  1. Hello, LipanConjured. Welcome to Eurobricks, and have a great time!
  2. The Man with the Golden Gun is one of my favourites, especially because it has Sheriff J.W. Pepper, whose holiday is ruined by his second encounter with James Bond. It's a very silly film in the end, but it's great fun anyway.
  3. I'm not a fan of the black roof in combination with the dark red and tan - maybe make the building grey to match the other ones? Also, the first floor seems awkwardly taller than the ground floor.
  4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdUVn1OmQtc Their Satanic Majesties Request!
  5. Capt. Whatshisface said if there was a unanimous vote, he'd close the day early. I unvoted to make sure that if the other four who hadn't voted, voted for Esther, the day wouldn't end early. Needless to say, we haven't had as much discussion as I had hoped since.
  6. On principle, because I don't want the day to end early (we can have productive discussion still): Unvote: Esther Thompson (Esurient) Consider what Clay said about Tristan's quick turnaround with regard to Boris's egregious metagaming, and the egregious metagaming itself. I can sort of see how Tristan could have not understood at all, then come to some understanding of the vote in 15 minutes, but why did Boris resort to metagaming to vote for Esther? He could vote in order to: Punish softclaiming Force Esther's claim Vote for someone he actually thinks is scum But he went for the metagame "Esther is set to private" vote. Why? That's probably the worst reason to vote for someone if you have three (or possibly more) other good reasons to do so.
  7. Because you threatened to claim as a way of stopping the lynch on yourself, and according to the softclaim page on MafiaWiki The Silver City Handbook, that implied you have a NA. How more deeply were we supposed to read it? Thanks for playing games with us like that . I'm still leaning towards lynching you, since vanilla is not an easily confirmed or disproven claim, but I still have ~36 hours left to make a decision.
  8. Come on, Esther. You've already had a target painted on your back to the scum, and you're depriving us of information about what you actually do for us. Let's hurry up and claim.
  9. I heard the Stones were awesome at Glastonbury; what did you think?
  10. No, I haven't read the graphic novel of The Supernaturalist (or of Artemis Fowl). I think Artemis Fowl started getting silly as the series progressed - I think the first two books were perfectly sufficient. As for my own reading recently, I've been on another binge of David Baldacci and Agatha Christie: The Camel Club The Collectors The Hollow Sad Cypress One, Two, Buckle My Shoe Evil Under The Sun And Then There Were None
  11. I want to hear what Esther has to say and I want her to stop beating around the bush, so let's up the pressure a little: Vote: Esther Thompson (Esurient)
  12. It was terrifying dropping that wine, let me tell you! At least Abigail and I inherit enough money from Drake to buy a new bottle!
  13. I enjoyed The Supernaturalist when I read it some years ago. I agree that Artemis Fowl is a bit young, but it's always fun to read.
  14. Since everyone knows you have a power role, I say 'AYE' because you might as well finish off the job. Of course, if you think it's more bad for scum to know than it is good for town to know, claim in PM to someone you can trust (if you have someone to trust yet).
  15. Correct. I think Esther (and Damien) are wrong in this regard. A well-placed block or save. I mean, we presumably have a vig, third party and a scum killer in play, allowing three kills, but last night there was only one. Going from precedent, I imagine the vig chose not to kill on Night One. Why do you think so?
  16. Of course we know what Esther said yesterday, but she softclaimed much harder than Drake may or may not have done. Are you saying you think Esther is scum, and that's why scum targeted Drake instead of her? Please, be more to the point.
  17. I actually wouldn't be surprised if a Coyote or the third party (I can't tell from the pictures who killed Drake) targeted Esther and was unsuccessful due to a doctor or block action.

    MOC: Suburb

The building is just wonderful; I love the SNOT roof bit with the removable section in the middle, and the interior is very nice as well. The updated tricycle is fantastic as well.
  19. I went to Bricklink's catalogue and found that it's probably the same piece you think it is, though according to Bricklink it wasn't released in blue. Bricklink does include sets that the piece is part of, though. I hope that helps.
  20. Very nice, especially the "Charleston" 2CV. I like your little scene from For Your Eyes Only, as well!
  21. I've just been watching and getting my head around what's going on with Esther at the moment. Esther comes out with a boldly stated list of the people she thinks are scum, which is a little premature, I think. And she claims to have a night action, which to me is a good reason not to vote for her. I think this says it all. I'm going to give Esther the benefit of the doubt. Yeah, drunk Caleb, why did you drop your suspicion of Sheridan like a fresh hot pocket potato? Why do you vote for the person who claims to have a night action rather than the person who is mostly roleplay with very little content? I think you're just trying to sheep the bandwagon on Esther in the hopes of getting rid of a town power role. Vote: Caleb Norman (Captain Nemo) Aack! There's a gila monster in the ladies' room at the saloon, and it tried to eat my wig hair! Drake, come and kill it for me!
  22. Wow! The reaper is very faithful to the original, and the careful use of studs for texture on the building is very nice. The vaulted arches look great, too, and I love the dark red foliage on the tree. Great job, Legopard!
  23. I know, but can someone have a night action and be a scapegoat at the same time? And, yes, my idea does rely on the existence of a watcher or tracker and we don't even know if there is one here.
  24. Well, not the investigator since she'll turn up scum, but if she's scum, it's more likely than not she has a night action, right? And there are ways of finding out if people have night actions. Do scapegoats ever have night actions (I don't think they do, but I'm not certain)?
  25. The way you phrased it looked like a sly lynch suggestion. Just a kind of... stating the facts and not much else about Sheridan's claim early in the day. Gut feeling, nothing substantial to it. And yes, Esther, what my darling (sleazy, two-timing) husband said was what he said. Nothing special or suspicious about it, especially since it was in the Confirmation thread.
