  1. 1. What is your mafia experience here on EB? How about other sites? Answer: Too much mafia. 2. What do you think of your performance in EB Mafia so far? What are your strengths and weakness? What do you want to improve? Answer: I just need to keep my temper in check with Def. But he makes me so mad sometimes! 3. If you just graduated from Mafia School - have you read any other mafia games on EB? If so, what have you learned from them? Answer: N/a! 4. Will you be able to post every game day? More importantly, will you be able to truly participate in the game (as opposed to showing up to post once and clocking out)? If not, reconsider your application. Answer: Barring any unforeseen circumstances, yes. 5. Finally, the fun question. What is your favorite LEGO theme? Answer: It's varied. It used to be Star Wars, then I branched into town, finally into space. Now I suppose it's just the modular buildings.
  2. Another amazing Def game! It's always great to welcome new blood into Eurobricks Mafia. Double-posting is generally frowned upon on the rest of the board, but it's generally allowed in the Mafia and Role Play section. I've never seen a moderator crack down on a user for double posting. The forum also automatically combines your posts if they're posted within twenty minutes of each other.
  3. Congratulations! He'll throw giant stone balls at you while you kill wrong Rebel pilot.
  4. As much as I love Robert Downey Jr., I feel he does have the propensity to steal the show away from other actors, no matter how talented they are. I think he learned his lesson about attempting to become the star through from The Avengers, so I think he'll be more reserved. I'm a bit conflicted on this particular storyline, but I suppose that Marvel knows what they're doing. This was supposedly their master plan, but I'm not really sure how it's going to work out considering none of the Avengers in the MCU really have "secret identities". Perhaps they're not planning on a complete adaptation of the Civil War storyline and are instead just going to have some other issue be divisive to really throw people for a loop. I guess this is also why Marvel has been in talks with Sony about sharing Spider-Man, thinking about it.
  5. Probably not. I can't say, it would ruin all sorts of strategies if I told you that.
  6. Hey, future game hosts! Please stop making me scum.
  7. I planned on doing it Night One, that's how strong a scum read I got off of you. I'm not sure what it was, really. However I wasn't certain and the way you were putting the hammer down on Day Two made me doubt my suspicion of you. Hey, at least we were (sort of) on the same team this time.
  8. That was actually part of why I sacrificed myself. I knew it would make the scum look good, but what I didn't know was that it would make def look as good as he did.
  9. My role PM said that you would have lost if you didn't find me.
  10. Damnit, I was going to reach out to def as well about asking him to join the Soviet Writeboard, but then chickened out at the last second. I was the Soviet Defector, meaning that I had no idea who the other scum were and I had to somehow be found by them. I was actually acting rather pro-town during Day One, but once the Soviet spies lost a member on Night One, I knew that I had to sacrifice myself so they could win. The scum couldn't win if they didn't find me, so I didn't even defend myself on Day Two. I felt rather useless as a member of the scum. Not only was I not given a Night Action (usually, defectors are given the role of trying to find the scum, but you already told me you realized this), but I would have prevented a scum victory had I lived. Let this be a lesson to all newcomers. Def might have been the leader of the town block last game, but that doesn't mean he's going to be town in every game he plays.
  11. It's a bit foolish that you're all voting me off for faulty logic, but there's virtually no defense I can give to this type of terrible logic.
  12. I'll respond in stages. You've posted three times today, one of which was to respond to my vote immediately after I placed it. Is it a coincidence that you were here almost right after I placed my vote, or did someone tell you to get into the thread and post? Personally, I don't believe in coincidences, but that's just me. Also, "not so much here though", the famous "Oh, I'm communicating with people behind the scenes, I'm way to busy to actually talk in thread" line. Malcolm usually always acts this way, even as town. He has scatterbrained statements and a nonsensical attitude. I'm not sure what to make of it other than perhaps he's just a bit confused. You, however, are being unusually quiet for somebody that's normally boisterous and out there. Either you're being extremely lazy or you're trying to fly under the radar. I'm not sure which it is yet. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black - you think I'm useless, yet you're stating the same thing that people have said before you. I will give you some credit that you at least put an idea forward that we should look at Ed. Overall my vote was mostly meant to not only kick you in the megablocks and get you posting more, which I guess it sort of did because you did make a rebuttal towards me, but also to see your reaction to the vote. I'm not really impressed by your rebuttal, since it wasn't really defending yourself. You really just wondered why I was voting for you instead of someone else and then you insulted me. I'm actually surprised that you didn't vote for me. All in all, I believe my vote will be staying with you for now, unless something better comes up.
  13. Vote: Christopher Milton Poindexter / CallMePie He's being unusually quiet. And there's this: That's a line used by someone that's just attempting to avoid talking in here. Vote: Christopher Milton Poindexter / CallMePie Sorry, I'm a noob. I forgot to bold it.
  14. I believe I corrected my vote.
  15. Sorry I'm a bit late. Once again, I'm going to vote for: Vote: Monty Thornton (mostlytechnic) I've stated all the various reasons before, and they haven't changed since then. Plus for a reason I can't discern, he's targeting me. Oh, whoops, I didn't see that post by Jeremy. Unvote: Monty Thornton (mostlytechnic)
  16. I'm honestly not sure why you think I'm scum so badly. Is it because I get such a strong vibe off of you? It's actually getting kind of weird at this point that you've got such a hard-on for trying to get me torpedoed away. Did I do something to offend you other than call you out? Your logic is just as nonsensical as it was earlier in the day. Are you really so desperate that you're simply jumping to whatever conclusions pop into your head? Also, I won't waste the space on the quotes from Malcolm, but they're all really weird to me. One second he's on the offense, the next he's on the defense. I'm afraid I just don't get it. So, yeah, Malcolm and Monty are at the top of my list. I'm willing to bet that with 14 players there are 3 scum. One is already dead, leaving us with just two more. There's also the potential for some unknown third party player, but that's making things very cluttered.
  17. Let's apply the same backwards nonsense logic to you then. You voted for Jerry, who ended up being lynched. Jerry is a townie. You did this with the help of six other people who are, oh, wow, all still alive. Meanwhile, everyone besides me who voted for you is dead. I don't understand why Adrienne would vote for you other than it was a useless vote anyway so she knew there wouldn't be any harm in doing it. Unless something earth-shattering shows up, I'm going to vote for Monty again.
  18. Once again you're calling me scum for calling you out. How original. Surely you must have some more cards up your sleeve. Why don't you ask me to talk more or tell me that I'm being quiet.
  19. Fantastic work, vigilante. However, I am still disappointed that we lost two innocents. I wonder why, however, the vigilante decided not to go after the second likely subject, Monty. That seemed to me to be the likely target.
  20. You might have a higher post count today, but the difference is that yours have been mostly prodding at the same people, encouraging people to vote (as if we all don't know the consequences of not voting), confronting people, or just general random statements. The only thing you're trying to do is make yourself look overtly active. Why, I'm not sure yet. you could be attempting to catapult yourself to guarenteed town status or you could just want to make yourself look active geniuenly because you want to help the town. I'll reiterate that I believe that behavior to be scummier than Jerry's, the only person who didn't immediately buy Trevor's story.
  21. I haven't really seen anything that's particularly scummy about Jerry other than he rejected and questioned the claim that Trevor is a miller. I don't see anything scummy about not taking every statement as truth from the other people on this submarine. I'll be staying with my current vote of Monty. Not only has he been posting fluff, but he's been calling out other players and is now pushing for the vote against Jerry to save his own skin. We shall see tomorrow, I suppose.
  22. As of right now, I believe I'll keep my vote where it is. Yet again calling people out for being too quiet. This is the post that people make when they want to appear active when in reality it's just calling someone else out and stating the obvious. It's quite clear that we're far away from a majority vote.
  23. I appreciate the pun at the end there, but I don't really see you like this in other games. Perhaps it's that I haven't really noticed you in other games.
  24. An interesting claim this early in Day One, but I have no reason to doubt it yet. It could either be a ploy to appear innocent when he's investigated or he could be genuine about it. I don't know about Malcom. He's always like this in most of the other games we play on the submarine, I'm not sure I'd believe he's acting any differently now. As for fluffy posts that have no substance, I'd like to put forward another candidate: Vote: Monty Thornton (Mostlytechnic) Calling people out for not talking, no real conversation additions in his posts, and he's posting an awful lot to make himself look active.
  25. Plot Device role! Damn! Some people just get the worst roles! Poor guy, but we must remain resolute in his departure. It's imperative that we all be extra careful! Someone check the sonar! Perhaps there's a Russian sub nearby. Someone check the torpedo bay! Perhaps they're going to blow up the sub! Someone check the Lieutenant Commander's Quarters! Perhaps his room was ransacked as well. Someone check the radio room! Perhaps the spies are trying to send a secret message to reinforcements! Someone check the galley! I'm actually rather hungry.
