  1. I really don't understand this lynchwagon against me. Most of the vote accusations have been pretty much that I just tried to shift the blame on the vote for Kingsley yesterday. But I took credit for that. I'll say it again, I did support the lynch, but I didn't champion as hard for it. Which posts? Where? How are they iffy and forced? This is the general explanation when you don't understand what the lynch is but you want to support it anyway. Can you provide some examples so I can explain them to you? According to Derek, she is a confirmed townie, so yes, most townies can see into the reason that this is a nonsensical lynch.
  2. I'm hardly shifting the blame or anything, I just pointed out that it was odd that Timothy was campaigning so very hard for the lynch of Kingsley. I do take responsibility for the lynch of Kingsley, I was the person that sealed the deal and I recognize that. I just saw this: And thought that it was a bit odd that while I did seal the lynch, I wasn't the one that was campaigning so hard for his lynch. So I pointing out something that stuck out to me.
  3. Sorry, I didn't see that. Also, to the comments saying that I was the one that ended up hammering the vote, while that is true, I must say that it was to avoid the non-lynch. I know it's a bit hypocritical for me to say, but I just pointed out that I thought it was odd how Timothy was pushing very hard for the lynch of the starfish.
  4. I find it very odd that Helen continues to say "Hey, let's claim who we are" but hasn't actually done that yet. Oh, here's something else I noticed: You seemed really really insistent on voting off Kingsley. This is just on the last page of Day 1, I'm not sure if there are more posts like this, but why are you so pushy that we vote him off? One last thing I've noticed: That's some really bad metagaming right there.
  5. Caitie was killed by the Council. The piece of mail that she picked up before she died said "The Council sends their regards." Logically I'd assume she was killed by the Council. It's also unlikely Caitie was the vigilante, even with the absent vig kill. The vig probably stayed home on the first night. Or was blocked.
  6. I'll do it, but only to have a lynch. I'm not one hundred percent certain on this. Vote: Kingsley of the Starfish / KingOfTheZempk Why are people claiming their roles so quickly, especially on day one. Also, scarecrow doesn't seem like a "blocky" type of person. While it does scare away crows, it's not necessarily a blocker. Is it? I don't know. It is more monstery then Fortune Teller.
  7. Unvote: Derek Polanes / Darth Potato I don't genuinely want to believe his role claim, specifically because a Fortune Teller isn't really a "monster-like" role, however I also don't want to take the chance of lynching the investigator. We don't have too much on Derek, I suppose. I'm still waiting for that second faith-healer to reveal himself.
  8. I don't wear any fabrics. How come you haven't revealed your figure yet, then? Like Sally said, night actions could be determined from the figures in the previous game.
  9. I don't think I'd really believe it either at this point, which is why I didn't unvote him. Besides, Derek played in the original game, so you'd think he would have known already that not all the Monsters are actual "monsters". I was just saying that so in the future, whenever someone says their figure isn't a "monster" in the horns and fangs sense, we don't immediately assume they're council members. I have a feeling that eventually we're all going to have to reveal our figures. I don't think we should do it immediately on Day One, but probably during later days.
  10. Sorry, I hit reply too soon. Ignore my previous post, I'll just copy everything together so it's in one coherent post. I personally don't think we should share our alter-egos at the moment. What others have said about catching people who might make a mistake and claim the same monster as someone else is important, however this leads to several possibilities: 1) Person A is a Council Member and Person B is a Monster. Person B's monster is, for the sake of argument, a zombie, and Person A's figure is the Policeman. (Note, I like using the policeman as the go-to council figure because that's the most towniest of town figure I can think of right now) Person A claims that he's actually the Zombie. Person B knows this is a lie, because he's the zombie! So Person B comes out and claims that he's the zombie. In this situation the following can happen: (yes a breakdown in a breakdown) Anyway, the following could happen: - Person A is believed and Person B, the Monster, is lynched. The next day, Person A is lynched for lying. - Person B is believed and Person A, the Council Member, is lynched. We scored a victory. Either way, it comes down to a game of "Who's Scummier?" 2) We all reveal our roles, but the scum, knowing that they wouldn't want to mess up, decide to wait until all the other monster roles have been said so they don't pick the same monster role as a real monster. Someone earlier said that there were 20 non-human CMF's. There's 19 of us. For the sake of argument, let's say there are five scum. That means there's 6 potential non-human roles just waiting to be used by the council members. Which brings up another possibility: 3) The Council Members have been given monster figures as well in addition to their council figures. I think this is a bit far-fetched and also I don't see this as viable since Derek flat out said he had a non-monster figure, however it is an option to hold on to. I don't want to be the guy that tries to help out the guy on the bandwagon, especially since I just voted for him, but now thinking about it, I'm starting to have some doubts about Derek's potential councilness. I'm going to go all metagame here and talk about clothing and whatnot, but what if we're not just talking about plain monsters. What if we're also talking about general "bad guys". For instance, what if one of us is the pirate for example. People generally view pirates as "bad guys", but they're not monsters in the sense that they have fangs or horns. I'm looking back at the the first game, and I can see that the monsters were as follows: - Cyclops - Medusa - Evil Knight - Gangster Am I missing any? If you can see, two of the four figures were not "monsters", they were simply "evil figures". Could Derek simply be a "non-monster" figure in the sense that he's not a figure that's generally classified as a monster. Here are all the potentially "bad" figures. For some reason I remember someone compiling a list of all the monsters, but I don't remember when or if that actually happened. The ones that I'm unsure about I'll put in italics and add a note next to it. 1) Zombie 2) Spartan Warrior (It's a bit gray here. He does have a mean face, though.) 3) Witch -- Claimed by Mencot? 4) Vampire 5) Space Villain 6) Mummy 7) Space Alien 8) Viking (Once again, it's gray here) 9) The Monster 10) Werewolf 11) Crazy Scientist (I'm mostly sure about this one, but I don't want to take any chances. The guy has crazy in his name) 12) Evil Dwarf 13) Gangster 14) Classic Alien 15) Bandit 16) Minotaur 17) Evil Knight 18) Evil Robot 19) Conquistador (Depending on your view in history, this guy is evil. Plus, Jeffery is classified as a "Corrupt Conquistador") 20) Vampire Bat 21) Pirate Captain 22) Alien Villainess 23) Cyclops 24) Alien Avenger 25) Mr. Good and Evil (He looks evil enough, but apparently has good in him too, so he's undecided) 26) Medusa 27) Barbarian 28) Evil Mech 29) Yeti (Widely regarded as a monster, but he's holding an ice pop. Maybe a good Yeti?) That leaves 23 confirmed "evil characters", and I'm only doing Series 1 - 11, not the movie stuff. By the way, I'm going through and determining who is "evil" by comparing them to the Council Members from the last game, which included characters like the "Heroic Knight" and the "Cheerleader". Like I said, I don't really want to break down the bandwagon here, I'm just pointing out something I noticed and it's making me less and less convinced about lynching Derek. Since there are no rules against this, Derek please tell us what your figure is.
  11. I personally don't think we should share our alter-egos at the moment. 12. Vote: Derek Polanes / Darth Potato Can you say a massive misstep in communications? Silly human.
  13. Careful Sally, your dick is showing. Correct me if I'm wrong, but we're all supposed to be "monsters" meaning that when Mikatta declared she was the "Witch", I don't suppose she thought she was doing anything wrong. If she had said that she was, the "policeman", then that would have caused some concern. I was under the impression that we weren't supposed to share our identities.
  14. Hm, I think I'll be taking you back to Mars with me once this is all over.
  15. Greetings! I'm Bleeb, Alien Overlord from the planet Mars. Gaze into my red eyes and be lost forever! By the way, can I interest anyone in a tour of my facilities on Mars once we're done here?
  16. I'll play two characters if you need me too.
  17. Depending on the cruise they'll have pay per minute wifi.
  18. Sorry, but it will be a full fledged mafia game. However, since it takes place in May, hopefully you'll have passed a mafia school by then.
  19. Not to be confused with Deep Space Five, which will be the sequel to this one.
  20. I missed the first one, but I'm looking to play again. 1.) What is your favorite monster minifigure? The Cyclops. 2.) What period of time in history do you find yourself most excited to learn about? This one is tough for me. I'm a history major and since I'm from the U.S. and I'd like a teaching job my focus will likely be American history, but really what I find the most facsinating is late Greece to early Rome. Can I pick a few time periods? 3.) What experience do you have with mafia games? Too much. 4.) Favorite moment in your own gameplay? When I was lynched in Witch Hunt Mafia for suggesting that we should all have fish tacos for lunch. 5.) Will you be committed to playing this game and being not only active, but keeping track of time with night actions? I've got no life, so sure! Oh no, don't bring that up! I promise I'll never make a role like that again.
  21. You know, this was the game I was going to really really participate in too...until I learned I was scum. I didn't want to change my gaming style so suddenly, since people might have questioned anything that wasn't "typical Bob". I guess it worked out alright.
  22. The scum had the ability to "shapeshift" (that was the rolename) into a different character. Last night, Hinckley shapeshifted into Snotra. As for the double-kill, Hinckley shapeshifted into me and we were able to use two kills. I really thought that I was in hot water when I posted that there was a possibility of a "morph" on Day Six, but nobody else picked up on it.
  23. Thanks for having me! It was a blast! On another note, this is the first game I've ever survived the entire way through.
  24. Is anyone else going to post?
