Corny, post this distribution!!! I want to get this thing wrapped up.
-
I believe you yourself put a Theatre in it that I'm hoping to use as a locale of a future quest. But, if you want to use it, I can visit a different Theatre!!
-
I was personally sad to see some of my NPCs die. I doubt that too many of the players are genuinely upset, but I highly appreciate that they are roleplaying it. Reading the last few days of 57, I wonder why there haven't been any updates.
-
I actually thought this was a bug. No joking. My screen was pretty dim, but even so, I was like "hey, how dare he try to pass that real bug off as a Lego creation". Very nice work. I love the head's shape and shine, the leg color is superb, and the back two trailing is a great touch.

Once this loot distribution is done, we've got about a day to go. Just some good byes to say.
-
The first one was buffed, the final one is buffed.
-
We were all so surprised that we were hosting quests in the same place with three different Emperors, we were like, hey, maybe we can meet up sometimes?
-
Believe it or not, we plan ahead if we are going to combine quests.
-
You want to combine quests right now?

OoC: Health doesn't matter at this point, there will be no more battles. Weapons and inventories are for you to figure out, not me. At this point I trust everyone to take back what they deserve. You may not loot the dead allies (though I don't think they have anything worth taking anyway), but can of course take back from them anything that belonged to you. The heroes begin to collect their dead, but when they reach the Gray Wizard there is a flash and bang and before them stands the Master of Regret. "Leave him. He is my brother. He is mine. I will take care of him." The Master of Regret turns to the heroes. "You should not feel regret. You won. Nothing in life comes without a cost. But you fought for what you believed in, and in the end, you prevailed. I will tell you this. When Hans died, when Gnash died, when Wren and Felton passed into where ever they passed into, they felt no regret. Felton advised you to live in the beauty of the now, in the ever changing. Think on my riddle. Think on my brother. You are not finished, heroes. The now is eternal. I will assist you out, as you are unlikely to be able to get back to your hall floor. Perhaps we will meet again. My sister is better with hopes and dreams than I." There is another dark flash, and the Master of Regret is gone along with his dead brother. The heroes stand out on the edges of Eubric. The sun is high in the sky, the air is sweet, time has passed. Cancelled roleplay bit deleted. Avert your gaze. Around them is the loot. While they still have a bit to do, they will probably have to distribute that now. LOOT: Zoot's Plaything (Becomes a Weapon with WP=3/4 of the hero's level, usable only by that player) x2 Phoenix Essence 700 Gold Topaz Diamond Aquamarine Emerald Sapphire x2 Dragon Scales

Eurobricks Mafia II: Mafia School: Day Three
Zepher replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
You're right, my logic was flawed. I was very tired and being not very smart, it would seem. And I'm aware they don't have large teams coaching them. But assuming that Danny was not a killer (I know we can't assume, but there was about a 50/50 chance at that point), then none of the scum are alone. Look at some of the theories that Peanuts, PirateDave, all these accused folks have been throwing up. It very much seems to me like they're just confused and lost. Someone said the same thing about Scouty yesterday, and Trumpet the day before, and they both flipped town. Final thought: is there any reason for the miller to NOT come forward as the miller (again, assuming there is one, def hinted heavily there would be). Does that role do anything but hurt the town? I realize the POTENTIAL benefit, of them being used in a very serious sting, but there's no reason for that sting to work any better than the others, and I don't think the scum have a way to "investigate" other than conversions, which either work or don't, don't tell them why. So, should the miller come forward and admit their role, saving us the trouble of false investigation results?- 110 replies

Boomingham wasn't talking to an owl. He's a Knight, not a Ranger. He doesn't know owl talk.
-
Boomingham unsheathes Scupperer and whacks the grass with it. "Come out and dance, anyone who wants," he calls out.
-
Why, we're just walking to a pond.

Eurobricks Mafia II: Mafia School: Day Three
Zepher replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I agree it's been too quiet (myself as well, I've been very busy with normal Earthling things and have not been tracking down small rodents to send back to the mothership for testing...). Luckily, my normal Earthling activities ended recently, so I will take my nap time now and then come back to play in earnest. The vote split today is very interesting. I'll say more later, but about my thoughts earlier: Cecile, its the support you seem to have (not only today, but other days too) that makes you blip, moreso than anything you've done. You also seem very quiet, sort of flying under the radar but still appearing helpful. I don't know. I feel like I am grasping at straws here, but you've blipped me for all three days, and now are mayor, so I thought it was worth bringing up. As for a mayor gambit, that's exactly why scum would have run you, so that you can say "the scum wouldn't run someone for mayor". You're really just blipping me. There are so kids who always read scum to me though: for example, Rick all game has been on my radar, but there's something about his playing style that always draws my attention... Also, your statement that the lie detector has already been used is most likely wrong. The lie detector is a one shot. Anyone using it is safe to come forward because they would have no reason not to (the scum wouldn't kill them for an "action" and we'd know for a fact that alignment of one player). So that blips for me too. Lil' Peanuts doesn't strike me as scummy. Pally seems to just be voicing unpopular but insightful opinions. Nightshroud and PirateDave seem over-all mis-informed to me, so much so that I can't imagine they have a team coaching them right now. I guess Nightshroud has been the most sporadic out of all the likely candidates today. Vote: Lil' Nightshroud (Nightshroud99), but that is very subject to change.- 110 replies

Vipera Has 1/2 change of making a selected hero lucky or blessed. Alternatively, has a 1/6 chance of reviving a fallen hero. The party stands... weak. Mallelio kneels down next to Hans and finds no pulse. Phil does the same for Gnash. "May the Dragons set fire to their hearts and fly them away." <Hans?> "I'm sorry Poletad. They will help you carry him out." <They? What about you, Felton? Won't you come with us?> "No, my poor brave frog. I will not be accompanying any of you out of this temple." The entire temple rumbles. Wren coughs. "I don't want to die," she whispers meekly. "I want to live and see the beauty forever." "We all do," Felton says. "But that can't be the case. That's the chief beauty of the world, of chaos. It is fleeting. No mortal may hold onto it. It all just flows by. Each moment is new and unique from the last." The temple shutters again. <You speak very wisely, Felton. I have always found something strange about you in the Spirit Pools when we first met, but it has always been masked. I assumed that it was some sort of residual power that you were unaware of. I realize now... it explains why I could not tell you and your doppleganger apart.> The temple shudders a final time, and the world crumbles around the heroes. They are jolted into some place between time and space. The conversation continues, just floating voices. Visions appear before of them, meaning nothing. "I have always wondered if you knew. It is true. I am no mortal, but that does not mean the time I have spent here with you is any less real to me. I was born as you were, though out of Chaos, not out of a woman. The bestial Chaos Beasts, they are my brothers in a lesser form. I lived and learned. Many moments I made real choices. I have a soul and a brain just as all of you do." "I was put here for a purpose, but like many I outgrew it. I was meant to see the end of Wren and her reign. But other actions were there. I grew affections. For Hans, for Poletad, Nyx, Atramor, Victor, Skrall, Cronk, all of you are my friends, there is no lie in that." "I will miss you all terribly, but this is where my line ends. I have completed my purpose, seen the beauty of the world, lived life, contemplated death- I too don't know-" "-what lays ahead, but whatever it may be-" "-I hope that I enjoy it as much as I've enjoyed the beauty-" "-of this world. Lady Wren you stood no chance. But you have seen more beauty of the world than most people. You are a Queen of Chaos-" "-of that, I have no doubt. Would you like to come see the next world with me? See what swirls around in the empty spaces there, what collides, what explodes, what falls apart? Yes, I would. I am-" "-ready." The heroes stand in the temple. The Gray Wizard, Hans, Gnash and Sphinx are dead all around them. Felton and Wren are gone. The temple is quiet. Loot in a few hours, gotta bounce, talk about it.
-
It did not. I sometimes don't note it if there's just the chance to assassinate one as opposed to a group. It's a little sloppy, admittedly.
-
I will host more like that soon. Only if you PM'd me and asked for that.
-
Nope. It's supposed to be winnable. You guys are probably going to win this round. A few of you are KO'd. If you had been less afraid of a few of you getting KO'd earlier, you would have won a while ago. I've got a lot of things to say to you guys in the post-quest analysis too. You have! You're about to win a tough battle! You should be very proud. The encouraged effect is actually a freebie buff. Other than blinded, the effects did transfer directly to Wren. She could be WAY worse. The heroes built Wren in a lot of ways this quest. Even the opening in the battle had a very direct effect on how powerful Wren was.

Eurobricks Mafia II: Mafia School: Day Three
Zepher replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I find it interesting at the beginning of the day that so many people seemed to dismiss Foog's statements yesterday. They my have been confusing, but he flipped town which means he was doing something, and everyone just dismissed them as a gambit. That seems like quite a waste of his efforts, and it seems like we're throwing out potential information. I know this is going to be broad strokes, because it really is just basic instinctual blipping, but Cecile has actually been blipping my scumdar for pretty much the whole time. The fact that she is mayor now puts me even further on edge. We said scum wouldn't nominate/vote for each other for mayor, but perhaps now they are, and they put a mayor into position. It's a small role... Hinckley, only today, has been blipping a lot. Perhaps he was converted, or maybe he's just letting his act down a little by accident. He seems very combative today, and very dismissive of some points, while pushing others. It is the sort of scum acting town activity that I've grown to recognize... sometimes. Nightshroud too has been all over the place. For the whole game. Maybe its just his style, I don't know if I've ever played on the playground with him before, but its very blippy. That's all I've got. Any thoughts? Am I wrong, am I right?- 110 replies

Also, for damage calculations (and I thought we added this to the Q&A, but apparently not): (((WP*multipliers)+[Level+Power Additions])*Elemental Modifiers*Encouraged/Weakened/Row/etc)=Damage dealt

Because I messed up and didn't count the hits, so they sort of all landed hits . That round will remain a little funky. I'll run this round once you have a more concrete plan.

Boomingham wearily stares at Sancho. "I'm no friend of the Wolfgang. You still owe me money, the lot of you. (Quest 28, for anyone interested. I'll consider your service here the beginning of your payments. Perhaps we'll be turning over a new leaf." "I'm ready to continue on when you are, my big eared friend."
-
Thank you! It's interesting. I'm sure a lot of other players and the NPCs would probably say that about Arthur. Hans is just an average guy. He is decent.
