  1. No. It's never this easy. Don't be fooled by the wool that's going over your eyes.
  2. Did Da Shen not just say that Paco was found as Not Malone? Well, I guess by me validating that it proves that I don't think def is scum. So, basically I just outed myself as scum. Okay, you've caught me fair and square. I'm scum. Can I get a cool photoshopped picture too? I'm being sarcastic, by the way. I can trust def's investigator that Paco is labeled as Not Malone. I'm not scum.
  3. It's no strategy, I genuinely think you're scum. I'm also not the godfather because I'm not scum. Why are you so dead set on me being scum? It's so wrong it's actually funny.
  4. Yes, block me tonight so that the scum take this opportunity to not kill anyone tonight and make me look guilty so you waste a day on me tomorrow. Please, investigator, investigate me and prove this charade as false.
  5. Because I am a Malone, that's why. I'm sure Paco is scum, but I have an idea that you and Da Shen are both scum. You're both scummy scum.
  6. I don't have anything great to say, because the claims against me are ludicrous and brought fourth by someone who orchestrated a townie death himself. I'm a bit busy with other presidential duties at the moment, but I'll be back with a full defense soon.
  7. You've only posted once today too, and just then.
  8. Interesting that she turned out as town after all. I'll be talking to the judge about this soon, but I don't know if the judge wants me to reveal him/herself yet. I'm still suspicious of Katalina and Bebe, though.
  9. I'm very tempted to use Google Translate.
  10. As you can see I've switched back to Katalina after all. I don't see any way to get a Mei lynch this way unless everyone comes on in the next hour. I think it's important to have a Day One lynch.
  11. Oh gosh, are we switching back to Katalina now? I just voted for Mei.
  12. Are we all changing our votes now again? I'm not sure about either of them. Katalina I'm iffy towards because she has hardly said anything and came in only to vote. Katalina is also apparently being replaced by someone else. Mei has said only fluff and nothing relevant. I'm willing to vote for Mei, but Katalina will stay at the top of my list as well.
  13. I switched my vote to Katalina. Her absence is strange, but even stranger is the fact that she had time to vote. Why would she have time to vote and not talk in thread? I think that this vote tally is quite illuminating and I believe I'll be reviewing the people who have voted randomly (like Miguel) as well as the people who voted for Da-Shan. I'm still suspicious about Mei Zhen, and I'm willing to pass Alan's comments off as jittery roleplaying I suppose.
  14. So, you've voting off someone based on how they're annoying you? Why don't you try basing your decision on something more than that? Just because Bebe is obnoxious (and she revenge-votes, says fluff, and doesn't read properly), doesn't mean she's automatically more suspicious than Alan, who has publicly said that we shouldn't work together because that's something the scum do, and is offering a lackluster defense with the same revenge-voting mentality as Bebe. I also find it humorous that when asked if you said anything else today, you referred to a fluff opening day post. You're rising up there in my book of suspicious scum.
  15. It's between Bebe and Alan as of right now, and I'm really leaning towards Alan, mostly because of this post: When I asked him about it in private, he said to me that he was only roleplaying and that it doesn't make sense for the town to work together because we're all Mafioso's. I've decided that this wasn't just harmless roleplay and that there could be something more sinister at work here. I'll be voting for Alan.
  16. Scratch my idea, it's not allowed. Unless we're missing something huge and we're all idiots all of a sudden, I can't really see a way to make the secret voting work for us. I'm also contemplating voting off Bebe. There's too much fluff in her statements. Even when confronted by Da Shen, she still uses the strange future-lingo, and she doesn't even try to defend herself. She may have even misspoke, but that could have been an accident. Typically by the 24 hour mark in the day it's time to move on from roleplaying, but she hasn't yet really. Try to convince me otherwise, but unless you can come up with a good defense I think I know where my vote is going.
  17. I'm not sure I really see a way around this whole private voting thing. Since there's apparently nothing wrong with talking about who we're going to vote for, we can always make our own tally based on how people say they're going to vote. For example, say everyone says they're voting for person A. Someone can make up a tally like this: Person A: 13 (all players) Person B: 1 (presumably person A) And then if Person A isn't lynched we know that some people are lying. It's not an exact science, especially since there aren't public vote tallies. Although, will we get a tally at the end of the day? Knowing how many players deviated from the lynch is more helpful then knowing that players did deviate.
  18. Why are you saying random letters and using the pound sign? What are these strange abbreviations and words you're using? You do know that it's 1985, right? Are you some sort of a weird time traveler?
  19. What a disaster! Somebody get his body out of the pool, it's just not right!
  20. Benito Fernandez here, and ready to party! Someone break out the disco ball.
  21. Eventually all of the games that you've played in will merge and mix together. You'll remember your first few and you'll remember funny/amazing moments, but other than that your games will just become a blur.
  22. The scum didn't have a writeboard. They used the PM thread that I set up for them.
  23. Looks interesting. 1. What is your mafia experience here on EB? How about other sites? I've played in one or two games. 2. What do you think of your performance in EB Mafia so far? What are your strengths and weakness? What do you want to improve? There's always room for improvement. I suppose my greatest weakness is that people can't determine if I'm scum or not. Or is that a strength? I keep getting lynched for it, so probably the former. 3. What do you think of private voting? Will you abide by the rules and regulations I set out for it? I've done it before, I believe. At any rate, yes, I will. 4. Have you read Mafia: After Dark? (This does not affect your chances of getting in - I'm just curious). The Great Byron shall rise again! By the way, I was excited for that House of Cards Mafia. I guess you fooled me.
  24. Grades: Your grades are determined on a number of factors, but mostly based on if I feel you're ready to move on. Please don't take these grades personally. A Pass means that you understand the game and that I think you'll be ready for a veteran/advanced game. However, I might add a little comment afterwards advising you that it'd be smart to play another School. A pass is your ticket into advanced games and means you can sign up for one. A Fail means that I don't think you quite understand the game yet, but it might also mean that you didn't have enough time to prove yourself yet. It also means that you must play in and pass another Mafia School before moving on. Without any further delay: Issac Osborne - Played By: TheLazyChicken You were unfortunately killed off on Night One by the Vigilante, but you made enough relevant contributions during the time you had and also on the writeboard to show me that you have a solid understanding on the game. It's always tough to grade people that die during the first day cycle, but I'll give you a Pass with the recommendation that you play another Mafia School before moving on to the big leagues. Emily Goodwin - Played By: Dragonfire You were another Night One kill, but your contributions during the day and after your death were very good and sound. You also recognized and stopped a bandwagon and produced lists of suspects. I give you a Pass as well with the same recommendation that you play another School game before moving on to veteran and advanced games. Warren Thompson - Played By: lego3364 You seemed very eager to learn. You were always asking questions and trying to learn, but you never really seemed to grasp the concept of the game. It seemed like you also skipped reading the lessons as well sometimes. You also didn't quite get the idea that sometimes you'll have to sacrifice a member of your own team. You defended Lego Spy even as nobody else did, which mostly outed Comrade Commander. Your final mistake was not voting on Day Three, which not only gave you a penalty but also sealed the deal for your eventual lynching. I'm going to have to unfortunately Fail you, but I highly recommend that you play another Mafia School when the next one comes around. Adam Powers - Played By: jluckhaupt You're very lucky that Dragonfire saved your butt on Day One! You almost seemed like you were giving up defending yourself on Day One, but then you stepped back in and survived until the end. You seem to get the general idea of the game, so I'm going to Pass you. Greg Kennedy - Played By: Lego Spy You played rather well as a scum! You were pretty lucky with your decision to kill Dragonfire on Night One. You tried very well defending yourself on Day Two, but alas you were lynched. I'm going to Pass you with the recommendation that you play another Mafia School. Willie Spencer - Played By: Tohst I joked to myself that you were the fourth member of the scum team. You were unfortunately really bad with your kill decisions, but during the day you were pretty good. You also communicated with at least one other player, so you understand the theory of communicating outside of thread. It's just a shame that you were such a bad judge of character! I banged my head onto my desk when I got your Night Action PM for Night Three. I'm going to Pass you, though, with a warning to all future hosts never to make you the vigilante again. Melinda Fox - Played By: Xenophobic Monoxide You were unfortunately the first day lynch! It had to be someone, and it's just a shame that it was you. You seemed to understand role-playing very well, but from the looks of it I'm not sure if you get Mafia itself yet. You didn't really defend yourself that well, but then again you probably didn't have that much time. I'm going to have to Fail you unfortunately, but I highly recommend you play another game. Emma Lane - Played By: vampyre78 You did pretty well for your first game. There's not much to report on, but you were always on time, presented your opinions, and seem to grasp the idea of the game. As a result, I'm going to Pass you, but also recommend you maybe play in another school before moving on. Fred Rhodes - Played By: Adventurer1 You had the misfortune of being role-copped on Night One. When you were alive, though, you were doing well. You branched out to the player that you cleared through investigation, which is always a plus. It's always smart to start a town block. You were also very active during the deadboard. You also asked many questions, which is a major plus. I'm giving you a Pass. Jeff Yates - Played By: Getdamonkey If I could pass you with honors I would. Arguably one of the stars of the game, you fully understand Mafia. Everyone thought you were the vigilante, which was good because it took the heat off of the read vigilante. It's just a shame that you were killed off by the scum. Not only did you reach out to at least one other player that I know about, but you were very active during the day threads and you were pretty good on the writeboard. I think you're really ready to move on to the big games. You Pass. Security School: Timothy Daniels - Played By: Calanon You survived pretty far throughout the game. It's just a shame that you were killed by the vigilante, but you still did a pretty good job. You were pretty active, but I don't know what you did outside the day thread. I think you fully understand the game pretty well, so I'm going to give you a Pass. Jordan Foster - Played By: Comrade Commander The other player that I would graduate with honors! You did a really good job on the scum team, and it looked as though you were the leader of it. You came up with all the ideas for the scum team as well. During the day threads, you managed to cast suspicion off yourself pretty well to the point where people in the deadboard thought you were town. I'm going to Pass you, of course. Thank you all for playing in Excalibur: The New Generation Mafia School! It was a real blast playing with all of you, and I hope to play alongside you all one day in a real Mafia game. If you'd like any further feedback then just ask!
  25. I don't know if she'd be banned from the forums, but it wouldn't be pretty.
