  1. Uh, why does the Western-theme need discussion about it every week? Especially when there is no such theme being released anymore? That's like saying "we need to discuss Fabuland more!". But I believe the Western fans have already said everything they want to say about what they want from a possible new Western theme. It always takes a few new members to get the discussion going on again. By the way, Western is not a main theme for LEGO like the others you mentioned, don't be delusional about that. It was released in just two years, where as City and Castle and Space have all been around for decades.
  2. Thanks for all the comments, they're greatly motivational! All I can say that I guess I did my job well with the last panels, then.
  3. Yaay, they're all dead! Heh, not really. It was just so obvious that the nameless side characters would all die before the main chars would. It'll be interesting to see how the group is going to survive this all.
  4. You didn't?! Wow, I'm thoroughly impressed and honored! Haha, don't give me any ideas now! There's been a distinct lack of romance in my comics so far (aside from the Fabuland/Minerva/Noland triangle), so I've been toying several options for the leading ladies in my mind. Lesbian love is certainly not out of the question, though.
  5. Sorry, I just had to ask, since your first comment sounded like you were missing action from this chapter. But yeah, there will be even more action in the fourth chapter, with the Blood Knight and all.
  6. Like I said in my PM to you, I find this comic highly interesting and can't wait to see how you conclude it. I've always been a sucker for this type of survival stories, and the morality included in Smileville really makes it stand out for me. Keep it up, please!
  7. It's good to hear that it's not based on Lost anymore, because I've been following the series, and it's messed up as hell! A good old "Robinson Crusoe" type of background story is much better, in my opinion, and I'll surely sign up as soon as possible. You two just take care of each other, so that whatever happened to Imperial Soldiers Mafia (and Galactic Paranoia and Ditalini) won't be repeated, okay?
  8. No, there's just one Blood Knight, who is a renegade. You'll learn more in the next chapter, promise.
  9. Thanks! I just have to ask, don't you consider a magic dragon slaughtering people "action"?
  10. Why not just name it after me, then? The color shall hereby be known as "Sandy"!
  11. Greetings again! After a short hiatus, the Queens' Quest is back on. I have to apologize for the delay of this comic, I really don't have any excuses beyond the fact that this chapter required many MOCs to build. It was fun, but time-consuming. This chapter has a lot of things going on in it, so I won't prattle on but let you find them out yourselves. I do hope you enjoy it! As always, all feedback is much appreciated. I'm doing this comic for you just as much as I'm doing it for myself, after all. Fourth chapter will return to Queen Beatrix as she heads to Brickhaven to embark on a ship bound to the islands of the trolls, but her journey is intercepted by none other than the notorious Blood Knight. There's something to look forward to, eh?
  12. This is a great fig, quite a brave one for a children's toy line too. The only thing I'm missing is a hairpiece. I really don't like "studheads" even though they're supposed to portray baldness.
  13. Oh wow! What a fantastic creation! Reminds me somewhat of the gate of Moria in LotR, even though it didn't have colossal dwarf carved onto a mountainside. The snow really adds much to the creation, so good call on that. I love how it hangs off the hammer, too. The texture of the stone is really great, and the windows and balcony add a nice detail to the rockface. The only thing I would change, if possible, would be to make the dwarven carving actually hold the hammer. Now it's kinda hovering there, unattached to the hand.
  14. I myself welcome the red roofs. I don't have any big red roof-slopes, just some blue, dark blue, sand green and heckuva lot of black roof-slopes. I find the new factions very aesthetically pleasing when it comes to their colors and crests. While lions and dragons have been seen many times before as emblems, they also help bring the "classic" feeling to the new factions that so many have been missing. But this topic shows that fans can never be fully pleased: either something is too traditional ("cliché"), or then it's too far from it.
  15. This insanity needs to stop. Vote: Pvt Wilson Gale/Whitefang
  16. The old underwater themes (Aquanauts etc.) had plenty of them. I got mine from the Harry Potter set "Rescue from the Merpeople", though. http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/37
  17. I think that depends whether or not there's elephants in the movie. I really don't see this theme continuing for more than this wave, though, as great as these sets are.
  18. I see you have the Dragon Fortress as well. It's certainly one of the greatest and most unique sets LEGO has ever created. In your MOC you've stayed quite true to the original set, but I personally would've wanted to see something more original (and more authentic). It's also a bit too small to make a lasting impression, so you could definitely work on it some more. But it's nice enough for sure, and I really like the bustling scenes you've made to compliment the building.
  19. Wow, she really is nice! Even though I'm a geeky-kind of girl, I don't have any disdain towards cheerleaders, mainly because there are so few of them in Finland. However, I do think this fig's facial expression is perfect for the clichéd airheaded image of cheerleaders - such vacant eyes, such a forced smile. So yeah, she's perfect for her role.
  20. I've been suspicious of Pvt. Gale since Day 1, but somehow he got me convinced otherwise at one point. Now, I just don't know...
  21. There's still the high possibility that the sane investigator was taken out early in this game of life, and his job just didn't pass to anyone. It certainly is plausible considering how poorly we honored soldiers are doing... I am sorry for loosing my enthusiasm to solve this issue after Day 3, I just felt so betrayed by Mr. Perot, and now it turns out Mr. Shadón wasn't honest with me either. I could just beat myself up for believing him so blindly.
  22. Alright, what did just happen here? So Mr. Shadón wasn't the honorable person he led me to believe... I feel strange. It looks like I've been pulled and pushed by people in every allegiance. I honestly have no idea who to trust anymore. It was obvious that I trusted wrong people yesterday. Let's see if there is any salvation for us today.
  23. I have to say that Mr. Shadon makes a whole lot of sense. For being totally untrustworthy, I vote: Pvt. Tom Perot (TinyPiesRUs).
  24. Hehe, funny little captions, I have to say. If LEGO published a newspaper, these would definitely deserve a spot in the comics section. Humour is a tough art to master, so I think you've done a great job in that perspective. Keep'em coming!
  25. I would probably blame those of us who did not vote at all more for not getting a conviction for two days in a row. I just couldn't trust Mr. Perot anymore after the way he lead me on in Day 2. Needless to say, I've been in a blackout since yesterday after the "no potato messages" rule came in order, so I've pretty much lost all contact to those who I trust. Maybe that's why my mind is making up these crazy theories.
