  1. I finally fished the two small Corvettes. They can be made in black or white and there will soon be a C2 convertible in dark azure too. Instructions by GeyserBricks on Rebrickable. https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-36973/GeyserBricks/corvette-c1-1957-black/#comments https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-37960/GeyserBricks/corvette-c2-1963-black/#comments
  2. Rebrickable has allowed the modification https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-36648/GeyserBricks/mini-cooper-f56-2016-42056-b-model-mod/#comments
  3. It didn't get approved as it is too close to the B model. You can see the 11 parts required and they can all be easily swapped at any time.
  4. Probably but I was only intending to make a road going version of 42096. The gearbox and panels were added at the end instead of RC to keep the build cost down. Thanks but that's one of the bits I kept the same as 42096. Roof and A pillars are the same too. Its about 70% RSR, We tried really hard to make sure all the extra parts are cheap and plentiful.
  5. I have a formula that works even quicker on B models where I don't speed any time choosing parts/colours. I also have a very nice man doing all the boring stuff like making digital models and instructions. I wanted to do Cooper S with 4 cylinder but there was only room for a 3 cylinder between the front wheels so it had to be the Cooper. GeyserBricks will publish a version with 11 extra parts including the corvette (42093) roof. Those 11 parts make a huge difference. I'd be happy with just a black nose panel and the spotlights (5 parts) Lego Technic 42056 MINI Cooper by James Tillson, on Flickr
  6. 42056 B Model - MINI Cooper F56 Instructions by GeyserBricks are on Rebrickable https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-36559/GeyserBricks/mini-cooper-f56-2016-42056-b-model/#comments
  7. I devolved 42096 back in to a road car. The offset on the 42110 wheels means the model is 23 studs wide using stand CV joint/double wishbone set up. I moved the engine to behind the rear axle and added a simple 2 speed gearbox. 8. 1967 VW Beetle built from 42056 Features Steering suspension, 4 speed H pattern gearbox with remote linkage, flat 4 engine with cooling fan Front seats tilt forwards and the doors bonnet and engine cover open too. 9. Inspired by the Corgi Batmobile (1966-1983). Features HoG steering, moving flame, rocket launcher and chain slicer. Instructions by GeyserBricks on Rebrickable https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-34333/GeyserBricks/classic-batmobile/#comments
  10. The original design didn't allow 2 gears to be select at all but that was when I assumed the gear stick was in the center of the car. Turns out the car was right hand drive with the driver moved towards the center and gear selector on the drivers right. There was no room for the original design but I am using it on my next build.
  11. You can see the links in the image. The gear selectors slide on gear racks. Ford GT40 MK1 1967_8 by James Tillson, on Flickr It is strange how 3 different connections came together to make that work. Found this solution by pure luck. I used the wheel arches from 42096. They are smaller than bugatti arches and only available in white with prints on.
  12. Thank you. The model was build in CAD so I could ask for a few colour changes. Almost all the text goes to my flickr page for some reason but the rebrickable link works now
  13. 1967 Ford GT40 MK I. The livery of this model was inspired by the number 17 GT40 that finished 2nd in class at the 1967 Sebring 12 Hour race. Features 4-speed gearbox with H-shape stick shift and remote linkage HOG-steering with working steering wheel 4 wheel independent suspension Openable bonnet Tiltable rear clamshell Openable doors Working V8 engine Instructions by GeyserBricks are on rebrickable https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-33807/GeyserBricks/ford-gt40-mk-i-1967/#comments

  15. I made two Stratos based on my Dino 246 chassis. Its powered by 2 L-motors and Buwizz. Doors and clam shells open. Complete with transverse V6. Instructions and demo video are now available. https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-32084/GeyserBricks/lancia-stratos-hf-group-4-rally-car-from-1974/#comments
  16. I built a white one and took 2 studs out of the wheelbase to make a Stratos. Chassis now has a Buwizz, 2 L motors and faster gearing, Dino brothers by James Tillson, on Flickr Dino brothers by James Tillson, on Flickr Dino brothers by James Tillson, on Flickr
  17. Instructions will be on rebrickable soon. I don't think so. There is a picture of the remaining parts at the end of the video instructions.
  18. I made a V6 Exige from 42096. 20. I thought it would be a B model as there is no official Lego alternative build.
  21. I made a FWD 1997 Beetle from 42096. Instructions are now on Rebrickable. https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-31514/GeyserBricks/moc-42096-b-model-vw-new-beetle-1997/#comments Untitled by James Tillson, on Flickr
  22. How about a one-armed crawling zombie, a Hamster on a wheel, or a X-wing in the Death Star trench?
  23. That's the one, looks great. I think it needs the bumpers off, the mirrors moved and a light pod on the front.
  24. Nice to see this pop up again. The instructions are excellent as always. This (and every blue and black car I ever made) can be built in white using the curved panels from 42096. I'd like to make the Anson 358 car with an extra motor and a BuWizz,
  25. First time I saw a mini engine was in the 9393 B model.
