  1. Vote: Mr. Nowhere / Scouts If I recall correctly, Mr. Jesus is correct.
  2. Vote Count: Stevie Jefferson (Legonater): 2; (Capt. John Paul; Captain Genero) Captain Ted Harding (Capt. John Paul): 4; (Legonater; def; cralegoboy; CallMePie) Matt Liebenston (Dragonator): 1; (iamded) "I'm not sure about this." The Congressman says.
  3. "I can't say anything about that yet." Congressman Bob says. "Let's talk about what we did last night." Councilman Ackerson says. "I know I had a great night!" By the way, this is supposed to be a time when you're throwing out random accusations, just like in the Real Red Scare. Don't be afraid to place a random vote or anything, because if you don't vote for anyone, then I'll have to either go into Sudden Death Mode or throw red herrings out until you do.
  4. "I can't speak for Officer Harrison, but I was out on patrol like I was assigned." Officer Fields says. Remember folks, there's no wait, you may begin voting whenever you like!
  5. It's empty, curiously. I'll allow this action because I did kind of set it up.
  6. Two shady figures meet behind the warehouse at the docks. A dim light shines on them... "These are the new sets of orders from Command." one says. "Excellent. Now, if you excuse me, I've got things to attend too." the other says. "Hey!" Officer Fields calls out. "Run!" one of the figures says. They quickly outrun the officer, escaping him into the inky black darkness. Elsewhere, under a similar dim light, Congressman Bob meets General Alvin Stanley, and another curious person. "Look Congressman, if they don't get it right today, I'll have no choice but to enact X-K2P." the person says. "We must delay it as long as we can." Bob says. "I'm not sure I like the prospect of silencing the citizens of this sleepy town. Maybe we just make them sign confidentiality papers." General Stanley suggests. "Perhaps...however, if they even go near those tunnels again, I'll have no choice. Keep them away from those tunnels at all costs." "Very well." Bob says. The next morning, the townspeople assemble near the pond. A National Guard truck pulls up, and two soldiers exit with shotguns. The townspeople look nervous. "Relax. They're only here to make sure the convicted doesn't start a fight." Bob says. "What's that?" someone asks, pointing to the box. "I was just about to ask Officer Harrison myself." Phelps starts. "Why is your badge on a box which says "To Soviet Union"?" "Ummm...I don't know?" Harrison says. "I certainly didn't put it there, but thanks for finding my badge." "Whatever." Bob says. "Listen up. Today you'll be convicting one person from the group. There will be no investigating. All investigation actions will be ignored. Whoever has the most votes at the end of the day will be convicted, and sent to the Central Intelligence Building for serious questioning. You will not be returning." The townsfolk share nervous looks with each other. They had to convict one of their own today, a friend, a neighbor, potentially a family member. It would truly separate a few people. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Characters: Government Workers Ian Bradford (Mayor) played by Walter Kovacs Will Ackerson (Town Councilman) played by iamded Alan Cain (Judge) played by JCC1004 Ryan Phelps (Police Chief) played by JimButcher Tim Fields (Police Officer) played by CallMePie Louis Harrison (Police Officer) played by Brickme --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Working Class Dieter Schneider (Chef) played by Shadows Simon Lloyd (Doctor) played by Burman Patrick Jefferson (Lawyer) Played by Professor Flitwick James Falzone (Dock Worker) played by CorneliusMurdock Julie “Princess” Parker (Nurse) played by The Crazy One Alan Simmons (Farmer) played by Fugazi -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other Dolores Jefferson (Housewife) played by Def Gloria Jefferson (Student) played by Admiral Ron Stevie Jefferson (Student) played by Legonater Ralph Jenkins (Retired Salesman) played by Cralegoboy Matt Liebenston (HUAC Investigator) Played by Dragonator ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- New Arrivals Ted Harding (Captain of the Lakota) Played by Capt.JohnPaul Frankie Daly (Deckhand) Played by Captain Genero Deceased Valerie Jenkins (Housewife) played by Sok117 Jackie Harding (Ted's Wife)Played by Captain Becker (Borrowed partly from Dragonator’s Mystery Manor) 1. There are 18 participants. If you commit to the game you are committing to contributing to the story and sticking with it to the end. I am trusting you all not to drop out halfway through, as that is never any fun. 2. You must search for clues. This means that an action must be specified. For example, you wish to search a room for hidden objects. The following is an example of how not to go about this: "I wish to look for suspicious or hidden objects in this room". Instead, you must be able to specify what you want to do. For example: "I would like to open the drawers of the cabinet." It is not required for you to specify exactly what you are doing and what you are looking for, but a generalized statement will not find you anything. Act like a detective and you will be fine. 3. This game is meant to be fun, so enjoy yourselves! 4. Please be patient with me between chapters, I will try to put up the chapter topics as quickly as possible, but, this might not be so all the time. 5. Please try to avoid editing your posts, as it can lead to suspicion against you. Just consider what you want to say before you say it, and you'll be fine. 6. Please remember that this is the early 1950’s. No iPods, digital cameras, cell phones, printers, computers, fax machines, or otherwise. No events past the current date either, or else people will view you as insane. 7. I won’t keep you in a certain room if you don’t want me too. You’ll always have the option of backtracking or researching the same place. 8. The host is usually always right. If you think I’ve made an error, then please discuss this in the discussion thread or feel free to PM me. 9. Failure to follow these rules will result in a warning. A second failure will result in the death of your character. 10. Remember that although a chapter has ended, that doesn’t mean that the day has concluded, and night actions can be used. 10b. There are also chapter actions. Those of you with chapter actions have the ability to use them at the end of each chapter. 11. No Metagaming please. Also, don’t base suspicions on how the person looks. Rules may be added or deleted as the game goes on based on game play. 12. This is the 1950’s, the middle of the Cold War. You’re under constant worry of potential nuclear Armageddon, so act like it. The Communists are your enemies in this game, don’t forget that. Also, anytime historical facts from the 1950’s are brought in is a big plus. SPECIAL CHAPTER SEVEN RULES (please read) 1) There will be no investigations today. All of these actions will be ignored. 2) To vote, please bold the name of whoever you're voting. Same to unvote. 3) Whoever has the most votes at the end of the day (This day will last 96 hours), will be voted off. I don't care if this person has one vote or eighteen votes.
  7. Just waiting on a few more Night Actions before we can begin. You've got about a little less than twenty-four hours, so get those in to me, quickly.
  8. For all the reasons listed above, I shall: Vote: King of Delaware/ KingofZempk I haven't trusted him since the beginning, I do hope that this is a correct conviction. Thank you those who have trusted me.
  9. Quoting the rules: Isn't it possible that the role-blocker also is able to bypass the protector? Sandy is beligerent and could potentially be a bad person, but I'm not entirely sure. Also, when accused on Day One, Nurse Pendleton simply said "Go ahead and vote me out, then see if I'm a sinister" or something like that. I believe he too is loyal.
  10. Would you like to know who I suspect and who I trust? Very well I suspect: 1) Chief Bear, mostly because of his wanton and random voting of people. Look back on his voting track record. 2) King of Delaware, mostly because he sides with Chief Bear on practically everything. At the moment, I only trust: 1) Jesus, because he's able to be reasoned with, and doesn't automatically vote for someone without asking for a defense first.
  11. I didn't give him his cloak, first of all. If you saw what I said, it was that I wasn't sure. Neither was Nurse Penny. So because I'm not mucking up the thread with useless posts that do nothing, I should automatically be voted out? What about the people who haven't talked all day today? Honestly people, I don't know anything. I'm a bit of an airhead. There's no evidence against me. I haven't done anything wrong. You're voting for me because I haven't "Contributed". That's nonsense, really. But go ahead and vote me out. When the results come back in, you'll see that I'm a loyal insane staff member.
  12. Actually, Chief, I spoke several times yesterday. Perhaps you need to listen to the day again.
  13. You both realize that Nurse Pendelton is a man, correct? These deaths last night were rather surprising, I too feared that the Martian would die, but Sparks' death came out of left field. Did anyone learn anything last night that could help us today?
  14. James taps the back of the cabinet, but there's nothing behind it. Opening the closet door, he looks onto the top of the shelves, opening the shoe boxes. There's a pistol with some ammunition in one of the boxes. Patrick is registered to own it, so it's completely legal to have. Looking through clothing doesn't determine anything either. There isn't a false back behind the closet, and there aren't any boxes on the floor. "Um...I believe that Ralph and his Wife were here a few days ago..." Patrick says. The sun sets, cuing the townspeople to head back to their homes for the night. Congressman Bob and Inspector Liebenston confer before leaving. "I'll take Mrs. Jenkins and Mrs. Harding's bodies back to Washington. In the meantime, you stay here and hold down the fort until I return in the morning." Congressman Bob says. "You will be returning, won't you?" Liebenston asks. The Congressman gives him a hard stare. "Of course I will be." he says. The Congressman steps into a National Guard military truck, and quickly the truck drives out of town. Chapter Six is now concluded, as is Day Two. Night Two is now beginning. Please send all Night Actions to me in the next 48 hours! This topic (And my Chapter Five topic) may now be locked, please.
  15. Mayor Bradford looks through the medicine cabinet. There's a few bottles of cold medicine and other typical bottles. Tapping the back of the cabinet does reveal a hidden cabinet, with Patrick's prescription medication. There's nothing in the toilet's tank, or suspicious behind the toilet. The shower curtain is open, and he sees the entire tub. The tub stands on feet, looking underneath its empty. He tests all of the water lines, they all work. James looks through the cabinet, but only find clothing and other items to that nature. The painting is of a seventeenth century boat. There's nothing behind it. The window looks out towards the Department Store and Fire Department. "Ow!" Stevie says. Stevie throws the magazine in the unlit fireplace, where it sits. One window has a large tree next to it, that's Stevie and Gloria's room. Frankie then sees if the windows are locked, they are. A person can pass through it.
  16. I suppose I'll Vote: Kevin Mitchell / Shadows only because of what others have said. If he's truly innocent, I know who we should go after tomorrow.
  17. I still haven't been able to reach a decision on who to vote. Everyone is talking too much and throwing around so much blame towards Shadows and Jesus, and I don't know who to vote for...
  18. Mayor Bradford searches the upstairs bathroom. There's a shower and bathtub combination, along with two sinks and mirrors. The mirrors do open, and inside is the medicine cabinet. Underneath the sinks are pipes for the water. There's also a towel rack. James enters the bedroom. There's a closet and a cabinet nearby the window, and there's a large bed on another area. There's a painting over the bed. James looks under the bed, but there's nothing underneath. He looks under the mattress as well, but it as well is clear. Patrick looks under Stevie's bed, and finds magazines that aren't exactly appropriate for a boy his age. He then looks in his sock drawer, but there's just socks in there.
  19. The kitchen and living room are the only rooms on the first floor. The bathroom is on the second floor. Walking upstairs, there's immediately a door. This is Patrick and Dolores' room. Next to that is the bathroom, and on the other side is the room which Stevie and Gloria share. "I didn't write that note! We found it on that dead commie." Patrick says. Probably about half of the note has been burnt away, the rest is illegible. None of the notebooks found are 9 x 11.
  20. James opens the kitchen cupboards to look for anything suspicious, but he can't find anything that is out of place. It's getting late, you don't have much time left.
  21. Are you insan-, oh wait, you are insane. That's the dumbest idea I've ever heard, you're going to honestly vote off a staff member just because we didn't help Big Cam? The guy that the patients convicted themselves? He also picked up and attacked a doctor, if you couldn't remember. I understand that he had the mentality of a toddler, but what he did was still inexcusable. Also keep in mind that our boss shot Big Cam. Not us. First of all, this is 1951, there are no video cameras to catch the acts of a killer. You're right, there's only five of us, which means we can't all keep track of you. Second of all, we're the ones giving care to you. We clean up after you, give you medicine, cook for you. You assume that we're against you? We're the ones who care for you. Finally, you're going to assume that just because people don't want to take part in your crackpot theory that they're against you? What kind of rationale is that? You're not voting for the person I randomly am voting for, so you're automatically against me. Sounds to me like you're just trying to take control of the hospital for yourself.
  22. James looks under the sofa and between the cushions, but he can't find anything. Holding the "O" up to the light doesn't show any hidden print. Mayor Bradford then holds it under a light-bulb, and a few words show up. Underneath the "O" is "23:00". He then picks the lamp up, and looks under it, but there's nothing there either. The burnt piece of paper was probably a 9 X 11 sheet of paper. "Are we boring you, Ms. Parker?" Mayor Bradford asks. Julie checks the trash bins. There's nothing inside there that would incriminate anyone at the household. Farmer Simmons opens Stevie and Gloria's backpack to look at their notebooks, but they've all been used for the correct purposes. He then looks at the family notepad, which hasn't been filled today. None of the papers found compared to the clues. Mayor Bradford looks at the family notepad. He inspects it, and discovers that there's just been a few normal appointments written down, such as "Doctor's Appointment" and "Dieter's for Groceries". "I'm not sure I remember. It was most likely mail that's not important, I sometimes burn it to supplement the wood." No you don't.
  23. Frankie peers behind a family portrait, but there's nothing there. There's no legends surrounding the Jefferson House, either. Frankie also stays a few feet away from Stevie at all times. James looks under the rug, but there's nothing there. He then turns on the radio, it's tuned to the news. Will looks into the fireplace, careful not to disturb his attire. He moves the ashes around inside the fireplace, and finds a burnt piece of paper, that someone was blatantly trying to burn probably a few days ago. He then goes and washes his hands. It's near impossible to read the paper, however.
  24. Mayor Bradford enters the house. There's a den, with a sofa and two chairs facing a radio set. There's also a circular rug in the center, between the radio and the sofa. Next to the radio set is a fireplace. Moving along inside, there's a black and white tiled kitchen with a table set for four. There's a staircase leading upstairs as well. The dimensions all match perfectly. Chief Phelps inspects the fallout shelter. Since Patrick hasn't started digging yet, there's no way this could be connected to the tunnels. Tap what ceiling? The ceiling of the first floor? Your bedrooms are up there. I already have...It's not done yet, and there's a few pieces of wood and metal, as Patrick appears to be reading from a manual. "I don't get why you guys are so obsessed about the shelter. I already had one built, and the Town Hall is preparing to have one installed sometime next month." Mayor Bradford says. The piece of paper is torn a bit, but there's still an O written on it. "I haven't started digging yet. Honestly, I'm thinking of having someone come in here and do it for me." Patrick says.
  25. Mayor Bradford takes a look at the fallout shelter. It's built about two dozen feet from the house. "I've just started on the outside framework, and the planning is done." Patrick says. "Stevie has a collection of comic books, but that's about it when it comes to hobbies." Patrick says. It's getting late, perhaps you should all move indoors.
