When I saw that picture of Aquagon, I thought he should be a polybag.

Hum. Not sure how that would look. I watched the 2 Chima episodes today, as well as the last two Ninjago ones, I somehow missed them being aired and uploaded to YT. IMO, Ninjago has a cooler storyline, but maybe that's because I feel like I know the characters from 40 episodes and 3 years of sets. At first I found Laval and Cragger annoying, and it didn't say what Cragger did with Eris. It just seemed like it was symbolising Peace turning into War or something like that. Those videos up there are neat. But most of it just seems like a ramshackle mess. Lion Temple looks cool, I can see fans making them two command bases, with the army fighting in-between. I was a bit annoyed at how much showtime Crominus and Cruncket got. I would have liked a Cruncket minifigure, but as Crominus actually comes in a Speedor, it feels like he should have more showtime. At the end of the episodes, I was unsure whether there were going to be more. I'd like Crominus and Cruncket to come back, and re-take over the Croc Tribe. It might just be me, but I can't see Chima going for as long as Ninjago. The first year ended with Garmadon vanishing through a portal, which will give him enough power to take over Ninjago. As far as we know, Chima ended with Cragger saying it wasn't over. The Gorilla Mech looks fine, I might buy a few just for generic mechs. The 'gorilla face' basically doesn't exist (I can't even see it), but I like the broad shoulders. I would really like to see a larger Eagle base, the Castle is silly compared to the Temple and the Croc Boat. And I would love like a Wolf Cave or a Raven Roost, or some base for all the sets. Talking about D2C sets, I think they should make a Mount Cavora set. With light-up bricks for the eyes of the carved heads. That would be awesome, and I think it would sell well to other fans, as it would have that Avatar look that is in the landscape, while the other sets, based around tanks or fortresses, don't show. Rant over.

What would you like to see? Personally, I'd like to see some based on the episodes before the Stone Army. Like the Megaweapon ones.

I'm making a future Ninjago sets topic. Let's get back on track here.

If I understand what you mean, the Ninja Outpost could do the same thing. That was $5.

Legends of Chima 2013 (Action Figures)
Devorath replied to DarkSurgeXL's topic in LEGO Action Figures
But the Nya spinner sold really well at my closest stores. -
$45 for the Lloyd spinner. Wow. http://www.trademe.co.nz/toys-models/lego-building-toys/other/auction-558173857.htm EDIT: And welcome back to crazy Trade-Me ripoffs: http://www.trademe.co.nz/toys-models/lego-building-toys/lego/sets/auction-558980398.htm

Yes! We're getting the Croc-Tank!

The burning brains reminded me of when Minecraft Pigs are on fire. They might be one block away from water, but just run around being derpy.

Future Legends Of Chima Sets Ideas.
Devorath replied to Jackattack7's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Something with Cranvil. -
Off topic, but I think they should make a Mount Cavora D2C. That would be awesome.

Raven Mech?
-
Agreed. I went on holiday to Burleigh (GC) last week, and managed to find myself at Pacific Fair and the Robena Town centre. I was hoping to pick up Kai's Fire Mech, but ended up picking Equila's Speedor because half the shelf was Chima, and the rest Duplo!

Any thoughts? We have this comic book synopsis though: http://www.papercutz.com/shop-all/lego-ninjago-vol-8/ Seems Garmy joins the team, and they travel around Ninjago to stop the 'Doomsday Devices' Garmy placed earlier in case he failed. Start Speculating!

What was on the sticker sheet?

The picture of the Chima Action Figures was posted on Brickset. Huw, in his pitiful state of ignorance, said that the Savage Planet Paw was new. And also, in the comments; Somebody replied: Even more hate mail if you look: http://brickset.com/news/article/?ID=5606#comments

Wait. Where are the board game pictures?

Single Pane Action Theme Funnies
Devorath replied to Amset-Rah's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I've got a few ideas, but I've only got Equila, so I'm waiting until I get another Chima fig. -
I like Thunder Wings the best. Thunder Thighs, while cute, isn't the coolest Lego robot. And I am not the biggest fan of Lego racing cars, I prefer the action themey Ninjago, Chima style cars.

The first few years of Bionicle were Technic, then it became it's own theme. In 2006 TLG removed the gear functions in sets, focusing on the other things that make a set enjoyable for the age range. Hero Factory, after a disappointing Wave 1, came in with a new building system that integrated better with System Lego. The smoother mould of the parts, not to mention the better joint moulding meant they were more usable, and have all ready appeared in mech sets. However, HF's latest wave; Brain Attack is IMO the worst since the revamp. Cutting aside the other reasons, the villians have gear functions (and sloppy ones too).

Nice job! It's better than the Bat in the set with Bane's Tumbler. That one looks like that old TIE series. Nice job with the Tumbler too. I saw it in person at Movie World and yours matches it quite nicely. Can I see what the back wheels look like?

Well, with any luck one of the rumoured 'Gold Minifigures' in CMF Series 10 could ride it! :imnotsurewhattowritehere:
