocket. I could totally be fine if the Red Rocket Raccoon was in the SDCC set as long as we got the normal Gamora and Drax with the Milano. As that would've been WAY MORE movie accurate of a set. The battle against Ronan never even moved into the open space. I don't understand why they did that anyways. But assuming you did pay attention in the cinemas you would've understood my reasoning. Seeing it is pretty much one if not the biggest movie of 2014.
  5. But he isn't matching with the rest of the team. I'd be fine if his Yellow variant was in the Warbird but it's really hard to have a nice looking team without spending $15 for another Star Lord torso and Dark Red short legs.
  6. Every fig doesn't have to be a Big-Fig... Gorilla Grodd is perfectly fine in minifigure scale. Darkseid is perfectly fine minifig scaled. I just really care about the set's contents and what the builds look like.
  7. Exclusives are something where any way you go, people will hate you for it. I'd rather have none at all due to the cost of a trip to SDCC. That's totally cool some fans get really nice minifigures. BUT someone will always want it who didn't get the chance to collect it. I think these figs should all be released in sets in the future, but on the SDCC cards have a seal of approval that lets you sell the fig/card/and case $20 over the MSRP of the set they are included in. Therefor you make a profit if you only collect to sell. I like the idea of pre-ordering but too many people can take advantage of that and we'll get dozens of figs sent to one person... That's how the internet works really. I wouldn't mind if some exclusives were variants of figs. Like, Zur-Arrh-Enn Batman wasn't that big of a deal for me. But when you release figs like The Collector and Rocket all suited up, it's like VERY unfair. A lot of fans invest time and money into sets and essential figs like that... Add all 3 set costs and about $1500 you get roughly $1630 which is a load of megablocks because the entire GotG wave is $130. I really hate threads like this which just add lots of drama and un-needed fighting/bickering over things that are way too commonly bickered/fought over.
  8. It's nothing new, just a mix of random Robin pieces. And since Damian's is the newest most current torso they probably used that.
  9. Great MOC! I see clips on both sides... Are you expanding?
  10. T-16 Skyhopper is the most interesting one to me on the list. I hope we get some Womp Rats or Tusken Raiders in that set along with a red jumpsuit Luke.
  11. Probably this month. The wave should come out in January
  12. My source from awhile ago said the wave would infact be more diverse.
  13. If you look in the Batman and Robin one, Batman is dark blue rather than the normal black in the other photos. Not sure if it's just the render or another New 52 variant which would be odd. But I wouldn't mind both.
  14. I was just in San-Francisco. I wouldn't recommend staying in the Downtown a lot. I hadn't found LEGO there I hadn't checked all the Piers though (Which is probably the safest place in San-Francisco for travelers.) You may find luck in vendors but they aren't the nicest lot of people either. You should go to the Science Museum on the piers however. They have a nice LEGO Batman diorama that is a stop motion type thing. It's cool and it plays the '66 Batman theme music!
  15. But it messes up Justice League... The JL doesn't start with a 50 year old Batman!
  16. Since Superheroes are evergreened I don't understand why we aren't getting multiple waves a year...
  17. Well all Jurassic Park fans, Chris Pratt aka Emmet and Starlord will be getting his third LEGO minifigure. (Is this a record or something!?) On the BrickFan website there was an article ( http://www.thebrickfan.com/lego-jurassic-world-sets-confirmed-by-chris-pratt/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+LegoEverlasting-LegoReviewsNews+%28The+Brick+Fan+-+LEGO+Reviews+%26+News%29 ) Chris Pratt announced that his character "Owen" will be getting the LEGO treatment!
  18. Left to Right Green Lantern Blue Beetle I Wonder Woman Batman Superman Flash Green Arrow
  19. Really nice! Love the Batboat too
  20. The Mods already said we will split it and for good reason. Too much conflict on what subtheme is better and going off topic to comics and movies, etc.
  21. So Marvel has been releasing concept art and lucky fans have been able to get them. Well, if some fans got them all, they are VERY lucky to get this huge poster from combining all the art they got.
  22. That looks awesome! You may want to deeplink the photos from flickr which we did just get a handy-dandy flickr tutorial! http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=97921
