  1. They both chassis use the same front end. Technic Honda by James Tillson, on Flickr Photos. I just don't have the time for LDD.
  2. I have started a pair of small Honda sports cars, a 1964 S600 and a 2015 S660. Both models are 1:8.8 scale but still pretty small, the S660 is only 48 studs by 21. S600 has two L motors used as trailing arms (similar to real car). I'm going to soften the front wishbone suspension as I would like it lean more in to corners. The final version will probably be black. The S660 has 2 L motors geared up 3:1 in the video but full power eventually makes the diff gears fall out. It has double wishbone all round with a floating diff. I have 2 BuWizz now so expect to see a race when they are finished.
  3. I didn't make a manual version but it would be really easy to take out the PF. There is plenty of room for an engine and maybe a 2 speed gearbox. It would make the build much cheaper too! I also found this on a corvette fan page; all 60s corvettes, all black - WOW! http://www.corvettedepot.com/show-us-your-wheels/all-black-corvette-collection-19541969-bill-m-bradenton-fl/
  4. All done. 69 C3 video added to the OP.
  5. Thanks guys. I have added the C2 video to the OP.
  6. Here are my 1960s Corvettes. 1961 C1, 1963 C2 and 1969 C3. They are all based on this simple buwizz powered chassis. It has a servo for steering and a single L-Motor for drive. Front suspension is like 42039 and the rear is similar to 8081. The C2 and C3 have a shorter wheelbase than the C1 so there are two slightly different version of the chassis. 1961 Corvette C1 1963 Corvette C2 1969 Corvette C3
  7. I remade my 500 abarth with my V2. The video shows the difference in speed (and sound) between Normal, Fast and Ludicrous modes.
  8. Noted. I can't decide what to do with the chassis. If I though anybody would build any of them I would just use Lego RC parts but Buwizz is more fun and easier to integrate (no receiver needed). With Buwizz there is room for an extra motor and the option to gear them up but not everybody has a buwizz. 9. My V2 does the servo "tremor" on port 4, I just switched the settings and put in port 1 where there are no such issues. It is a bit strange that it does this.
  10. They don't all look like that one but none of these got "spotted by the elves". Mix by James Tillson, on Flickr
  11. More progress with the C3. I've made lots (probably unnoticeable) changes and the headlights now pop-up.
  12. Picture shows '57-'60 rear and '61-'62 rear. Very different! I have checked and there are plenty of '61 corvettes with the new rear end and white scoops, so My '62 is now a '61 and the white scoops will be reinstated. '57 rear looks a lot harder to build. C1 rear by James Tillson, on Flickr
  13. Yes but '62 came with body coloured scoops, '61 had white but has a totally different rear end. maybe I should also do a 57 with single headlights and older styte rear. I had to look that up to remind me what shape it was. No, that's not on my list. I did some more work on the C3 and got closer to the right shape.
  14. My models don't even make the lego car blog never mind HoF. I thought about that. C4 is tempting but C5 to C7 would all look the same at this scale. I made some progress on the C2 and started the C3. C1 just needs a dashboard. 15. Blue one has 1xL motor geared up 20:12. The black one has 2xL geared up 24:8. I did check fast vs ludicrous and there is a noticeable difference in speed and the sound motors make. I don't own a Buwizz V1 so I can't compare it to that but even slow mode on the V2 is better than a regular lego IR set up.
  16. I got my Buwizz 2.0 just 4 days after placing the order. This thing is awesome and so easy to use. I put it in my Miura and Caterham. I also made a tracked racer with train motors but it just ripped the tracks off.
  17. I'm doing the trilogy: All in the same scale and in black with red interior. IMG_4976 by James Tillson, on Flickr IMG_4980 by James Tillson, on Flickr
  18. Wow, that is a very impressive model. I look forward to seeing a video of the functions. Have you considered any IP infringement issues?
  19. Agreed. If I had a 62 Corvette I would have the scoops painted white anyway. The hardtop is removable. I hope the red dash board give an impression of where the windscreen should be. IMG_4572 by James Tillson, on Flickr IMG_4571 by James Tillson, on Flickr There is plenty of room inside so I put 2x L motor in and geared them up a little. It dives and leans when changing direction.
  20. That (missing) curved windscreen does look odd from most angles. You have to imagine its there. Red sides 1 by James Tillson, on Flickr
  21. I was going to make my 63 corvette in black but it quickly turned in a 62. I know the scoops on the side were body colour by 1962, I just like them white... and it is still a WIP! WIP 62 Corvette 1 by James Tillson, on Flickr WIP 62 Corvette 4 by James Tillson, on Flickr
  22. I think it is a LDraw file but I don't have it. JoePsysky (https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/profile/172100-joepsysky/) may be willing to share. I wonder if he would upload it to rebrickable.
  23. No. 3x7 curved panel, #3, #4, #5 & #6 panels are not available in blue. Parts list is on the video (at 2:00).
  24. JoePsysky has made a digital copy from the youtube instructions... it looks great in red!
