Oh gosh that's awesome, I like everything about it, particularly the foliage, water and the wall (so in other words all of it), great job

I too would also be interested in joining, I have a digital camera and would eventually get around to posting a review, probably of a lego item that I don't think has been reviewed before.

It's nice to see that the LOTR game has turned up in the wild. A member on eurobricks has provided a picture of the game instructions: http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3733/9159962892_72f0bc1109_c.jpg (There are more pictures on the original comment) Here is the original comment: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=77720&st=25#entry1631727

Thanks very much for that, the LOTR game sounds like great fun, hopefully it gets released in the UK.

OMG, how the hec could people even do something like this, that man is a true professional and is very talented, its such a disgrace and that helicopter was really awesome, hopefully his rainforest is a success.

Thanks aswell, I definitely am going to get a fair few Gandalf polybags, but if im honest IMO the Sunday polybag is not worth the journey for me anyway.
-
Ah yes, I do remember that, I can't wait, I am looking forward to more news, hopefully we will see a sneak preview of the hobbit figures or perhaps even one of the sets.

Im not exactly sure why this wasnt posted here, but instead there has been another thread about it http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=77185&st=0 (although it would probably be better in the licensed forum)

This is an awesome MOC, I love how you've captured the ruined aspect of the building and I really like the foliage and the windows, great work

Well it depends where you keep your set, I bought a set once but it was incomplete, it reeked of smoke so I mixed it in with my big box full of pieces. Over time the smell died off and now it smells just fine, if the smell doesn't go overtime perhaps you could consider cleaning it with a few wipes, but surely the smell will go away eventually, if you don't already, perhaps get an air freshener plug in the room you are currently keeping the set, that should help the smell go away.

Wow that's really awesome, I take it was worth 8 hours wait LOL, congratulations though, im sure it would be worth a mint in a few years to come (not that it already isn't), if I was lucky to own a set like this I would definitely keep it and get it sealed. (wahoo my 500th post).

That polybag looks really good, hopefully it will appear up here in the UK, perhaps fingers crossed in another daily mail promotion assuming its a success.

Thanks GRogall, I noticed that on the LOTR page the exploding wall for helms deep is on the wrong side, maybe its just a mistake or they are showing how it can be combined in different ways.

1) Building the general grievous star fighter set and then when placing grievous into the cockpit armed with his gun the set falls apart/ explodes (too much pressure, btw this happened twice). 2) Dropping pieces onto the floor and searching ages for them until you notice your mistake. 3) Hoovering pieces up/losing them. 4) Going to the car boot (flee market) and losing out on a great buy. 5) Looking ages for a piece for a MOC and finding it weeks/months later when the MOC is finished. 6) Not buying all of the batman 1 sets (which I now love). 7) Applying stickers to sets and they go completely wrong. 8) Missing out instructions in a set. 9) Lego prices else where being cheaper than what I bought it for. 10) Dropping a set or losing a vital component to it once built. I could go on..... But I won't LOL, just my 2 cents worth.

You are very honest, for that lego should let you keep it, congratulations for doing the right thing though, although if I was in your situation I'd've been very tempted but I'd've probably done the same as you.

Next CUUSOO set: 21103 Back to the Future™ Time Machine

I wonder if this set also comes with Einstein (the dog), that'd be pretty good if it did but its still a great set, I also like the skateboard with it but I would've probably preferred a hover board. -

I liked the BTTF lego car before, but now that there are even more pictures it looks even better and I can't wait to get it, hopefully my store will have a good few in stock (I definitely want it but only 1 copy) -
I totally agree, I watched this today and I thoroughly enjoyed it, although the certain parts that did make me jump made me laugh

Welcome to eurobricks, its hard to believe that this is your first MOC, the front part of the gate is perfect, my only suggestion would be to build a wall onto the tops of those rocks to connect it to the two higher towers (perhaps merge the stones with parts of the wall) and if you wanted to I'd say make the bases of the two taller towers wider at the bottom like on the film, other than that its a great job and its got a nice size.

Thanks for that, IMO I really like it, hopefully there will be some minifigures to coincide with it, I can't wait for the 18th July, also I hope for more pictures soon
