I've also seen a Coral head available now. I've added all three to my spreadsheet, as well as the Trans-medium blue ID 228 figure.

Winter Village Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Paperballpark replied to Gearslover01's topic in LEGO Town
Personally I'd be happy with different cottage designs most years. -
I've seen the dark turquoise head picture, but there's no info at all as to where it's come from. I suspect the head will come out in a future set. I'll add it to my spreadsheet when there's more information about it.

Winter Village Sets - Rumours and Discussion

I'm calling it now - Winter Village Sewage Works ;) -
Thanks! Yes the kitchen is quite small I suppose - my excuse is that when I did the ground floor I'd only planned for the restaurant to use the ground floor, not the whole building! Still, it's only got 42 covers... :)

Having built the bumper car version of the new 3in1 Creator Ferris Wheel (as well as the other two builds), I can say that the bumper car build in that set is far too small. Something about four times the footprint would give a good space for playing with the cars, and there could be a lift-off roof for it too. That would probably fit into the price range mooted.

Yes, it's definitely a Pride set. I believe it's the colours of the 11-stripe Pride flag. It is an '18+' set though, so it's clearly not aimed at children :) There's only one body part in it which we haven't yet had unprinted - the Bright Light Blue/Light Royal Blue torso. It should be a good value 'starter set' for monochrome figures though.

I've updated my spreadsheet with new parts from the Vidiyo and Harry Potter ranges. A couple of parts that were previously only printed (e.g. Nougat Hips) are now available plain.

Thanks! :)

Earlier in the year I bought set #80107 Spring Lantern Festival, and I decided it needed a similarly themed modular to sit next to it, so over the past few months I've been building a Chinese Restaurant. It has three floors plus an attic, with a small kitchen on the lower floor, and outdoor eating areas on two floors. On the top floor it has a fish tank with reeds and fish, and in the attic it has all sorts of forgotten bits and pieces. Yesterday I finally made myself a light box, so I thought I'd take some proper photos of it. More photos are on my Flickr album.

New LEGO Speed Champions 2021 Rumors, Speculation
Paperballpark replied to Bartlomiej's topic in LEGO Town
For what it's worth, I'll be getting all of them :) I might get the Dodge and Supra on discount, but I really like the rest of them.- 755 replies

Yes there's Lavender legs, but Ninjago this year already introduced them :) There is a left arm in Trans-Bright Green though...
-
New colours in the new 2021 Vidiyo sets - Trans-Dark Pink and Trans-Light Blue Legs, as well as both arms in Coral (left arm is new).

This is exactly what I think. I think everything except his hands will be Glow in the Dark.

Winter Village Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Paperballpark replied to Gearslover01's topic in LEGO Town
I think they could just do different cottages each year and most people would be happy. I certainly would be! -
Only need the hips for Spring Yellowish Green too. I think the chances of getting a Dark Turquoise head are quite low, unless some Ninjago villain comes along with one, or a plain one is used as something other than a head.
-
Yes I think I might have to try to get some of those!

It looks like we'll finally be getting Light Flesh/Light Nougat Hips in an official set - the new Porky Pig minifig in the Loony Toons CMF series has it.

I display mine from white, going through greys, black, browns to tans, then yellows through oranges and reds to magenta, pinks, purples, to blues then ending with greens. Sand Blue is a bit of an oddity in there, but I can cope with that. I am quite curious as to why you don't want to include complete figs of retired colours though.

Hmm, a bit of an oddity then...

Right, these are my gut thoughts, based on a number of things, and influenced by steyin's very thorough comparison. Firstly, my gut instinct has always been that the nine 'common' ABS trans figures are genuine, produced in a Lego factory (very likely the Mexico one) by employee(s). It seems that TLG are aware of this and at the moment (seemingly) tolerate it. As for the 'mystery colour' - the Trans-Light Purple, based on the above, has hip markings which are straight, like PC (and probably like older minifigs - it would be interesting to know when they changed), and the leg numbers are exactly the same as the PC leg numbers. I therefore suspect that the hips and legs are PC, and if so, are possibly quite old - maybe dating from the early 90s when Trans-Light Purple was a colour TLG produced. It is, however, possible that it simply came from a different factory, which uses slightly different molds and which produced the 'original' PC minifigs. Sadly there's no comparison of the Trans-Light Purple torso. If you can post top-down photos of the torso that would be much appreciated! Time will tell if any more of that colour turn up...

I'd like to know which colour it was intended to be, before I arbitrarily assign it on my spreadsheet as a colour which was retired over 15 years ago!

I've had it confirmed that they are indeed Flat Silver.
