  1. They're two of Boomingham two most trusted friends, and now they seem to be looking after each other as well.
  2. Now we have to get Hybros, Boomingham and Em on a quest.
  3. OoC: I believe you're right, and I've gotten it wrong twice in a row.
  4. "Master Keelim, I am sorry that you will not be able to accompany us on our newest journey! I was looking forward to catching up with you was something I was looking forward to." The U'Kin glances at the door. "But I am afraid I must run - I am always on a tight schedule. I will try to see you upon our return!" The U'Kin hastens out of the Hall.
  5. "It is a pleasure to meet the both you. Hoke Abelsword, and… you must be Dyric Rone?" U'Or nods curtly that yes, he's gotten the name right. "I have yet to meet a hero I dislike. I'm sure you won't ruin my streak."
  6. "Sounds good to me, yo," whispers back Bobby. He tries a friendly wave at the Star Elves. OoC: I equipped my Fine Boots.
  7. "Hm… I'll be going shortly," she says with a little shrug. "Did some sight seeing instead. But you are a sight for sore eyes." Felix smiles fiercely at Guts, and it is difficult for him to tell if she's excited to see him or excited for a re-match. "Looks like your gold pouch is a little heavier this time around. I'd keep an eye on it. Lots of vagabonds where we're headed." "Mister Guffington… well, I'm doing quite well, thank you, Mister Holla." Guffington smiles warmly. "It's good to see you, Guts. Perhaps at this point in our acquaintanceship it is time that you start calling me Gerald. How long is it we've known each other? A few year and a few shaky hours of time to boot." U'Or blushes, but bows deeply to Guts while forgoing a verbal response. Guffington eyes him coyly and shakes his head in amusement. "It's a pleasure to meet you, hero of Xu…" "And you too, Arthur Zeigfried nee Regulus." Guffington smiles warmly and shakes Arthur's hand. "I am always pleased to meet new heroes of Heroica." He glances at U'Or. "You can blame U'Or for my trivial knowledge of your heritage. He insists on doing research on all the hired help, heroes included. Heavens knows why." "I believe Lady Felix and Mister Holla know very well why I insist on doing back ground checks as I'm sure Mister Holla and Lady Felix perfectly understand. I once hired three waiters and a chef and a whopping three of them turned out to be deadly!"
  8. No worries JimBee! I think it'd be fun if the heroes sort of walked in one at a time - it the reason I wrote that intro the way I did, so we'd get to start role playing but people could still finish up business - I know you just got done with a quest!
  9. Bobby pulls on his Fine Boots. "Yo, more I think about it the more Miderun is right. This place seemed a-okay without the Blue Nekrastone, and if one of Feneraian dudes will blow up the Elvish dudes if they get the stones and vice-versa shouldn't we keep all the stones apart, know what I'm saying? So, I'm aight with going to help this Fenerian, and I'm down with giving that brown stone back to the forest, but then maybe we just bounce with the blue stone and give it to the merpeople in exchange for our raccoon." Bobby shrugs. "Yo, Bain, I can dig that you're in pain and all but we gotta hop on that Brown Nekrastone if we want to save it. Miderun is good, you lead me and the dwarf after the stone I'm sure Miderun will go save your man." Bobby blushes. "If that's aight with you, Mide."
  10. Inside the walls of Guffington Manor stands a beautiful little courtyard. There, three figures stand, waiting for some heroes. The older man has a quiet grin on his face, though you can see in his eyes that he's a little tired - perhaps up too many nights planning a trip to some fantastical lands. The U'Kin looks similar, perhaps even more tired than the old man from writing letters and hiring heroes and booking boats and keeping the Manor spotless as well. The Selkreeth looks well rested. They all stare at the gate, wondering which of their heroes will arrive first. OoC: I will wait for training room posts/market shopping sprees before posting stats. Welcome!
  11. A U'Kin in a suit and bow tie makes his way into Heroica Hall and glancing around, pins a notice to the Questboard before hurrying back out.
  12. Boomingham chews on the inside of his cheek. "I suppose it's possible they're not related. I find it hard to believe though." Boomingham uncorks a mead and begins to drink it. "Got to wet my whistle. All this thinking… not nearly enough drink to go around. You're right though, we need to find out more about her. Those sisters are a tight-lipped bunch though." "The Zeigfrieds are a zany crowd, as you might call them. But… even so…" Boomingham shakes his head. "Have to stand for something, don't you? Eubric is I guess the closest place to home I have, and Ulrica rising to power here seems to spell trouble for us back on Uland. That witch… and as you say, Ulric doesn't truly seem the man of the people he pretends to be. Not when he has to use brainwashing to get his way."
  13. Bobby attacks Autumn from the front row. OoC: I am bound, right? Which means I can't switch rows? Maybe list it in my stats if that's the case, I believe we both have forgotten about it already once.
  14. OoC: Since we're in the same "area of the map" as the fountain I don't think it will cost us any extra time to go there… right? Also sorry to leave you without someone to bounce against, Pyro. But I am going to utilize this time with Sandy away to chat with Eric as much as I can. Have I mentioned how much I love this whole party? Boomingham frowns. "Was it the cove they were going to? Thought they trundled on out to the desert. I say we take a look out the fountain while we're round these parts. It is the sisters we're here for anyway. Or at least I think it is." "I'll level with you, Eric, but only because I've known you for such a Hel of a long time and it's been bugging me, and Barty's only so good to talk to. See, there's a wolf here, goes by the name Ulrica. She's trying to be made head hand-maiden to Danab or whatever the Hel they're all squabbling about. Seems mighty fishy to me, right?" He lowers his voice needlessly. "Besides, you remember Aunt Easter? I've got a good hunch that might be Zelda Zeigfried. Say what you want about the Bonapartes, they seem like they've got a stick wedged where the sun don't shine, but the Zeigfrieds have always seemed kind to me. I think she might be worried about what's happening in this city, and Eubric as a result. What do you make of it?" He scratches his temple. "Be careful with who you let in on all this. This is all in confidence, alright chappo? I don't know this or that about Pegleg or the pretty boy and who they might be looking to help. That goes for you too, Rex. Sworn oath, keep that mouth shut."
  15. Hey! Don't tell them! How am I supposed to be the big mean QM if they know I have a soft spot for them??
  16. "Wait, you want the guardians to get the stone??" Bobby says, shocked, before giggling. "Naw dog, I'm just playin' we all gotchu."
  17. "Dudes, this is all just a bunch of words, I'm telling you guys we're not just leaving someone chilling in a tree waiting for judgement from other trees! I'm all about saving the forest, but you guys are all saying a bunch of shiz but me and Mide are gonna save her, so like that's what's up." Bobby shrugs.
  18. "Bro, it's not about use. She's a chick in a tree. We can't just leave her, yo! Once she's free we'll get that nekrastone back lickity split no prob-lam-o." Bobby attacks the Winter Dryad from the front row. "Yo, chica, I'm not looking to get all rough with you, if you want to bounce that's aight with me, cross my heart I'll get that stone back, yo!"
  19. Boomingham massages his head, trying to recall what the map had looked like and who had it, besides. "Aren't we near Danab's Fountain?" he asks finally. "That must be something to someone - aren't the sisters we're protecting sisters of Danab? Might as well take a peak while we're here."
  20. Pala, healing staffs cannot be used outside of battle because of them being the worst item ever.
  21. OoC: Speaking of gold increasing artifacts, Sandy, I haven't gotten my 10 gold from the last two battles. Also, what time of day are Eric and I in. And Pyro, Boomingham said he was planning to try to get something real done if he helped you guys with this current mission… so you might have to bribe him. Boomingham scrunches up his face, trying to recall the Bonapartes from the Foundation Day Ball. He thought that perhaps they'd been a little rude to him, short, not really interested in leadership. He sighs. No dice remembering the exacts of it. "Gold is only so good if you can spend it. Burning the world sort of costs your that opportunity, wouldn't you think?" Boomingham laughs heartily, but keeps his eyes locked on his friend's back. "Ulric seems fine and dandy enough, if he can win power on his own, I'm sure he'd be a fine leader. It's the witch I don't trust. She bring a whole different force to the table. Have you met her, chap?" Boomingham glances around the forest. "Where are we headed, again? Back to the Maramaducs?"
  22. Bobby repeats from the front row as he stares into the eyes of his foe, who seems to be quite taken with him. "Yo, plant-dude, I'll all good with working this out bro to bro."
  23. Boomingham caught the skull deftly and slipped it into his bag. "You got it. Good folks, those were-lions. Glad it didn't come to blows between us." Barty flashes into existence next to him for just a brief second and jerks his head toward the Nord before flashing back to other planes. Boomingham rolls his eyes. The heroes and their compatriot start to clamber out of the Beastman's Lair. "Listen chappo, have a question for you. Might seem a bit arbitrary seeing how far from Eubric we are at the moment, but I can't help but imagine you've heard of or come up against the Wolfgang in Eubric, no? All these political games over here in Salamadna has got me thinking about them a bit. What's your take on this King of Eubric? Ulric, right?"
  24. Bobby attacks the Spring Dryad from the front row. "Sorry, dude!" he calls to his foe.
