  1. Many thanks for that! Just to check on the Trans Pink, do you mean Bricklink colour Trans Dark Pink (Lego colour Transparent Medium Reddish Violet)? I'm very surprised about the 'Glow in the Dark Trans' figure, as my understanding was that colour was retired and had been replaced with 'Glow in the Dark White'. I've also seen Trans Neon Green available, but not Trans Green or Bright Green. I suspect that some sellers are getting confused with some of the colours - especially around all the different blues. Oh and what colour do you mean by 'Trans Light Orange'? I wasn't aware of such a colour.
  2. Yes they are possible, as said above. Where did you manage to confirm all the Trans colours from? I'd like to update my spreadsheet. Thanks!
  3. Ooooooooh! I'd really love some of those!
  4. Oooh how do I get one of those?
  5. I'm calling it - Winter Village Ski Shop. Look at the leaked Advent Calendar images - they're clearly from a catalogue. Look at the City one, and look at the (cut off) image above it, which looks distinctly like a Winter Village set (which would make sense to place it there in the catalogue). Winter Village Ski Shop, with ski and snowboard gear in the windows, and an A-frame and a snowman outside.
  6. Oh that's a different model to the one I was meaning.
  7. Looking at the 'different angle', it's a different model - someone's moc as opposed to the Lego model.
  8. Yes I found it easier to remove the print with it than with either an eraser or brasso, and it didn't seem to leave any kind of scratching or dullness. I'm not sure what price it is in the US, but considering the prices that some of the elements cost, it's probably not all that much!
  9. There's a product in the UK that I bought called Quixx, which I'd thoroughly recommend.
  10. My spreadsheet is still available via the above link. As far as I'm aware it's completely up to date. Let me know if there's some parts out there which aren't noted on my spreadsheet!
  11. I have all the modulars except Cafe Corner and Market Street, neither of which hold any real interest to me (I BL'd Green Grocer). For me there are two 'eras' of modulars - the first era was up to Palace Cinema, and the second era started with Parisian Restaurant. This Bookshop actually feels like a bit of a 'reset', like the starting of a third era of modulars. I always felt the first era lost its way a bit with the last couple - Town Hall and Palace Cinema - and I'm sure a lot of people feel the same about the last two modulars (Downtown Diner and Corner Garage), that they weren't quite up to the usual high standard, so for me this feels a bit like a reset, like when Parisian Restaurant was unveiled after Palace Cinema, if that makes sense?
  12. I'd definitely buy something with a triangular baseplate...
  13. Yes apparently today is the day! They've been extremely good at preventing photo leaks this year.
  14. Of course TLG doesn't want the LEGO name used to describe LEGO-compatible bricks, however they're made. Because that is a slippery slope - if people get used to describing all bricks as LEGO, then LEGO becomes a name for interconnecting bricks, rather than a name for one brand of interconnecting bricks. If you doubt this, consider that in the UK (not sure about elsewhere) a vacuum cleaner is known as a hoover. I hoover the house, and when I go to buy a new one, I go to buy a hoover - even if I buy a completely different brand. The problem with this for the Hoover brand is obvious - how do they distinguish Hoover the brand from generic hoovers (i.e. all brands)? The answer is that they can't really. Once people refer to all brands as your brand name, you're knackered. That's why TLG is so precious about protecting the brand. They always have been - all large brands are the same. If a company describes one of their products as 'the Rolls Royce of [whatever]', they'll get a nice little cease and desist letter from RR's lawyers.
  15. I suspect that Lego have done this to solve the problem of not being able to connect a long plate under the wheel set. There's a few times in the past (when I was building trains) that I wished I could attach a plate underneath, and it's possible they decided that doing so would make a stronger connection. Otherwise, why not just make a single wheelset with plastic axle attached?
  16. I think I see a right arm in Vibrant Coral in the new CMF series. Not sure about any other new recolours yet though.
  17. I'll try to remember to do it on a computer tomorrow. Doing it on my phone would just be too painful, scrolling up and down all the time...
  18. There's a full list of colours and what is available in each in the spreadsheet I made available, which is linked in an earlier post. In terms of the photo, I'm not going to name the top row as I think the transparent ones can be worked out. Middle row, left to right: Medium Lavender, Violet, Coral, Chrome Silver, Sky Blue, Light Purple, Blue-Violet, Dark Flesh, Glow in Dark Trans, Glow in Dark White. Bottom row: Pearl Light Gold, Pearl Dark Grey, Flat Silver, Dark Turquoise, Sand Purple, Yellowish Green, Sand Red, Medium Orange, Pink, Bright Light Yellow, Purple.
  19. I've also found something here in the UK which is amazing for wiping parts. It's called Quixx, plastic polish for acrylic glass. It's in an orange tube. I've wiped four torsos and four legs with it in the last hour. It wipes torsos very easily, and leaves no marks or extra polish at all.
  20. I forgot to post this in here when I completed it a few weeks ago: I'm also pretty close to my goal of owning every minifig part possible in every colour possible. I have a few orders still to arrive, but pretty soon I'll only be missing prototype parts and really expensive parts like Chrome Black... Here's a photo of all the rest of the figs I own:
  21. Yeah Merlion. I got a few parts from there. I already had the chrome gold keyring, but I bought the chrome red one from a european seller for about £7 or so. Not too bad considering the price of some parts!
  22. ^not a clue. I got mine from a seller in Singapore. As per above, seems completely genuine when compared with other colours. My collection is complete now, I just need to wipe three parts. 40 colours, plus the Chrome Gold and Chrome Red keyring figs.
  23. I've spent a little bit of time modifying my spreadsheet so that it's suitable for anyone to use as a reference to what (I believe) is available. As an aside, there are two colours on there (both transparent) which don't currently have any parts available at all. However, given they are current colours, I thought I'd include them anyway. I haven't differentiated between parts which are available with and without printing, as that's quite difficult - there will always be parts which aren't officially available without printing, but which show up anyway. If anyone spots a mistake, or believes there's a part available that I haven't noted, please let me know. The link to download it is here.
  24. Minifig head is new in Trans-Purple in the new Ninjago dragon set 70666!
