Unrest in the Forest, Day 1: Rush
Bob replied to Walter Kovacs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
These puns annoy me to no end. Catarina is making quite a lot of fluff posts, but it is Day One before voting has even opened. All the same, I would like to hear from her. I'd also like for her to at least participate with more than just nonsense. She regularly pings me as a Maple though, so I might be a bit biased. -

I'm still a bit pissed about all of these puns. I'm just waiting for the pun police to get here and arrest all of you. How do you arrest a tree? I don't even know. Do we all turn into treestumps when we're cut down? Will this be a never ending mafia game?! -

Party Lines Mafia - Conclusion: Discharge Petition
Bob replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I'm sorry for snapping at you earlier. I just got a bit annoyed that most of your posts were related to me seriously screwing the game for the town. You'd been calling me scum for most of the game, though. I suppose I got all caught up and saw theories and stuff that wasn't actually there. I reread every day thread and recalled various moments during the game, and since by that point I was sure you were scum, I kept coming up with theories that must have been asinine to the town block. Let's just agree to disagree and say that we both messed up and that the scum played an amazing game. -

It's not even worth commenting here anymore since you're so dead set in your ways of thinking, so this will be my last. You're supposed to be passionate in these games. If I wasn't passionate, would you have even paid them any mind? I doubt it. You probably would have been even more sure that I was scum and completely ignored anything I said. The vigilante shouldn't be waiting in the wings, especially not in the late game like that. Every game we're in you never trust me. You could have asked the investigator to look into me long ago like I suggested, or put my name in for the vigilante. It's getting quite annoying coming into a game and being accused by you every single time because you never want to work with me. Then when I'm railroaded out of the game and I show up as scum you say "Hah, Bob sucks! I win again!" or when I come up as town you say "Wow, Bob is really bad at this game. He's so useless!" Just because I don't try to lead the town block every game and be boisterous doesn't mean I'm bad at the game. People go to you naturally because you establish yourself as being a town leader on Day One. Before Day Six started I identified the entire scum team (TPRU and Adventurer1) as being scum. I'd been calling Adventurer1 out since Day One. My scumdar operated fine until Day Six. But fine. Since you'll comment here about how I'm so horribly wrong at everything I just said and that I'm bad at these games, I'll give it to you just so you don't keep bringing it up. -

The multiple "Thanks Bob!"'s really don't help your case that you don't blame me. I believe I congratulated the scum team in my first post. I'm not shifting the blame onto you that we lost. You and I are both partially at fault, but neither one of us caused the loss. -
Party Lines Mafia - Conclusion: Discharge Petition
Bob replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
You need to stop blaming me for this loss, def. You and I were at odds this entire game. I offered to be investigated, Vig-killed, etc. I opened communication with you, I attempted to talk with you. When I shared in private that I thought the scum team was Adventurer1, Adam, and TPRU on Day 6, you ignored me. Perhaps if you didn't act so arrogant and overconfident, I wouldn't have pushed against you. It's been like this in every game we've played together for the last few. You really need to learn that the town block can be infiltrated and to allow non-power roles into the town block. This very same thing happened to Hinckley in the very first game there was an officially centralized "town block." My theories weren't as outlandish as one might seem, either. It's why everyone else in this thread is saying I have a point even though you keep blaming me. I have played probably most of the Mafia games on Eurobricks, and I have seen some crazy shit in some of these games. Games with no scum, games with all scum, games with multiple teams, ridiculous roles, over powered roles, etc. We both got played. It's why the conclusion featured you having an over reliance on TPRU and being so confused and trusting. The game is over now, you can stop acting arrogant and high and mighty. It's an abbrasive playing style in a game that's all about having fun. That's why it's called a game. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. In this case, you lost. Screaming up and down that I caused the downfall of the town is, quite frankly, unfair. You trusting every town role and not opening up your mind to the possibility of other options didn't help either. As soon as Tammo posts the night action results and opens up the deadboard (unless he has already, I'm just a noob who can't read the thread), go back and read all of my posts from Day Six and see if my theories are really that outlandish. -

Bob replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Amazing performance by TPRU, I have to say first and foremost. The hat I'm not even wearing goes off to you, sir. I was screaming that we were all being played by def, but it turns out we were all being played by you. Spectacular work by the entire scum team actually. Secondly, def! Why can't you trust me more?! I know more often than not we end up on opposite teams, but there's times we do end up together. I'm sorry for going so hard against you, but I blame you partially as well for trusting TPRU so much and not questioning the lack of any vig kills since Night One. That being said, I was right on the money with adventurer1 the whole game pretty much, then she reached out to me offering to side with me, so I blindingly accepted her help because I needed all the votes I could get. I wasn't sure you were scum right away, that's why I didn't vote for you instantly. I almost changed my vote on you a few times, but all the taunts and whatnot made me sure it was you trying to be arrogant. I didn't see you as your usual townie self for some reason. Add to that I kept on seeing evidence that either wasn't there, was completely wrong, or was right, but didn't implicate you. At any rate, you were Jesus'd this game. Thirdly, I'd like to make a comment about C&D. I wish that people didn't keep posting there during Day Six. If anything, it emboldened me and made me push harder against def. I kept thinking "Oh, everyone is paying attention now, I must be doing something right!" Fourth, I have to say town was screwed the moment we lynched Piratedave, I think. Mencot would have been lynched and then I probably would have been scum killed by the "Vig", or maybe there would have been a conversion, and I would have been lynched yesterday instead. Either way, good job to Mencot for being lynched. I never considered jester, largely since he's like this most games. Lastly, amazing game Tammo. The House of Cards Mafia was certainly worth the wait! Excellent idea, performance, and execution. Did you just take a political sciences course, though? -

Party Lines Mafia - Day Six: Cloture
Bob replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I haven't lied or deceived or fibbed to anyone. Everything I've said is true and everything you've been saying is absolutely false. What will you say when there's only one kill tonight? "Oh, the scum must have targeted me, and I was protected because I lied." What will you say when I turn up town? "Oh, he was so obviously scum, he just ducked the game for all of us town now. Don't go for me, couldn't you all tell he was scum?" My only solace is that it's just you and Archie left, and that you're going to lose the game now when you're lynched tomorrow and Archie the next day. There is no vigilante or investigator or protector or blocker anymore. These roles are all gone. All that remains is maybe a watcher. And he's going to be killed tonight by the scum. I can't believe I'm being lynched based on a mathematical typo. If that's all it takes to fool you, then the town deserves to lose this game. I hope they change the titles of the town members that have followed Siegfried's orders without question to "Sheep" when the game is over. Notice how Archie hasn't even come back yet? He's not going to try and defend himself or Siegfried since he knows that Dixon can just lead the townies blind with his flute. Good luck, town. I only wish you'd be able to open your eyes. -

Ah, then yes, I have made a miscalculation. But it was not a slip up. Look at it this way, if there was an investigator and a vigilante still out there, and you're neither, why isn't it 5 v 3 right now in the votes? If you were either role you would have voted for me instantly. Both of these roles are gone. These two roles are gone. Bjorn is being a sheep and so are you. Please, please change your vote. You're not going to be killed tonight. You're going to make it through the night and say "Whoops, I was mysteriously protected! Or the scum didn't go for me!" It's such megablocks. Bjorn has completely given up listening to anything I've said. There's a chance he's scum as well, or perhaps he's a third party. I don't know for sure. He said some mysterious thing about how the Speaker wouldn't be safe tonight and I haven't heard from him since. What does this mean? I have no idea. I will repeat what I've said again. If Siegfried turns up town tomorrow, I've outed the entire scum team and the town win the game. When I turn up town tomorrow, Siegfried will still have the speaker role, he will still have the support of at least one sheep, probably Bjorn, and he will win. It's as simple as that. You're just giving him the game and I don't know why. It's just so frustrating. I can't use this one enough. -

Bob replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
The second part about it being 3 v 2 meant there would be three townies versus two scum. Come on, you're smarter than that. It was completely separate to the earlier point. That explains the period. I've given myself a concussion on how hard I've been hitting my head against the wall. I can't use enough of the to fully comprehend how I feel. It's unimaginable that some of you people still are going along with Dixon. It's so frustrating that you people are just giving him the game. I will probably be lynched today. The Speaker role probably has some weird tie breaker function. I wouldn't be surprised. Expect it to be used against you somehow tomorrow. I'm at least glad you've voted, at least he won't steal your vote. I've never gotten angry at a mafia game before, because I treat them for what they are, games, but this is just ridiculous. -
Party Lines Mafia - Day Six: Cloture
Bob replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
At least one of you has to be town, if not two. If all four of you were scum the game would be over. I can't urge you enough to reconsider your vote. Dixon has not actually brought any evidence up against me other than the fact that I'm going against him and that I've been quiet. The rest of his posts all day today have been laughing off my accusations and insulting my evidence away. Why can't you people see this? This exact strategy has happened in Ragnarock Now II. The scum team was myself, fhomess, Hinckley, def, and WhiteFang. Def himself was caught up as scum in a lie and by activity and we had to bus him to strengthen our position. Sound familiar? Then we bussed fhomess in order to put up the ruse that we had an investigator, when there in fact, was not an investigator anymore. Ring any bells? This exact strategy has happened before on a team that Siegfried was on. I normally don't metagame this hard, but it's important to know that you're being lied to. Please don't be sheep. If Dixon really is a vanilla townie, then the scum loses because we've all just outed ourselves today and somebody else can get the speaker position. If Dixon is really scum, there's no way he's going to allow a town victory now that he's been outed so hard. Tonight, the scum are probably going to kill the town watcher. I believe this person is the only town power role that we have left, but the problem is that the scum already know who he is since they've permeated the "town block" so hard. The vigilante that's "being held back" will continue to be held back and Dixon will use the excuse "but Bob was being so scummy, we had to lynch him and you all agreed with me. Let's lynch Addie today." And you will all follow him again, because you're already all being sheep. We don't know if we know everything about the Speaker role. Dixon might be lying about the exact powers of the Speaker. The speaker could act as a tie-breaker or could act as a judge to change the lynch around. The point is, it's dangerous to let him continue having the role if it's between me or him. And if he's vanilla townie as he claims, the town loses nothing from him being gone and gains the identity of the scum. We must vote off Dixon today. There are only a few hours left in this day. At the very least don't not vote so you can be silenced tomorrow and give an extra vote to the scum. I've appealed to all of you (except Archie) privately. There's not much more I can do if nobody is going to post here and everyone is just going to be a sheep in Dixon's flock. -
Party Lines Mafia - Day Six: Cloture
Bob replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Wrong. I did not try it once. My first pm to you was an apology because I seemed to have offended you on Day Three. Then I listed to you the people I thought were scum. Then I offered for you to investigate or kill me so the town wouldn't waste a day on me. Little did I know that at that point, we no longer had either role left. Never have I said to you "I don't know what to do!" or any other iteration of that. That's another lie I've caught you in. Please people, see this for what it is. He is floundering and he's bringing in an air of superiority and arrogance to try and disprove our points. To metagame slightly, since he's been doing it, I have been playing Mafia for years now, much longer than Siegfried. Am I very good at it? Perhaps not. Have I gotten better? Maybe. But I've seen a lot and that's why I know it's not farfetched. He knows it's not either, but he's taking advantage of you. Tiny is the only other one here who knows I'm not flailing or being crazy, and that's why he hasn't voted yet. He's actually considering what I've said and I urge all of you to do so as well. -
Party Lines Mafia - Day Six: Cloture
Bob replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
There is no way the scum team would come out in full force like this. According to Siegfried as well, there's only two scum left. Why are there three people voting for him? People are listening to reason, and I urge you to as well. He's getting desperate and he's bound to start making more mistakes. We need to keep putting pressure on him. He's already playing up the arrogant townie card by discounting all of my claims and not trying for a defence. Tiny, Lloyd, and Bjorn, please read more carefully and think about your votes. Have I made a mistake in this game by not being the most active? Perhaps, but I've been critical of him for this entire game, you can look back and check. But somebody needs to take over in trying to lead and marshal the town since we've been fooled by Dixon this entire game. -
Party Lines Mafia - Day Six: Cloture
Bob replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Don't tell me you've forgotten how to do count. There's currently four votes against me. Five are needed to lynch. Tiny and Addie are actually providing thought into what I've been saying. I wouldn't be surprised that if, as speaker, you have some sort of tie-breaking ability. I will try to break it down again. If there are three scum left, the game is over today. If there are two scum left, we may still have a chance. There is no vigilante. The person you will see going out tonight is the scum killer sent by Siegfried. He will claim that the scum targeted him again since he's a narcissist and he thinks it's all about him. Do not buy that we have an investigator, vigilante, watcher, protector, and speaker still on the town's side. With the diminished number of people left, it does not make sense that he isn't sending the vigilante out to start picking off people he finds scum. This is because the vigilante is gone and he's sending the scum killer out. Any "master plan" or strategy he's going on about in private is the strategy of the scum. Please appeal to reason and logic rather than "trusting your gut." As our own game host will tell you, going with your gut isn't always the best option... Whoops, I forgot how to do grammar in that first sentence. -
Party Lines Mafia - Day Six: Cloture
Bob replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
You are completely wrong. You're ignoring all of the evidence I've provided that's being sarcastically ignored by Siegfried for a reason. I will repeat again. I was not in line to be lynched today. Why would I be flailing? Why would I out Molly so much as a fellow scum? I could have ridden out the rest of the day in complete silence as I had been doing. I was brought up as a potential suspect by a few people, but the bandwagon had already been started by Siegfried against Molly. You're being played. Siegfried is taking advantage of your inexperience in this game by making it seem extremely unlikely that a scum would bus two of his own. This has been done before. It puts him in such a powerful position as this that he can manipulate you. You're being fooled. I don't know why it's so hard for you to understand this. I'm not giving up on this either. As much as Dixon would love for me to throw my hands up in the air so he can taunt me some more, I refuse to stand down. He is scum. You are making a mistake not voting for him. I have provided evidence to you about the numbers. There are eight of us. The speaker is telling us that there's four pro-town power roles, and that he's in control of one. Archie is apparently clear and not in possession of a night action according to him. That means that there are three people that Dixon wants you to believe are unconfirmed town. Why did he not order the vigilante out last night to take out Molly? He was ready and rearing to vote her off today, but not willing to send the Vig after her last night? Why? Because there is no vigilante anymore! You're just seeing scum kills that Dixon is controlling. Tonight you will see only one kill, and it will be by the scum. That is because there isn't a vigilante. The vigilante is long gone. Are you going to ignore the possibility you're being fooled, all of the inconsistencies, the numbers that suggest he's lying, all of that because suddenly I'm active? He's counting on people like you to follow him like sheep. I urge you to switch your vote. For someone who seemingly washed his hands of my arguments a few hours ago, he's been back quite a bit to comment and taunt, and has even PMed me to taunt more. He's also been watching the thread intently. Why? Because he knows he's been caught and he wants to make sure all his sheep are shepherded in line. -

I'm not going to sit idly by anymore whilst the town follows you blindly in whatever lynch you want. I'm willing to bet that if I had said nothing today, Molly would have been bandwagoned out of the game, you would have taken out a townie tonight, probably me, claimed that the scum targeted you and the vigilante must have made a mistake, and set up the lynch on another townie. Obviously you're not going to give up and accept defeat, you're going to keep on fighting. If I still believed you to be town, I would have fallen on my sword and taken one for the cause, but people need to understand that you're scum. There was no backlash against you when you set up the Pierce lynch, why should I expect backlash against you for mine? You'd have probably said "Damn, and he was so scummy too! Typical Bob, I can never read that guy right!" Then you would have produced a megablocks investigation report from your fake investigator and gotten another townie impeached. You've lost the game. A town victory is going to be assured when you're lynched today and there's nothing you can do about that. Like I said, you're floundering. The whole arrogant townie trick isn't fooling me, and I should hope it's not fooling anyone else anymore. -

Alright then, ignore all of my valid points and try to laugh it off. Siegfried, you don't need to taunt me in private, and I'm not going to reply anymore. Feel free to bring your taunts out into the open.
