Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
Devorath replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
Good point, I suppose a virtual minifigure can have the same amount of coverage as a physical one. IM3 comes out on the 24th here in NZ, so I presume the sets will be out soon. It's weird that our prices are much higher (Spidey Cycle equivalent of $42.5us!), and we get sets much later, when they proved they could launch sets at the same time as the US with the Hobbit sets. -

Good point, that would be awesome! A Black Hand would be cool as well. It's a clever idea that Lego has done before. People are comparing Mr Gold to CC figures. They are actually quite different. CC figures are free, and the recievers know they are getting the figure. Mr Gold costs, and is much harder to get, although there are more in the world. -

BZE is probably the worst MOS set. I might buy a set like Aquaman On Ice, or that City set with McCain in instead. I don't get what's so bad about Metropolis Showdown, the car is quite well designed, and the colours are ok. Much better than the small Iron Man set. How about a Injustice Lego Game? The only problem is, having all those characters in microform will just be torture. Like the Nightwing and Batgirl microfigure Now, about CC minifigures. I'm fine with figs like the Batman and the Iron Man and Cpt America. I just don't like it when characters such as Hal Jordan, Cpt Marvel, Bizzaro, and Pheonix are exclusive. These could all be made into sets, maybe even lines. I don't really get why Lego doesn't do this, surely they would make more money than producing 125, then giving them away for free, so they can circulate around Bricklink and eBay for hundreds, or sometimes thousands. -

Am I the only one who likes Superman's sets? Metropolis Showdown is a must, being one of the best $12 sets, as well as coming with two cool figures. Black Zero Escape and the largest one are not as good (Hardy's truck), but I will probably still get them. A Marvel Dictionary probably will not be coming for a while, due to lack of stuff to put in it. Batman ran for 4 years before getting a dictionary, so IP might be a CC figure. Anyone else want Injustice sets? -
Really cool! The chariot seems small though, and Arthur's feet seem squished. Do you mind if I show the people on the Aquaman Shrine? I'll give you credit!

I thought it was NZ from the first picture onwards! I've driven past Hobbiton, but never been there. Aren't we lucky to live in such a nice country. I would recommend it to everybody (bar the fact we have high Lego prices and no Lego stores )

I'm just watching the news on this. Very cruel. The decapitated people in wheelchairs being taken to hostpital was extremely sad. Lets hope justice is found. EDIT One death was an 8-year old boy. Very cruel.

A Nightwing! We need a Nightwing in 2014! It was bad enough him only being in the Batman 2 DLC Pack! -
Very Nice! I thought you meant Superman and Superboy for your other duo. Not too familiar with Pulp Fiction, but nice customs!

It wouldn't hurt to join now, it helps you get a feel of the review standard, and you don't have to post right away. Old sets are a great addition to the review collection IMO. EDIT: Wahey, you joined!

xD bought the PC version for $17 US. All other Lego games were full price, so it was luckily that the game I wanted, on the platform I wanted, was crazily cheaper. Sales Manager, please don't stop taking drugs.

Lego Marvel Superheroes Game Announced
Devorath replied to MattZitron's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I just bought Batman 2 for $17 USD. I'm loving it, and am now excited for the Marvel game. If the DLC or Poly is good, I might even pre-order. Cannot wait to play as Abomination or Hulk. -
Welcome to EB! Great review of an old set! Have you thought about joining the reviewers academy?
-
What do you mean?

Uh. I was also hoping for exclusive Cruncket or Cranvil. Leonadais is a bit of an annoing figure, he's appeared in lots of sets already. It's not that show accurate as well, I might give it a pass. The Croc Boat is a better fortress IMO.

I really like the build. The amazing colour scheme also tops it off for me. Well Done!
-
They have to go outside to go to the toilet! How cruel! But saying that, they work out side, and play a game of basketball using one net, and are allowed to bike around during class. That's so accurate.

I knew it, I really did! I just liked winding people up and being over enthusiastic. Isn't that what Canda looks like?
-
I do really like Jimmy. He is easily recognisable as Jimmy, and the outfit he is wearing is almost identical to the outfit in the DC Character Encyclopedia. I'm thinking about making some customs, I doubt they'll be as good as yours though.

Welcome to Ameribricks.com - Major Changes Coming!

Yes. Imagine if the community didn't exist. The staff would have nothing to do, and Hinck would probably become a terrorist, but my point is, us members are the reason Eurobricks was founded. After all, there wouldn't need to be a forum if we didn't exist. Although most of the staff try hard, and spent a lot of time working on the forum, we are they reason they go to such an effort. -

Remember how the banner for Eurobricks said "Uniting Lego Fans Around The Word"? That was more inclusive than Ameribricks, not just for that slogan, but the site imagery and theme as a whole. -
I don't actually have Golden Lloyd, but I would prefer a shiny gold. A dull gold would be less spectacular, and Lloyd is ment to symbolise a glowing beacon of strength, hope, unity, duty, and destiny, so I think the shiny version would make more sense.

Heh heh. Fooled me. I want new Captain 'MURRICA sets. But I'm pretty pleased with this year's turnout. I would have liked some more Ultrabuilds, but the Iron Man sets are awesome. I'm loving the extremis dudes, but the fact that their normal heads are still GID is a bit disappointing, but still expected. -
