  1. Nice ideas. Isn't that Fat Tony's HMS Repentance?
  2. I thought I had gone across, too?
  3. My build is turning out bigger than planned. If possible, I'd also like to use module 15. I'm assuming, of course, that as this project gains popularity, the map will also grow, as in the Castle build.
  4. Like I suggested, what, 4 chapters ago?
  5. A post-apoc mecha. I use the term "mecha" lightly - what I really mean are the construction and experimental "mecha" that are around today, except apocified and revamped. You see, "mecha" are not yet-to-be-made, futuristic battle suits; they are used in construction and other related occupations (albeit not often). Yet in an apoc universe, a camper becomes a battle vehicle - why can't a "mecha?"
  6. *clutches rope and inches carefully across bridge*
  7. ... And if I'm not mistaken, both sides have completed their quota! Unless anyone still has a MOC to post, this thread may be closed and the judging thread may be created (I'll do that part, but I'll wait for this to close first).
  8. *NOTE: Since I do not frequent the train forum as much as others, I am somewhat in the dark about these mini-versions of trains in people's posts. I've borrowed some of Holodoc's to help introduce myself, in hopes of his understanding.* In the late eighties, about twenty years ago, I laid eyes on walls of Classic Space sets in the local toy shop. For the next few years, I was a die hard fan of the theme, with a vast collection of spaceships and moon-bases. Then, in the early nineties, walking through the same store that had fueled my love for LEGOs from the beginning, I stumbled across 4554 Metro Station : the 9V line had just been introduced, and for the first time, Trains caught my attention. I soon acquired 4563 Load and Haul Railroad , 4547 Club Car, and 4558 Metroliner. Then, as my studies became more demanding, I entered my dark ages. Only when I turned sixteen did I return to LEGO, with my Trains purchases including 10017 Hopper Wagon , 10014 Caboose, and 10016 Tanker . My friends and I had hours of enjoyment powering the trains along the tracks - with the occasional crash, of course. Then came 2002, and I became very excited about what was appearing on the shelves. 10020 Santa Fe Super Chief , enough copies of its cars to make a full train , 4535 LEGO Express Deluxe, and 10205 Large Train Engine with Tender, Black quickly made their ways to my layout. In the coming years I also purchased 10133 Burlington Northern Santa Fe Locomotive and two of 10170 TTX Intermodal Double-Stack Car. When Remote Control trains began popping up, my train income halted: I had no idea how I would integrate Remote Control trains into my vast 9V collection. This Train fasting continued to the present, when the Power Functions train 10194 Emerald Night was unveiled. I'm currently toying with buying the new loco along with some of the Remote Control and 12V line. That's my LEGO Trains history in a nutshell; hope to see you 'round the new subforum!
  9. I'd like to build a Mecha Workshop at 14, please.
  10. I'll join the group going to the mill.
  11. I'm glad to see that the spamming has nearly stopped. However, there are some things I would like to clarify. Having a new thread for the judges was something that I fully intended to have created, if not create it myself. I can assure you also that when the time comes, my inner comedian will come out. However, the fact that a fun, humorous, and spam free judging thread will be formed is no excuse to put spam in another thread. I know I can be - and am being - overly harsh, but when things got inappropriate and out of hand, I had to step in. I'd like to compliment those that have made funny MOCs and commentary, and suggest that everyone else continue to follow their excellent example. And for those of you that are interested, I'm still taking bribes.
  12. Um, guys? We don't need to go back to the mill to get a saw. I have an axe, remember? *starts chopping up trees*
  13. Well, this point system is really only a moral system. I'm not ACTUALLY giving and taking away points on a chart. It is a good idea to moderate the threads and move all of the spam posts into another thread (say, this one), but I don't have the authority nor the power to do that. That's a big job, and I wouldn't want to bother Zorro, Phes, Strawberry, or anyone else with it. A Discussion Thread was supposed to have been made for non-participants and others - I had been waiting for Zorro or Super or Hornbricker to create it, but maybe I will...
  14. I shouldn't have to put this beauty in . I expect it to be frontpaged ASAP.
  15. The Redcoat VS. Bluecoat battle isn't the only thing that's taken the forum by storm. So has spam, which fills about 99.99 per cent of the Tournament threads. When I click on a Tournament of Retribution thread, what do I find? OMG your side sucks since flintlocks werent introduced until 1756 and since my car is better than yor car and because you stink and your a fool my side is beating your side. Does anyone else find that annoying? Each thread has about eight pages more than it should have. I can't vouch for other judges, but I do suspect that some - like L-Space - feel the same. So I've devised a plan to stop this spamming once and for all. I trust that no one is going to spam up the threads in the future, but if someone does, I've got a trust system. That dusnt make sense u suck. You're docked a point. OMG my side winz. You're docked a point, too. Guys, cut all of this spam. We should be focusing on the MOC, not stupid insults. Yay! You EARNED a point! As you might suspect, people with more points do better in the final judging, because this Tournament isn't just about the MOC, it's about behavior. So cut the spam!
  16. Bulldog! I'm staying on THIS side of the bridge!
  17. I sent the PMs, but no one in particular brought up the issue. It was just that a few people had posted extra creations in place of others.
  18. A PM was sent to each judge to decide whether or not Tournament of Retribution players could be on multiple teams. Did they vote YAY or NAY? Drumroll, please! The majority of judges voted AGAINST players being on multiple teams. This means that you can't submit an entry for a player that's not contributing/has yet to contribute on another team. You can ONLY post entries for YOUR team, and your team alone. If a member is not contributing, I suggest you replace him/her. If you have posted a MOC for another team, post here telling us which MOC you want judged. If you wish, your extra MOC can take the place of your second entry. I will send anyone that's confused a PM to help you understand the matter.
  19. A thousand congratulations, my well deserving friend!
  20. It is best not to dabble in the disconcerting affairs of the staff - it never ends well, and after all of it, you still have no idea what the heck is going on. It's best just to leave it - and them - well alone. I hate it when people rip off Calvin and Hobbes...
  21. Thank you for providing these images. If you'll notice, Ackbar has darker hands than Mon Calamari Officer, and since they have the same reddish-brown hands, the differences in lighting are just an optical illusion or a mistake in the photo-shoot.
  22. These entries are looking good. Great job, everyone! And what does "properbly" mean?
